Another great video! I can totally relate to the "which aisle to start in" panic. I will often check for vintage fabrics and wool yarn or needlepoint kits. I'm going to encourage you to list the spice box even with the broken drawer. There is always someone like me who loves an orphan and enjoys the challenge of repairing or creating a solution. It's worth a try! I really liked your kind interaction with the older gentleman.☺
Awe thanks so much for the nice comment Mary! And yes I’m always in a panic over which to start with - today I was at goodwill and did the art first and then I saw another girl find an awesome shelf before me in furniture. Lol Painful! Thank you, that gentleman is very nice and often see him on seniors day, he finds cool stuff!
I believe the amber piece is actually a storage jar from the 70's that would have had a glass lid. They came in graduated sizes. What a good idea to use it as a vase and it did have an owl look to it! I think I actually prefer it as a vase.🙂
The floral oil painting is my favorite ... so pretty. I wonder about the pasta bowl with mushroom design that you passed by without mention, as I know mushrooms are popular now. You picked up many great items!
Thanks so much Kathleen! I liked the mushroom pasta bowl but I decided probably won’t sell dishware and plates. I sold one plate and it took 3 months to sell. I love the floral painting too! Secretly hoping that one won’t go :)
After watching this episode I finally had to purchase something from your Etsy shop today…you just keep picking up items that make me say “oh, good for you for not leaving that!”
The boxes full of embroidery thread at 17:37 might have been a good pickup, depending on price. I tried to order one for my daughter a couple of years ago for $30, but they were sold out. The owl tray is very 60’s/ 70’s. Love the cross stitch picture.
Thanks for the tip on the age of the owl tray! I’m actually surprised no one has picked it up yet from my shop! Appreciate you watching and commenting :)
Yes that metal tray was so nice - it already sold on Facebook Marketplace for $40. Really pretty. Feel the same way about the wooden picture, just a bit too out there for me
Hi 👋🏻 the wood small chest with ceramic drawers are Indian I have a few, you can still sell it just put all the drawers around and leave the hole in the middle, I have two I’ve found in Goodwill and I still use it and one was missing one drawer and I put the rest of drawers around the top and sides and left the middle without it and I put a small ceramic blue bird I had in there as decoration it looks just fine and I use mine for the cone incense, I think you should of gotten that wood frame with the lady with brass I think that would of sold fast, thank you for sharing 😊🙋🏼♀️
That’s a great idea with the ceramic drawer piece! I may end up trying that - also going to try to glue it together since the front is intact, just the back and bottom are broken. Or just may glue the front in place so it can’t be opened. But long story short I’m loving it in my kitchen and will put tea bags in it. Thanks so much for your comment and for watching!!!

Oh yeah that metal tray is a winner. The picture for $7.99 with metal girl I didn’t care for.

You missed the wooden salad bowl with 2 small ones in it! Wooden sets sell well!
Yes I’m going to try my hand at selling my first set soon that has 4 bowls and one large salad bowl. We’ll see how it does!
You got great stuff
Thank you so much! Appreciate you tuning in!
The amber “vase” is actually a glass jar that is missing its lid. I have one that is complete. That said it would make a lovey vase.
Oh good to know! Thanks for letting me know! And thanks for watching :)
