Based on what I've understood sa snowball sampling, a researcher will have their respondents from the referral of the previous respondent. It'll keep coming until the research is somehow fulfilled. For those who are still confused about the stratified and cluster sampling: in stratified, the population is divided according to their corresponding category meaning they have something common in general. For cluster sampling, the population is divided into smaller group and the researchers will pick a cluster in which all the members of that group will now be then become respondents.
