David, this is a really helpful and clear tutorial. It is so much easier to follow than the "high speed" Reallusion ones.

Thank you. I really appreciate hearing that. To be fair, I think Reallusion generally try to find a balance between including as much information as possible while keeping things as short as short as possible.

    Hi David,
I came across your RUclips channel while searching for the Motion Pilot.
You explain the procedure wonderfully - but I have updated my Comic Animator to 5.2, but I can't find the Motion Pilot.
I can't find anything to download from Reallusion either.
Maybe you can explain how I can find it.
    Many thanks in advance. :-)

If you have Cartoon Animator 5.2 then I show in this video exactly how to access it. With your actor or prop on the stage selected, click the bottom tool (looks a bit like an arrow) on the side toolbar. Note that it only works with G3 actors not G1 or G2 actors. If you have a G1 or G2 actor selected Motion Pilot will be grayed out and not accessible.

In my motion pilot Preview is not showing kindly help me ? I have purchased your courses

    • @animlife

Thanks for purchaseing my courses. Usually if you can't see the preview button it's because your screen resolution is not high enough causing the button to disappear below the bottom edge of your screen. If your screen resolution is already at maxium in windows settings I believe you can also fix the problem by scaling the display through windows settings. Unfortunately I can't give you a detailed description on how to do this at this time - I'm away from my computer and only have access to mobile Android devices until Mon Oct 30th. However both solutions are through your Windows display settings so hopefully you'll be abe to work it out.
