Parfums De Marly.. now you are in my wheelhouse. I have every masculine and unisex perfume they have ever made. I also attended their master class which included, i believe 6 of what they call their feminine line. I tried hard to get the wifey to get excited by them but she is not a frag head. Long story short. I recommend you try cassilli first instead of Delina. Fruity.. with pastel flowers and smooth as silk. It also has vanilla (which i love like you do,) and woods. Perfectly blended and absolutely beautiful. I bought a bunch a testers from Lattafa pride line to and you are right. This a great clone. Another solid one for women is Lattafa Afaq. Another floral fruity nice for price for sure. I am a gourmand lover right now, and secure enough to try fem leaning scents. Lol. Thanks for taking the time to interact with peeps. I appreciate that!!
Yay! Can't wait to truly explore these! I sure have tried Cassili, it was a Love at first wear! 🤗 I have tried it up against Be Layered's dupe version Bella the Irresistible which is less refined but also enjoyable.

I have a back up of Ansaam gold lol. I also layer it with Magnetic Candy! We must have similar noses! Magnetic Candy projects well for sure. I also picked up Vibrant Orange and Neroli by Paris Corner to layer with Magnetic candy. If you like Angel Nova by chance, I’d suggest getting your nose on Alive Now (weird name) by Maison Alhambra. It’s virtually identical to Angel Nova but I enjoy the drydown of Alive Now better! I layer that one with Ansaam Gold too. Thanks for sharing!
Magnetic Candy was such a surprise for me, became a love quickly!! Can't say the same for Angel Nova unfortunately. I blind bought it and it didn't work out, but so many people enjoy it!! How blessed your nose is to have jived with it!! I have a little Mugler collection and enjoy most of his offerings!💕
Oh, SO many houses to go over! Of COURSE PDM!!!! I'd also be interested in learing more about Shay and Blue (SOTD Watermelon), Eight and Bob, and the ever so pricey Penhaligon's! BTW, your top is beautiful. Is it new? You look great in pink!

I just got ANSAAM GOLD today 🎉❤😊 I love it! I bought it because I heard it smelled like the popular Killian’s LDBS. I’ve never actually smelled LDBS, but I’m happy with my purchase of Lattafa’s version ❤

Just Ordered a sample of ansaam gold , does it smell like melodie d’orientica?
Melodie is an inspo of Memo Sintra. That one has a dirty neroli opening and some candied florals. A lot of people do compare love don't be shy by Killian with Oriana as well because of the orange blossom.

Love the matching Oriana bottle outfit 💕💖 I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Delinas. La Rosee is my favorite for spring/summer with the watery rose 🌹 and Exclusif is my fall/winter fave and really goes the distance on its own. I have dupes of the original, including a big bottle of oil from Oil Perfumery that I drop into my lotion/body cream when wearing with any of them. Always gets a lot of compliments. Cassili to me is underrated, and even though it doesn’t have a peach note smells exactly like the bottle looks - like a creamy peach 🍑 I want to try some of the ones marketed to men - have heard a few women reviewers say Herod and Carlisle are actually unisex enough that women can easily wear them without someone thinking you fell into a bottle of aftershave.

I agree 💯 with your Cassili description! I have always imagined there's a fantasy peach note in there somewhere and I don't even own the bottle, just a travel spray. Can't wait to try the Delina's after hearing so much about them!! I got a hold of Pegasus because I've always been so curious! Hope I don't fall in a bottle of aftershave!!🤣

Well that sounds wonderful! The orange in Sundazed and the opening to Oriana smells so synthetic to me, but I can't help but Love it!😄

Oriana sounds less sweet than I imagined. I thought it was a sugary marshmallow scent with a whiff of orange.

I have that in my cart from LUXSB subscription, sounds like a nice soft scent.
It's very sweet, but also has some fresh citrus and floral. Some people get more sweet marshmallow and an actual cream type scent, but I sadly don't. I don't mind adding Delizia Di Marshmallow for that effect though. 💕

Hola Janelle and ladies of the Fragrance Closet :) I am so happy to see you taking care of yourself in this moment of your life. I was also just thinking if you have a decant or a bottle (?) Of Xerjoff Ouverture. Yes, this is the uber-mentioned Demi Fragrance. I have a small sample and it is growing on me. The opening: creamy almost borderline fermented milky fruits is everything to me, but I am learning to understand the base notes (woody to my brain). Maybe I get a 10 mil decant but really keen on knowing your opinion.

Oohhh, Ouverature I actually own a 50ml bottle of! It's one of the scents that captivated me during my first Xerjoff week. I don't think we have a proper review yet on the channel, so I'm excited to re-visit. The scent profile smells very nostalgic to me. Like the church pews at Christmas time, with a lot of sophistication.😊

Well the notes have caramel candy, praline, tonka bean think vanilla according to fragrancenet. It sounds sweet gourmand to me
For Parfums de Marly, I’m interested in hearing more about that new lemony one by Quentin Bische. I can’t think of the name. I even tried to look it up. Anyway, you may know the one.
I also want to know more about new Genre fragrances. Have you tried ginger-esqué? It sounds delicious!
Valaya is the new one I believe. I do have a sample of it, it's primarily a white floral which is not my jam, but I'm going to test it out for everyone for sure! I trust PDM! Lol 😆

There’s a white glass looking bottle that just came out from Perfumes de Marley that I think I saw a review for but I think they said it was a laundry scent. I think Oriana is the one I’d like to smell and compare to KLDBS to see which I’d prefer.

I bought a decant of Ansaam gold and the opening is awful, but the dry down is very similar to Oriana. However, to me Oriana has a bit more of body while Ansaam gold is mostly the Marshmallow part of Oriana. Also on me Ansaam gold lasts about 4hs before becoming a skin scent. I think the very nature of the scent is rather light.
I got an off-putting scent in the opening as well, I swear it's the paint on the bottle though because the plastic samples I bought didn't have that opening.

I have among the clouds and also received ansaam gold today so I’m super excited to layer! Was wondering, I have D&G pour femme and it’s a marshmallow fragrance do you think layering that will work??
Nice!! Enjoy! 🤗💕 I don't see why not. I would pair it as well! If I was in the mood for a more "fresh and floral" perfume feel than Gourmand, I would go for the Pour Femme, but I would probably add Kyse Delizia Di Marshmallow also.😁

I've been soooo dying to try Meliora!! I have a Genre Parfums dupe called Conplexion, so I'm going to test it side by side with that!
From Nishane I think I've only reviewed Ani, but I have Hundred Silent Ways and Wulong Cha also that I've been wanting to try!
I have Meliora and it’s been said Lalique Amethyst (which actually comes from the same perfumer) smells very similar. But to my nose Gingham Love from Bath and Body Works is a 90% match. They have a lot of similar notes with the red berry notes being the most obvious. Side by side, the florals in Meliora - especially the lily - come through more prominently, while Gingham Love the berries/fruitiness in the opening are stronger and more present throughout. I don’t get great performance on skin from Meliora and I like the fruitiness more than the florals, so while I love the bottle and the overall scent profile I wouldn’t repurchase. B&BW does make Gingham Love in an EDP concentration, so that could be an actual perfume strength alternative as well.
Oohhh NOOOO!!! 🫣 I'm not gonna lie here, I just returned both original Gingham and one backup set of Gingham Love because it's not my favorite even though the bottle is gorgeous! I exchanged it for a backup of Gingham Gorgeous actually, lol. I don't do Lily too well and I admittedly haven't checked out the notes for Meliora. What I am especially excited for is my dupe from Genre Parfums called Conplexion which I'm almost positive will take care of the longevity and strength issue. So interesting all of this fragrance stuff! 🥰
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset 😶 don't tell anyone I'm the one who told you about the similarities 😂 I don't want the fragrance girlies coming after me if it makes you push Meliora further down on the list of scents to test. But yeah, I just sprayed Meliora on one hand and Gingham Love body spray on the other, and the GL body spray is slightly stronger an hour later.

I’m actually very interested in getting my nose on Herod. I finally received my Bianco Latte yesterday (thank you for the recommendation btw!) from what I’ve heard it seems like the two of those frags would be nice layered together..

For CocoaPink there's no way I can choose just one, loving to layer different scents with different perfumes! One of my favorites by them is Cotton Candy Dreams.
Mile High 38 is an amazing pineapple musk, very long lasting and projecting and all that, I highly recommend Genre Parfums Version called Dopamine, it was just as good.🤗

No, it behaves very similar to the original Oriana, so I don't think so.

Thank you!! Oohhh, Delina is one I'm also very curious about! I remember testing it prior to the pandemic, so it must have been early 2020. I own Be Layered's dupe First Kiss, but I've never tried them side by side! Waayy overdue.😄
