I m a wife from an army veteran which served 3 times in Iraq. He was on deployment when I was pregnant with our first Daughter. It was hard to hold on but all the military wife's are doing it. I proud of all of it. And to all the military people thank you for your serice
My husband proudly served for 30 years and our son and I supported every mission because we were so proud of what he did for this country. I wish everyone could understand what they leave behind. One year my husband was gone was for 10 months that year but I have no regrets. This country is stronger because of the sacrifice he was willing to make and we supported him every day. I wish American citizens today could support that as well.
My son will be following in his father's footsteps & joining the Marine Corp after graduation next year. I'm terrified but I can't stand in his way. We are a military family & are proud Americans who hold the highest regard to those who fought, fight & want to fight for our freedom. God bless those who sacrifice for us everyday 🙏 This was a wonderful reaction. You're gonna be an amazing father one day ❤ Semper Fi..To all, those in the military reading this, thank you for your dedication & service.
Most of my family has been in the military. I served during the Gulf War. Two of my kids have joined. It is never easy, but you just have to have faith and let them go. Just know that they are doing it to protect you and the love of this great nation. I salute your son and family for stepping up and defending this great nation.
@@mickyerwin3343 ❤ A big thank you to you & your sons for your service. Yes, I know it won't be easy. I had to walk away last weak when my son spoke with the recruiter but I know his heart & it in the right place. It was in his blood from day one & all i can do is just know God is good & will protect him. I always keep the other brave souls out there in my prayers as well. Thank you so much for the response. I'm gonna show him your comment. He'll really appreciate it 😊
Toby Keith's dad served in the Army where his lost his right eye.. If you reacted to his song, "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" Toby Keith references that..
I been requesting it to . I love it. That's the song the Dixie chicks attacked Toby over . and stated a beef with but the Dixie chicks was out of pocket bunch of idiots but we see who's got the career still Toby not the Dixie chicks so good bye Dixie chicks go be with earl 😂
Toby like many other country music singers has always supported our troops and their families there's even a video of him honoring a 93yr old WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veteran at a concert. It was very touching I will try to find a link.
Aww, that is so sweet. Thank you to your husband for his service and for the sacrifices your family has made that allows your husband to leave his family to go off to protect the freedom of all people in this country that is so often taken for granted. God bless you all.
This is such a great tribute, the video is on point. I really appreciate your shout out to the families at home. The service is very hard on marriages and children.
Yes I been requesting it to . also that's the song the Dixie chicks attacked him over but you see who's still got a career after the beef Toby not the Dixie chicks they done lol and I'm glad because they were out of pocket and that song was true but they wanted to be idiots so good bye Dixie chicks go be with earl 😂
The one thing I appreciate about this video above other patriotic videos that came out after 911, Is the callback to all soldiers all the way back to the Spanish-American war.
This song rips my heart out every time I hear it , thank you to the brave men and women who are serving or have served, you guys are loved so much by all of us back home
I was at a toby Keith concert on fourth of July weekend with fireworks going off and him singing this song most memorable moment of my life. God bless the USA 🇺🇲
I appreciate what you said. My husband served for 36 years and is now retired. We've been together for 45 years now. From a Canadian military spouse. Thank you.
Dream Team great reaction to this amazing song giving the ultimate respect The men and women that are in the military and if they have to Will make the ultimate sacrifice by laying down their lives to protect this great country that we all love so dearly although a major thank you to the families of the men and women that are in the military we cannot thank you enough that men and women in the military do to protect this country of ours
My oldest is a Gunners mate in the Navy and my youngest is in med school. Please support our troops no matter what is going on. They are fighting for us.
As a Mom of a former Marine, this song rings true. Thank you for reacting to this song. Our Marines, Navy, Airforce and National Guard always have our backs!
Boy! Someone sure raised an amazing son! You are going to make a huge mark on the world! Stay true to yourself. You’re wonderful. Thank your mama for me. 😉❤️😊
I actually had the pleasure of watching him perform this song live in 2021 when he was at my local fair it was amazing! I didn't think he would do it, but he came back on stage and performed a few more songs including this one I was like "thank goodness!"
Coming from a soldier currently deployed this is a beautiful song and amazing reaction. This deployment alone I’ve missed my daughters first day of school and the birth of my first born son. But we know that it comes with the job of fighting for this amazing country we love and the beautiful people who live in it. Still every time I see and here this song it bring tears to my eyes and hits home. Thanks for the great reaction brither
Great reaction! As a veteran I really appreciate that you totally got it. And that you mentioned the families. We always say that it is not just the service members that serve but the whole family.
Thanks much for reacting to Toby Keith. Another patriotic singer you should react to is Travis Tritt; I'd recommend his song Anymore with the official video.
My Navy Grandfather loved to say "Once a damn Jarhead, always a damn Jarhead" (please take that with the joking inter-service rivalry that he said it with)
I love that song. The first few times I heard it,I thought it was from a man's point of view of a wife or girlfriend who was killed. I then found out it's from a father 's view after losing his son.
Thank you for recognizing that we sacrificed so much as well. We never knew if he was coming home but we always let him go with a hug and kiss because the mission mattered more than the possible outcome. He was fighting for this country's freedoms which so many people today are squandering like they mean nothing and I feel sorry for all of you who feel that way. The military will continue to fight to defend your rights whether you appreciate it or not.
This song is hard for me to hear and I cry every time. A cousin's bro-in-law saw Toby sing this and then he was killed by an IED a week later. I appreciate every person that puts their lives on the line to keep us safe!
Big and Rich song 8th of November is another amazing tribute to the military! True story about their friend and it really shows the difficulties and harsh reality of war on soldiers.
Even those who did not get wounded or killed in combat can still pay a huge price for serving this country. Myself for example my wife took off on me when I was deployed. And thanks to that I didn't get to see my son grow up. But I still don't regret for a moment serving this country and the Navy for 20 years.
Thank you for your reaction! I joined out of high school and did 20 years. I'm grateful to the US military. It did more for me than I ever did for it. It's said that when you join, you sign a blank check to Uncle Sam worth up to and including your life. A dramatic saying, but it's true. I love this video because it reflects what it's like to be in the US military and what the family goes through, and especially what it feels like when you get on that plane.
The year my son spent in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army was the longest, most difficult year of my entire life!!!! He came home safe and whole, we were soooo very blessed. We did, however, mourn the loss of many of his brothers. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE MY FREEDOM FOR GRANTED!!!
🙏🏻🇺🇸 THANK YOU 🇺🇸🙏🏻 My brother never made it home from Vietnam JUNE 02 1967 He was 20th old I was 9 years old. He joined the United States Marine Corps . PFC Received the bronze star with valor and a purple heart. 🙏🏻🇺🇸WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸🙏🏻
My nephew sign a contract to join the Army when he was 17yrs almost 10yrs ago now. That contract states he is now owned by the U.S government. He's been deployed 4x about to be 5.
I like the nod to the history that's included. American soldiers have fought not only for our freedom but also for the freedom of others in other countries.
One of the hardest videos for me to watch. When you walk away from the people you love, the biggest fear is that you may never see them again. Courage is being scared to death and still being able to complete the mission, Hooah!
As a former member of the U.S. Army and Vet, I know that most will understand this and hope those that don't will understand. We all that have put on the uniform give up more than most will ever understand. We not only give up our families for what we chose to do, but we give up that and more for everyone in this country no matter who or what you are. We, like to song say, DON'T want to die but we will so other won't have to. We all do it with pride, not for our own ego but for everyone.
My mom, dad, uncle, and grandfather were all military. From what I know, only my uncle ever saw combat. He did three tours in 'Nam. Each time his chopper was shot down. The last time, he was the sole survivor. He only spoke of it once. I knew better than to ask, so when he did speak of it, I kept my mouth shut and listened, something told me he'd never do it again. It hurts me to hear people putting the military down. I've seen what it does to the soldiers (airmen, sailors...), what it does to families. It's not an easy life, but one I respect.
Great job. Love your channel. I have a request. I'm Already There by Lonestar ( veterans version). You will love it. Oh and Kietch Rainwater ( the drummer for Lonestar is a friend of mine).
Toby was full of fun and jokes, a devoted family man and Christian. He was the only entertainer who would agree to perforn at Donald Trump's 2017 inauguration. He made over 20 USO tours to entertain troops in the Middle East. Toby's last performance was, "Don’t Let the Old Man In" in late 2023. The videos I have seen have left out his comment when he went onstage. Looking frail and thin, he cracked, "I bet you never thought you'd see me in a pair of skinny jeans!"
I love your reactions to Toby, I’m a huge fan. I’m a three type cancer patient, I have B and T cell lymphoma along with a side order of leukemia. Toby’s music is my zen, it’s how I get through the days. Have you done a reaction to “cryin fir me?” Research why he did the song, then playing it you’ll see he’s saying how we all feel now about him. Please do this one for me? Please? And do the video version, not the awards version.
Just binged all your Toby Keith reactions and about to hit your other reactions... I would absolutely love if you did Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (The Angry American). It's my favorite Toby Keith song.
I had seen a video of a vet who was at a restaurant who asked if he could use a vet discount there and a woman in the line accused him of just trying to get free food and was yelling at him at the restaurant other people stepped in and told her to back off one woman tried to pay for his food then the manager of the restaurant came out and told the man he didn't need a discount his dinner was on him. I just don't understand some people , we ask these men and women to give their lives up for us but when they come back alot are forgot.
A movie that shows the training and families before a deployment to a major battlefield and then the soldiers doing their best to stay alive horribly outnumbered by an enemies with years of actual combat experience. It keeps flashing back to the home base where taxis bring telegrams saying another soldier died. We Were Soldiers. Title from the line, " We we're soldiers once, and young"
growing up all the men in my life i looked up to was Vets. Hell i was born on a military base in Germany. from the time i was able to want to be something it was always an army guy. I am a 100% disabled combat Airborne Ranger. oh and yes i can trace my family all the way back to the civil war.
Soldiers do not fight because they hate who is in front of them. They fight because they love who is behind them.
Damn right
🧡 it
AMEN
Always true!
That was a beautiful statement 💕
