- In Europe, we always hear that becoming a Pilot is a huge financial investment, limited only for the rich kids!
People have recommended Cadet Programs numerous times and I want to tell you 5 truths them.

I'm a Cadet on a large Greek Airline. I have nothing but positive things to say about the programme. After the selection, the airline insisted on us getting finished with the whole ATPL theory before the actual flights. They are a bit tough on grades as the normal EASA minimum pass mark is 75% but for our airline it is 80%. The people from the airline responsible for us cadets visit us quite frequently at the flight school they sent us and steadily monitor our paths and progress. There where also discussions about visits at the airline's operations center, maintenance facilities and an actual observer flight so that we can see how everyday operations will be, but this is still being scheduled.
If your countrie's airlines have a cadet programme, PLEASE consider joining it as it is a HUGE opportunity especially now where the aviation industry is growing exponentially.

💯 most of the cadet programs fees are deducted from the salary through a number of years. Well said there is no such thing as free but it does help if you don’t have the whole cash 😎
