    Huli akong dumalaw dito ay LPPCHEA pa ang tawag. We were permitted to visit as part of our training as Cultural Mapping Facilitators under NCCA. Natural Heritage ang topic namin doon at dito kami bumisita. Nakakagulat na merong ganitong lugar sa Metro Manila. Sana makabisit muli ako. Ang ganda ng video nyo Celine at Dennis, astig kayo at ang video content nyo. Very different from other vloggers na ang ginawang bida ay sarili lamang nila na puro 'wala lang', at puro kagaguhan at kababawan. Sa inyo, knowledgeable kayo sa mga sinasabi nyo, lalo na kapag Scientific names na ang punto! Very Good! Di lang nakaka-relax, educational pa! Tama lang ang musical scoring. Commendable ang gawain nyong dalawa sa pagdocu ng ating mga saribuhay! Mabuhay kayo!

    New subscriber here! I admire your dedication po in educating the people about the importance of native flora and fauna. Indeed, we must protect and preserve our native biodiversity. I got to learn more about this din po since we are studying different native flora in our Site Planning and Landscaping subject. Kaya malaking tulong na rin po videos niyo sakin kasi mas natututo po ako at nakikita ko mismo yung mga puno't halaman. Thank you po!

    5:37 "Bolong" also means leaf in several Philippine languages.

      bolong also means wound remedy

    • @VidAudioJojo
      @VidAudioJojo 9 месяцев назад

      That's right. Its leaves are used as traditional medicine by several ethnolinguistic groups, not just the Aetas. I'm curious, master, saang probinsiya (bukod sa Katagalogan) ginagamit ang salitang "bolong" to mean wound remedy?

      “Bolong-eta”, judging from the words, is Tagalog, so perhaps the “namer” of the tree is either a Tagalog or knows the language. I also recently found out that “Bolong” in the Zambales-Aeta language is “leaf”, whisper is “ana-ana”.
      In the Bicolano, “bolong” or “bulong” is medicine/remedy.

      Yan din ang sabi sakin ng isang taga-Zambales. Pero ito ang kwento ng isang Aeta guide ayon sa librong Philippine Native Tree 202. If you want, I can send you a photo of the book and the part na sinasabi itong fact na to. Or you may check out the reel where there is a sceenshot of this book and section: vt.tiktok.com/ZSFS3xtvo/
