Has it held up fine? I am building my oven right now and I want to coat a brand new zone off-road lift kit I have that’s in brand new factory powder coat. Really don’t want to have to strip/blast it all if it’s not necessary.
If your sure it’s powder coat you could get away with not stripping it but you can have lamination issues later bc when you do multiple coats you do not cure the first coat all the way . Even with clear . Your first coat you bake to run off take out spray 2nd coat once it’s cooled most the way then bake again till run off and continue another 15-20 mins or so to cure, length depends on exact powder which it will specify. So no you should not powder over with out tripping first but if you do maybe try heating it up a little first . Don’t spray hot but maybe warm . That may help some with delaminating but I don’t recommend
Hey buddy... If you would re- record this without the fan noise, it really would be of great benefit to us all ( those of us who have worked 30+ years in loud environments... have less than good hearing abilities ). This would be of great benefit to those of us with shops, or do work for customers, or DIY guys- n- gals doing their own vehicles! Respectfully, Seth
Awesome work!
Nice work bud
Love it man. I'm waiting on my powder to show up. Wanting to do an illusion blue on my truck.

Thank you

I think you can powder coat over previously powder coated items. It gets tricky when you want to apply paint over powder coated items.

Do you have to powder the whole piece the background color or can you leave most of the piece bare Except the raised letter area?
I shoot the red then wipe off on raised letters and fins
