Really appreciate the unique content you guys put out. War games from the last century, more obscure board game apps, and thought provoking questions. Thank you.
is there a chance to get an in-depth strategy video, I looks very interesting, the rules are not overhelming but I look at the board and then "What now??"
Yes, I am planning to do strategy guides for the first 4 COIN games at least, as I feel I have enough experience with those ones to offer something of value. The best thing with COIN games is just to start "pulling levers" and "pushing buttons" to see what happens. It will become clear before too long.
Interested in COIN games but difficult to find opponents. Not easy to teach these. Also, the bots are a nightmare. Do you think max player count is required to fully enjoy COIN games?
I did not enjoy this game at all. It felt like 4 different solo games that are intertwined with each other. And it is far too easy for a new player to play the game "wrong" and inadvertently hand the game to one of the other players. Plus, I am not really a fan of real-world conflicts being turned into board games, especially recent events which still have a lot of sociopolitical baggage attached to them.
Yes, sometimes it's nice to have some historical perspective before publishing games on real world conflicts. And COIN games certainly do demand a certain amount of competency on the part of each player. If you're fortunate enough to find a group that plays at a decent level, though, it's an amazing experience

This would be amazing
Excellent discussion and summarization of a great game.
It is a fantastic game indeed. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment.

This one is best at 4 players for sure, and as you say, it can be a challenge to find 4 friends locally to play COIN games.
Hi where do you play the electronic version of the game online...does it come with the physical game?
We filmed this on Tabletop Simulator. We did a video that teaches you how it works: ruclips.net/video/C2X6vhmHwq8/видео.html
I’m interested in the game.
Only game now that has the samey feel is Rebel Inc.
But it is quite niche and no one in my time zone to play this 😢
Interesting! I don't know that one
Great game series wish to see a coin game about Rhodesia would be cool
Yes, there are endless possibilities with the system!
@@LegendaryTactics indeed
This Tabletop simulation doesn't support the solitaire mode, right?
It does! You can be either the Coalition or the Taliban factions!
Thanks!! Downloading now then!
I would like to play this game but it seems very niche, hard to find someone else interested in it.
That's for sure. It will take a long time to master all the nuances of your options and would be a tough teach.
US military should have watched this video about 2 years ago.
Yes. I wish I had made it 2 years ago...
