Night of 100 Frights is a masterpiece in my book. I remember it fondly as a kid and have played it again as an adult and its still charming as ever. Feels like a scooby doo episode, excellent soundtrack and voice acting. And it's such good value for money, the game is actually really long and makes it fun and rewarding to have to back track through areas and collect more snacks and tokens. As a kids game, it's fun and charming. As an exploration and platforming game it's great and rewarding, some areas present a worthy challenge by timing your jumps and re-exploring areas to unlock more.

I'm very glad that this game is getting more recognition now that it's over twenty years old. Love it or hate it (I love it, personally), it's very unique as far as licensed video games go, and you can tell that Heavy Iron Studios tried very hard to make a game for Scooby fans, just as they would later do for SpongeBob fans.

I played this game as a kid on Xbox
Actually you DO get a reward for getting 100%. In the main hub (specifically to the left of the fishing village), you’ll find the Monster Gallery where you get to view 3D models for every enemy in the game. This is what the Monster Tokens are for and collecting all the Scooby Snacks in every area in the game rewards the player with an art gallery. That aside; this was a great 👍 video.

Even though I didn't play this game a lot in during my childhood I will say that this game definitely feels like a love letter to original series
Especially with the soundtrack feeling and sounding like the one herd in the original series witch is a detail that I absolutely can appreciate because the soundtrack from Scooby-Doo where are you had some very memorable cues herd throughout the episode's themselves

It’s perfect. I always liked how certain places couldn’t be accessed until you got a specific invention. It adds a feeling of world building, like you’re on an adventure. It’s an experience like no other and will always have a place in my heart.
Played this game for the first time a few weeks ago. Beat it last week. I was presently surprised at how much I enjoyed this game. It's so charming and has just the right amount of challenge for me to enjoy. The mystery was actually gripping with an awesome ending. A 3D Platforming Metroidvania is the genre blend I never knew I needed, their honestly should be more games in this genre. Sadly when I was a kid the only Scooby Doo game I had was Classic Creep Capers on the n64 and I never got past the first level. If only I had this game as a kid lol

For some reason this game and BFBB and connected with eachothers files, because some things in the BFBB files have Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights assets are placeholders for some BFBB clips lmao

My brother and I used to play this all the time on the GameCube. We found this bug where after getting to the Graveyard the Warp Gate for the Green Ghost Boss battle would unlock. Every new game we make, every console we try it on it works. Never seen it on the internet anywhere though

I recently replayed this game with a friend with the intense dread that I was going to discover my first video game was not great. Both of us are avid gamers.
Straightforward, this game is actually very good. Yeah, of course it isn't a Skyrim or God of War, but does it have to be? If they remade this while fixing some of the flaws (collecting without reward, odd platforming), I think it could really be a hit.

Dont worry my copy on xbox did the exact same thing on my xbox 360. I wish there was a way to play the game without using old tech.
I think that your Xbox copy messing up is purely your copy, I beat and 100% complete this game on the Xbox and that never happened to me. I played it on a original Xbox console however, the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility doesn't always runs/plays OG Xbox games well in some areas. Could be an emulation glitch.
Funny enough I'm actually playing through this game on GCN now, I got a copy from my local game shop for about $20 a few months ago, probably have intentions of 100%ing it. Already did so on both PS2 and Xbox, plus I'm curious to see any differences between the three versions of game.

Don't play this game on 360 Heavy Iron games only emulate properly from BFBB onwards. Scooby Xbox needs to be played on an original Xbox. You're not given full motion for chandeliers because in an earlier build of the game you can do this: ruclips.net/video/8j_QacFU8tM/видео.html

The crash on the final boss only happens on XBOX 360, but thank god not on Cxbx-Reloaded.

Probably the use some stock art for a film for this game we know not not for my own Daphne and I think they use on that when where the model has a white around the eyeball so that's probably the reason why cause no more hunting but bear stuff and scooby doo they normally don't have a white eyeball then the actual black dots for their eyes they normally have 2 lines then a black dog but we got scooby here scooby doo but that's the reason why That's my guess why
So sorry you played the game on 360 i cant remember why but in the mastermind fight when he teleports down that causes the game to crash on 360. Also the boss music is amazing.

The random freezing is actually an Xbox 360 backwards compatibility issue I had the same thing happen but then I started playing it on the original Xbox and I wasn't having the issue And was able to complete it but its still annoying as shit xD
