  • It’s not easy to find a good investment property in today’s market. Prices and mortgage rates are high, and it can be really difficult to make the numbers work. As a lifelong Californian, Kathy has learned this lesson. It’s just too expensive in California to invest here. So 20 years ago, she started looking in other states and had to evaluate realtors, property managers, renovation teams, and others. With the experience she gained, she launched RealWealth with her husband, Rich, to help other investors find rental properties, and they now have great systems in place to find the best property teams in strong but affordable growth markets.
As a more recent addition to the RealWealth crew is a husband-and-wife team who are experienced investors themselves, and are now traveling the country in an RV to vet property teams for our RealWealth investors. Rebekah and Grant have bought, sold and 1031 exchanged all kinds of real estate including single family rentals, short-term rentals, and fix-and-flips. Rebekah was also a real estate agent with her own brokerage, specializing in helping investors buy and sell their properties. Grant bought his first home in college and rented out rooms to friends. Since then, he’s bought many rental properties using the BRRRR method which stands for buy, rehab, rent, refinance, and repeat.
In this episode, you’ll hear about our vetting process, the standards we’ve set for renovations and property management, how builders are giving our investors great deals on properties and loans, and how we maintain that level of quality with our property teams. You’ll even hear about Grant and Rebekah’s unique work/travel situation, and about Chattanooga as one of our newest markets, although it’s still in the vetting process so it’s not yet on our website. If you are a RealWealth member, speak with your RealWealth investment counselor for more information. Until we’ve finished the vetting process, we are recommending Chattanooga for experienced investors only.
If you'd like to find out more about the teams that we have vetted at RealWealth, go to our website. It's free to join and talk to an investment counselor.

I did not connect that buying down the rate to keep the comps high is good thing for the builder. I am always learning from you.

Love this show. I hope that you have seen me loving the other show as well. I have gone from homeless to financially free thanks to Bigger Pockets. I retired early on a low income thanks to your advice. I will someday invest in your syndications.

I did see a mark up with a competitor and it turned me off.
