How do you dislike a video that depicts Kumasi for what it really is … Beautiful filled with nostalgic memories for many Ghanaians. Let me continue enjoying my egushi stew in peace whilst binging on these vlogs
After watching your videos I got more familiar with people and customs of Ghanaians.I wish I would be able to go there and experience new adventures .I love the hospitality of the people, the food looks so tempting.
"Almost all the noblest things that have been achived in the world, have been achived by poor men; poor scholars, poor professional men, poor artisans and artists, poor philosophers, poets, and men of genius." The craft village is magnificent. Happy adventures in Ghana! Cheers, Domenico.
There is no love sincerer than the love of food. Sharing food with another human being is an intimate act that should not be indulged in lightly. Love from Korea🇰🇷💕
@@Davidsbeenhere yaaaaaay, David! I knew u would come back. That's the Ghanaian effect! Ghana has that IT factor...The "hard to put your finger on it", but u just want to have more. Yeah, that effect! U are such a hard worker Dave! Much respect for u!
Egusi( palaver source)is stew for Ghanaians but not soup. We eat palaver source with plantains, yam, cocoyam, rice but we don't eat egusi (palaver source)with fufu like some countries call stew as soup.
Thanks for sharing, this is another thing I have learned about Ghana. In Nigeria we have egusi "soup" (called "stew" in Ghana) with some sort of "swallow"/fufu.
Thanks David. I really appreciate you showing our beautiful Ghanaian culture. You are not pretentious, and it's obvious that you genuinely enjoy our street foods. Proud of you "bro". You've earned the moniker
Im speechless to see d craftsmanship. D africans r really blessed wit great great talents no wonder they hv made many countries around d world Proud in d field of sports also.
At 5:13, the wooden board with holes looks quite similar to "congkak", used for a traditional game from Malaysia. Just cannot believe that halfway across the globe, there is another quite similar traditional game.
David the craftwork you purchased was a true steal for the amount you paid. No way had you bought the stuff in the US would it have been so cheap. It took many hours of labor to produce these carvings
Yo David the least you could do is pay the full price for the beautiful art work. The prices these gentlemen were asking for were very reasonable. Those few dollars you saved would do a lot more for these guys.
You are a real Ghanaian ehhh, the way u eating the palm oil...u love the food.... loving this video great show of crafts and craftsmanship. Keep up the good content.
Como é a diversidade cultural no mundo. Eu sou brasileiro e não me vejo comendo com as mão em nem um lugar, com certeza em uma viagem dessas eu levaria meus talheres, Garfo, faca e uma colher.
Quick plug for "British Airways" dropped in. The problem with the craft section is that all the carvers are in the same area. It must be hard to make sales as competition is stiff.
@@Davidsbeenhere Yeah, it was unobtrusive. If the plug had been followed by a stream of sexy ladies holding banners for "British Airways" and singing about the virtues of British Airways, then that would have been inappropriate. Thanks for your reply.
I love watching your Ghana tour so much, thanks a bunch for sharing all the goodness. I felt like I just travelled with you. I just had to subscribe :) to your channel. And you don't force anyone to subscribe like others, luv your chill personality. I watched at least 5 videos tonight. I can't be stop lol. The images, the sound, your respect you showed to the local and all else etc...and the love you seems to have towards the culture. It's just so exciting to watch . I've seen you through Mark wiens videos. But you are one of my other fav now. I like the way you comment while you eat, makes me hungry man although I'm a vegan lol. I just became a fan. Blessings to you and yours !!
I would love to visit there is one of my dream places to come to. I did a DNA test and come to find out that I’m 87% West Africa so that gives me another reason to want to come visit.

Yea the arts an crafts are very nice
The seed is pumpkin seed branded together by with cocoyam leaves, palava source
Incredible these sculptures must be empowered by the government. They need to compete in the international market
Eeeeeeeehi my only problem is that the area must be kept clean
Yes David, it’s spinach 😘
No it is called kontomire ( cocoyam leaves)
Como é a diversidade cultural no mundo. Eu sou brasileiro e não me vejo comendo com as mão em nem um lugar, com certeza em uma viagem dessas eu levaria meus talheres, Garfo, faca e uma colher.
