He had some mountains to overcome when first taking over due to decades of the terrible liberal policies that were in place for decades. The person does not have to be found guilty in a court of law. Congress does not need to approve it. It is up to the individual Secretaries of State to refuse to put the name of Donald Trump, or any other member of Congress who participated in or aided and abetted the insurrection on the ballot.
