At the end of a hard week my treat is sitting down and watching your content. I love you guys and everything you do. The world needs more Eric and Ariels.
The view of the mountains during your ride was absolutely stunning. It’s so great that y’all are able to move just a little ( a lot )at a time instead of everything at once. That is such a great help to y’all. Boy was there some snow. The caribou at the end was awesome.
Glad to see Curly showed up to help pack up the trailer! He seems to show up only when there is fun to be had, so good to see him working for a change! So, can you eat the caribou?
@@doublerainbowsdoublerainbo7906 You can see some curly hair under his hat. I noticed it right away. I think it was put in to see of anyone would notice it! Yep most of us sure did. Way to go Eric.
Huge. Tip for getting poles and tents out of frozen ground. Rock salt, let it do the work for you. Once you have it out, rinse off to get salt residue off canvas.
Adds a new dimension to the expression: "Working your socks off". The amount of work and effort you put in just doing this move alone is amazing! I never thought I would have so much eager anticipation for what is coming next for you. The very best with your move and what the next months will bring. Much respect and admiration to you both and of course Bo and Bandit.
I’ve been waiting for this, I’m so excited for you guys. You work so hard, but I would rather work hard than be in a daily 9-5 grind. There is a freedom and peace of mind working for yourself that you don’t get working for someone else. You guys be careful and know that we are all supporting you, love to you both, the doggies, kitty, and chickens.
Watching you both work together makes you realize how awesome it is to have someone who's shares your goals , you always compliment each other and show appreciation for each other's accomplishments Eric did a great job with this Ariel did a great job making this you both are so kind to each other true soul mates .BEST CONTENT ON YOU TUBE
You guys work so hard! I’m so grateful and envious you found each other. I only wish I could find a partner who loves and respects me the way that you 2 do. Such a pleasure to watch you. 🥰
@Eric & Arielle THANKYOU !!!! How is it possible to sit here and watch you pack up your possessions and travel to your new home, abd enjoy it so much. You 2 are phenomenal in your energy & commitment. It's such a blessing to watch such a compatible couple go about their business with love & respect. Even if there's melt downs or aggravation off camera, the foundation of this marriage is as solid as a rock !!! You bless me every time I watch you in your videos. WHAT an adventure we are in for this Spring. Much love & encouragement from Australia 🇦🇺🤗💞🙏👏✌️👍😍🇺🇲
Prayers for your Dad and Grandmother. You look good Jared. I think you have finally found your peace :) You will have your dream herd one day. You have a great life ahead . You are such a good person. Peace.
Being excited about animal scat is the essence of the human experience, that’s what we love about you guys. Not so yippity bippity about the waist high snow, but we were very cheerful when a few flakes fell as we exited church this morning as it seemed so perfectly iconic of winter :) Cheers guys, super happy for your move and your future. The beauty there is breathtaking.
Eric’s save was so smooth! He knew, it was worse to lose the shot than to go face first into the snow 😂😂 good luck, yall ❤ I’m looking forward to seeing all your new new.
I agree with Deborah below. The world needs more of y'all!! Have been watching for long time and this new move seems to have totally reinvigorated the two of you. You both look physically younger.
You guys never quite...whether it's projects to make your life better, fishing, hunting, and exploring. It's good to do it while your young, and your bodies recover from injury a lot faster. Be careful, stay safe, and best wishes for your move and settling in to your new homestead! Thank you for allowing us to live vicariously through you and through your videos!
I appreciate that y'all never whine & complain!! Things happen, & you just keep smiling & working through it!! Thanks!! We just moved, so we understand what you're going through - exciting & tough!! 😵💫
Oh my gosh…that’s a boatload of snow to clear! Wow! Best of luck with the move. Excited to see what you do with your new, beautiful property and cabin!
You two are GREAT! Just remember, move is a four letter word! LOL Remember in the conex, vertical space is your friend. Think of something like your scaffold made out of 2x4's, about 2' X 8' x 6' tall. One on each side near the back with 2x4's going across at the highest shelf to keep them extremely stable. I made mine out of 2x4's and 3 1/2" plywood shelves on 2x4 frames with two cross braces and have not been concerned about how much I put on them. The bottom shelf sits on the floor for more stability. I think this is similar to what you had in the conex at the old place. Love your channel!
I can say that we all like your old (present) cabin, but I think we can all say that we have been waiting for this kind of vlog ever since you decided to make the move!! AWESOME Vlog today. LOVE the caribou!!!!
When I was in the hospital a few years ago, I was weak and unable to eat the unappealing food. My son brought me a bacon and tomato sandwich. It was so delicious. I always say that BLT saved my life.
Sooo enjoyed todays video! Thank you for all of the hard work you two do to make these happen! Love the new cabin and very exciting for the move but have to say I’ll miss the current place too. Ariel, hope your back is ok! Eric, you ROCK that wig! 😂
I just finished today watching back all your old videos after stumbling onto the channel a few weeks ago, and now I don’t know what I am going to do having to wait a week for a new video. But very happy I get to enjoy one today :). Love all your content!
Relationships are kind of like a Bob Ross painting - start w/ the outline, some basic colors, adjustments, some rules of the Art form (trust, integrity, compassion and empathy, patience, accepting imperfections etc etc.) and then what unfolds, after years of work that is always present, one arrives with a beautiful landscape that reflects not only the tapestry of individual brush strokes but what their joint painting creates along the journey. It also takes an element of idk if I'd call it lucky...But, an element of 'meant to be'. One is never too old to find such friendship gone ablaze.
From Sweden 🇸🇪 ... Started searching for planting videos because i find them calming at night and found this channel and could not stop whatching , i have been watching before and after work and cant stop .. you guys are amazing and your videos makes me feel im right there with you and i love it !! ❤
I am soooo excited for you both! The caribou are beautiful animals and catching them on the trail cam was so great. Can't wait to see what you two are doing in the coming months
A few weeks ago it was 60°F and I told everyone it was a false spring. They laughed, and this morning I woke up to 20°F 🤣 I'm so excited for the move! Good luck!
I love the old round washing machine. We had one in the 50' - 60's when it was finally replaced with a Maytag washer and dryer. The old round one had a wringer on it and us kids used to love to help run the clothes through the wringer. And, then outside to hang all up on the clothes lines. Great memories.
Awesome to see a protein source right at your front doorstep! Always a blessing when groceries come to you! Can’t wait to see what you do with the property over time! Remember, it’s a marathon not a sprint!😉
It's great to see your work. Difficult conditions. You have good tricks. You are good at planning ahead. A snow blower is really necessary. Difficult work becomes fun to do.

I know it’s a lot of hard work for you but I’m so excited for the two of you. Can’t wait to follow in your new adventure. Make sure you rest up in between. Good luck. Love you both. Take care. Give those puppies a hug for me. ✌️❤️🇺🇸
A low-ticket item for sometime when you have extra time (ha ha) is to mill some live-edge siding planks to install on that conex to camouflage it so that it doesn't look so industrial. Of course, your Quanset hut 'shop' is going to look out of place, too. I'm so happy for you that you're gonna have a HUGE kitchen, and a TABLE to sit down for meals. You mentioned bringing the chickens... are you planing on having a garden and/or a high-tunnel at the new homestead? I can't imagine y'all not growing your own food and canning it. That's 80% of the fun of your videos.
The view of the snow covered mountains as you began the trip…was absolutely breathtaking! I have a tremendous amount of admiration and respect for the work you did to make this trip happen. This will be a really exciting time over the next few months and I am looking forward to it. Stay safe friends and it would be nice if you could count on the help of a friend or two, you seem to have accumulated so much over few years! But knowing how well the two of you plan when taking on different projects I have nothing less than impressed with the way you are able to complete certain tasks. Until the next time.✌️👏

I am so happy for, and proud of you...Thanks so much for sharing this new adventure - this glimpse of your lives :) You are truly living your dreams. Not to mention all the fun and adventure you manage to have! Take good care of yourselves and stay safe and warm! Had to add that I love it when you include the outtakes at the end - they always make me laugh

Its one long, long time since I saw a washing machine with a mangle, Takes me back to the years after WW2, when my mother used to do the washing with a poss-tub, then have one of we three brothers wind the mangle handle while our Mom fed the clothes through before hanging them up to wind dry. You guys are amazing. I and my wife loves to watch you. I love Alaska for fishing for the mountains, wildlife and beautiful views. You guys are amazing!
Arielle, I’m with you with the back pain (I hauled too much soil around on my property in prep to extend my veggie garden and hightunnel reup! So I’ll remember the cure for back pain, that you mentioned 😅
Having a partner that loves doing what you love doing is a monumental achievement!
Only way for a happy long marriage
