I'm sorry. I lost the project file for the thumbnail so it cant change it to another number. worked pretty well for bringing in the clicks though.
8: Yeah this is GOING to happen in the MAP.... but 2.21 is never happening
10: I actually had a conversation with an elder mod about this one, they told me that elder moderators would not want to be able to rate levels. I assume this is because it would become rate standards and rates would become very complicated and elder mods would be put under a lot of stress.
19: This aged VERY badly in a good way (viprin added every gd achievement to steam)
33: The joke is accidentally hacking a level without realising. thats what a red cheat indicator means.
44: I think that "Builder Points" sounds a bit tacky. Just abbreviate it to Crp. Or else you'll get weird looks and get banned off discord.
57: People can use geode to see your comment history without you having comments public. So just dont comment on unlisted levels.
58: This feature was omitted because it would interfere with camera triggers, but then why not just add an option to toggle camera controls in the editor?
59: Jumpers 1st coin is NOT the hardest coin AT ALL.. Its probably be something like ToE II second coin.
73: I know this is meant to "hide the coins" but it hides the coins WAY too much. Allowing the particles of the portals to be seen from the normal route would encourage the player to investigate it slightly more and result in finding the coin on their own; which is a lot more satisfying than whatever it is right now.
97 is DEFINETLY FALSE BUT this apparently has happened to my friends friend once though so thats how I got this info
Apart from that everything else is pretty much the same. I havent been uploading in a while because I'm currently doing some exams, but I WILL be back in maybe early-mid february with an extreme demon building documentary video.

Regarding 57, comment history bypass was patched. You shouldn’t upload anything private as just unlisted regardless, as people can easily scrape the IDs of unlisted levels - that’s why unlisted levels were changed to be friends only in 2019, until Rob was able to add a new button for it in 2.2
97: This one is only partially false. It’s not an automatic ban, but if you are found to have done so, you will be kicked and informed on how to reset your stats. If you rejoin without resetting them, you will be banned. Your friend’s friend probably admitted to being leaderboard banned in chat, not having known about this ridiculous rule
They added cbf with the “click between steps” addition in 2.208

My least favorite thing is when creators just put text that says “jump” or “don’t jump” instead of a spike. It’s really not that hard

Ik u probably won’t see this but platformer on mobile has by far the worse bugs gameplay wise. like automatically moving when u hold left or right long enough, or when u max jump clicking right or left doesnt do anything sometimes. Also everything has slight amount of ice physics.

THAT FIRST ONE IS SO TRUE, but the ice physics were patched very quick after the update came out so you just have a skill issue with that one.

the 2.2 percentage measures the % by using the time you're in the level compared to the verification time. That makes more sense for the player's perspective (in 2.1 it was the length, not time), but if the verification time is incorrect for some reason, it breaks and it't annoying sometimes!
Also if you verify the level again (for example from start pos), it calculates the time again and breaks it
usually the time breaks when the level is hacked or uses a secret way

It takes how long the creator took to beat the level, so if it has multiple ways to beat the level that take different anounts of times, it will look weird
I completely forgot robtop removed the follow player toggle. I remember being so pissed about that and now i don't even remember that luxery we used to have. I'm guessing it was done cuz it interfered with camera controls in the editor or smth.

5:26 this one annoyed me so much, I beat tears of denial and it took me 500 attempts because I thought there were no checkpoints due to me having disable checkpoints on, then when I finally figured it out I could beat platformer levels SO much easier

Honestly, the most annoying things for me is when they put jump pads in ship portals in a blind transition and I always fly straight into the ceiling💔

Creators need to know that they dont need to help player fly, cuz they can do it by themselves. Having the jump pad on portal really breaks the immersion.

sometimes if the percentage bar ends faster it means theres a secret way, it measures up to where the level was actually beaten
the thing is the end trigger is like stuff written with a pencil, even if you erase it it will still be there
basically if you put a end trigger and delete it the percentage will still be 100%

15:33 I think it's an bugged optimization thing. Under normal circumstances, a wave will travel in a straight line until the input state (whether you're holding or not) changes. So, instead of spawning a wave trail constantly, it just draws a long trail between changes-of-state, which bugs out with D-block behaviour.

Rob said the "Follow Player" feature was not working, if the level changes the way the player goes (uses arrow triggers and similar stuff), that's why he removed it

I've also had it happen with unreleased levels im making, and it only gets fixed after making a new level and copypasting the objects. Yes, copying the level directly doesnt work either.
Before 2.2, percentages was determined based on your position in the level, rather than time. It likely was replaced to time that way the percentages didn’t pause or randomly jump with vertical gameplay or teleport triggers.

One of the main pet peeves I have with Geometry Dash is that you can't search for levels in the search tab that specifically have the Stereo Madness song in it, since when you click the button for main songs, it automatically starts you with that song, so absolutely nothing happens if you don't click to the next main song
3:30I can't tell you how much I agree with this one. Back when 2.1 was out, looking for a specific song was incredibly easy because the song that was played the most recently would always appear at the top of your list. But in 2.2, it is now pretty much impossible, requiring you to play Where's Waldo before you can find it.
