Wow, Google Street view is super sketchy in your area. Missing a lot. I have 2 guesses at what they are doing. The ski resort might be letting them use the access roads to test, since it's closed and they can restrict access. More likely, I think they were hauling ass thru the 82. That road looks like a blast.
I hope they just have a lot of funky body panels on that to throw people off because if that even resembles its actual body lines that is not going to be a pretty car.
Yep, high altitude testing, very interesting. Everyone knows that Denver is called the "mile high city" what many don't know is that Leadville is the "two mile high city" or more properly "town". Ideal test site.
Thanks to all the ppl catching pics of the C8 in testing, ... but ... why is everyone "So" polite with these testers, and giving them some type embargo they haven't been adorned with? I mean, .. if I get a chance, I'm running along side you with my camera out the window trying to get a shot of the dash and everything! ... I'm following you into the hotel parking lot, and parking as close as possible to watch the door open! ... I'm slipping the poor bast*rd security guy a couple $20's, to let me lift that tarp at the corner, at about 3:00am when everyone's asleep! I mean, there's no law against taping a company doing secret testing on public roads and property! I mean, ..me and that ZR1 driver would have been swapping birds at each other before it was over, for sure!!!
It is very clear from this video and many others, that Chevrolet is still hiding an awful lot. In this video, it is pretty clear once the driver of the ZR1 realized there was filming taking place, he becomes a much more aggressively protective driver. By the sounds of things, it is my opinion as well, that the true sounds of these mules are also being camouflaged.
NeverTalkToCops1 What sales have that corvette lose? If anything they got more sales because the tail lights attract younger buyers to a car that old man mid life crisis mobile.
Great Blocking when needed❗👍👍 Still would have enjoyed a better look at what GM is not showing us! Why are they still Camouflaged, Next Years Go (really) Fast Corvette's! 👍🤪
I really wish someone from GM would just leak a real time photo of the damn C8 already! Enough BS camouflage and secrecy’s! They also need to do a Corvette “Refresh” on Stingray - Grand Sport - ZO6 -
As much as everyone wants that to happen, it wont be happening this time around. Other than simple leaks, no one will know what the car truly looks or sounds like until they are completely ready to lift the veil.
Bruce Fisher ...you’re joking right...really, a caddy. american needs another supercar. the vette would be perfect even they only offered it in ZR1 or ZO6 option, maybe a totally new option w/ twin turbos. c’mon chevy
radudeATL I saw mid-engined gm mules running around here nearly two years ago... Accompanied by a couple Vettes and about four Cadillac CTS-Vs.... This thing's a Cadillac....
This is a HUUUGE gamble by GM, axing the front engine/rear drive set up! I mean how are its buyers going to get their boilers down into the car and behind the wheel. I know this, the rumored 800 hp 5.5L DOHC TT w/ 200 hp worth of power to the front wheels (1000 HP) better be called the Zora, the man always wanted a mid-engined Corvette, this is his mic drop moment, looking down on things and hopefully looking down on the competition as well.
It'll be cool but I'm still no fan cramped 2 seaters w/ no way to put your seat back already. Porsche has shown its okay to move the engine back for more driver comfort & space even though they are going to more of a mid-engine designed too. Bottom line... I might buy one of these things if I actually fit. And I don't generally fit in Mid Engine Ferraris!
It would be nice to have an American car to finally rival Europeans super cars. Even if costs $ 300K at least we'd have something to cheer on as it beats out the best Europe has to offer.
If this follows the renderings, this car is going to look like a hot wheels car. Considering they will charge over $150k for this car, I really hope it doesn't look like a cheap, wannabe supercar. From what I can tell, the proportions of this car seem to be very awkward and not at all flattering to the eye. GM have been on a role with the styles on new cars but this and the new camaro might flop.
Why can't people deal with change? It's fine if you don't like it but I don't know why they'd go back. Corvettes used to be for old men but now a younger generation are taking an interest due to the changes and because of younger tubers.
I dont like the look of a mid engine car. I find the long hood and short rear much, much beautifull and sexy... To me, the vette ends in the 7 generation!
Knob Gobbler Chevrolet just released the ZR1. If history has taught us anything. The C7 is about to come to an end. So yes. This would be the C8 or closest thing to it.
GPS, "turn left"
"Nope"
"Turn left"
"Hell no"
"Turn left"
"No, groceries are low priority now"
"Turn left"
Forget the cars, Colorado with all its mountains is beautiful.
James Madison always love calling this place home
lol, I doubt anyone clicked on the video because of that.
mrpmj00 I must admit that I clicked because of the cars, but the scenery kept me engaged.
Ganja ,nice cars and women
High altitude testing, lots of this here in Colorado.. Pretty cool to see new cars roll through Colorado!
That is going to be one badass car.
0:02 thought my phone froze for a second. Lol
2:41 good move ! lol
He totally blocked me
Going to be wicked!
I’d follow that group all day long.
Hopefully they update to dual clutch.
Been hearing about it for so long
They purposely added the ZR1 to the mix, as it makes the loudest noise, so you won't be able to hear the C8's sound.
I expect an awd version. If you look at the c7 front hubs they are splined. GM's always producing streamlined parts.
c8 spotting in a Landcruiser, with those mountains and legal weed. Subbed
Brandon Hightower love my landcruiser! I’ll try to post some wheeling videos soon
I would have so busted up that PARADE and got right in there with the CAM
Wow, Google Street view is super sketchy in your area. Missing a lot.

Thank you!
I hope they just have a lot of funky body panels on that to throw people off because if that even resembles its actual body lines that is not going to be a pretty car.
She looks FAT and chubby. Like you said, I hope those are just funky body panels.
Wonder how the ZR1 compares to the C8.
Yep, high altitude testing, very interesting. Everyone knows that Denver is called the "mile high city" what many don't know is that Leadville is the "two mile high city" or more properly "town". Ideal test site.

Daryl Ireland lol same
Looks like GM is trying to work out any reliability issues with the C8 but they need to track it for real world testing results
About to get famous

Are those ROUND taillights on the mystery car? Corvette lost sales due to the nintendo game boy styling of recent corvette.
NeverTalkToCops1 What sales have that corvette lose? If anything they got more sales because the tail lights attract younger buyers to a car that old man mid life crisis mobile.
naked C8 to show up soon
Brake check @ 2:42
Got so excited you wrote text miles instead of test mules. Lol
All you had to do was pan right when you originally passed them 👎
Just from that quick glance, I can tell this car is going to look awkward... Please don't go back into bankruptcy GM!
Andrew Fallon it could be to throw off what is looks like
Great Blocking when needed❗👍👍 Still would have enjoyed a better look at what GM is not showing us! Why are they still Camouflaged, Next Years Go (really) Fast Corvette's! 👍🤪

HYDRA DYNAMIC shhhhhhhhhh
As much as everyone wants that to happen, it wont be happening this time around. Other than simple leaks, no one will know what the car truly looks or sounds like until they are completely ready to lift the veil.
Hopefully these don’t overheated! 🤞🏾
Why is it in Colorado if they are made in Bowling Green Kentucky?
BBDrums34 for real life testing at high altitudes and maybe for another reason, there are a lot of testing cars in Colorado
And about 30 years ago it was going to be a mid engine ROTARY Corvette.
MassacMongo99 more like 40 but yeah..... And Chevy's STILL not gonna build one.... That car's a Cadillac....
Bruce Fisher ...you’re joking right...really, a caddy. american needs another supercar. the vette would be perfect even they only offered it in ZR1 or ZO6 option, maybe a totally new option w/ twin turbos. c’mon chevy
I wish it was the Monte Carlo SS making a return.
So?! I saw a camouflaged BMW X7 in Denver!
Take THAT!
;-)
radudeATL I saw mid-engined gm mules running around here nearly two years ago... Accompanied by a couple Vettes and about four Cadillac CTS-Vs.... This thing's a Cadillac....
test miles? Did you mean "mules"?
Paul D lol yeah. Wow. Oops
Putting some miles on the mules :-)
1:04 TURN YOUR PHONE TO THE RIGHT!

Air Force academy :)
Chevy has been testing mid engine corvettes for decades. It does not mean it will be made.
Lol
And????
It would be nice to have an American car to finally rival Europeans super cars. Even if costs $ 300K at least we'd have something to cheer on as it beats out the best Europe has to offer.
bthvnyt viper zr1 zl1 1le and u can get all 3 for 300 grand
did you forget about Saleen S7 ,Ford GT and Mosler ?
bthvnyt what about the Ford GT
If this follows the renderings, this car is going to look like a hot wheels car. Considering they will charge over $150k for this car, I really hope it doesn't look like a cheap, wannabe supercar.

Andrew Fallon it could be to throw off the spy pics
Andrew Fallon the 2018 is the most curved camaro I want , the 2019s are way too curvy
That c7 rear end can't end soon enough!
B Dun: Love the C7 rear end... it's f&@$ing badass. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!
Angel ECU buy three of them then!
Why can't people deal with change? It's fine if you don't like it but I don't know why they'd go back. Corvettes used to be for old men but now a younger generation are taking an interest due to the changes and because of younger tubers.

Sabino Berenguer Berenguer I have found a fellow human
Who likes what I like
Wasted my time.
Keep drooling.... It's not a Vette.... It's a Cadillac.... And maybe a lower-priced Buick version.... ZR1 will remain the top dog Vette.....😏🇺🇸
I would have liked it if I didn't have to watch it with the bs words on the screen the whole time 👎
YOUR WATERMARK IS BLOCKING THE VIEW. PUT IT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN.
new tesla roadster will smash this pos! 😎
Car hipsters calling it the C8 who dont know shit about corvettes
Knob Gobbler except I own a c5 z06 lol
Knob Gobbler It is the c8.
Knob Gobbler Chevrolet just released the ZR1. If history has taught us anything. The C7 is about to come to an end. So yes. This would be the C8 or closest thing to it.
History says Zr1's are produced for 3-4 years before the next generation vette releases...
John Dessire it's a Cadillac
