Usually since there will be enough at the bastion, it’s just a time loss if you already have gold armor. The thought process is that it’s better to just wait and get all your gold at once. Some people do get it though, I used to. Just preference 🤷♂️
Yep, it wasn't completed! This is a real run. I complete the portal it at 5:50. It is fortunate that it didn't spawn with any crying obsidian though! If you want to check the seed for yourself, it's at the end of video. The version is 1.16.1.
