I think it can be about not knowing him true self and wanting a different gift.All the others have gifts that reflect there personalities and he feels like that the only time people need him is when hes shapeshifted into someone else.Thats why mirabel get the line "all i need is a chance"because she needs a chance to show she is special without a gift and camilo gets the line "all i need is a change"because he wants a change in his gift and how people see him.

Not Camilo turning into Fnaf characters /J
Every character had a major impact or conversation with Mirabel in the film...Except Camilo. In fact, he is literally only speaks in 'We don't talk about Bruno', and is only used for comedic relief until 'All of you' where he has one line. Camilo is criminally underrated, and if Encanto 2 ever comes out, I want him to team up with Mirabel for a majority of the film, or just straight up be the protagonist.

honestly, i have no idea🙃 im sorry if u dislike it-
Camilos gift is shapeshifting Mirabel doesn't have a gift and the reason Camilo is in this is because he can't find his true self and he would either rather have another gift that isn't shapeshifting or just have no gift whatsoever. Mirabel is in this song for two reasons:
1: she wants a gift to be good enough for Abuela (Thier grandma)
2: she was the one who sung it
Camilo is waiting for a NEW Miracle so he can find his true self.
