Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Video of Arrest of alleged purse and car thief

On December 8, 2023, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Aviation, K9, and Patrol Units worked together to arrest a man accused of stealing a vehicle two days earlier. Luis Anibal Mosquera allegedly stole a victim’s purse and used the key to unlock the victim’s car before driving away with it.
Detectives were able to locate the suspect who was still driving the stolen vehicle. The Aviation Unit tracked the suspect as authorities placed him under arrest. This is the video of Mosquera’s arrest.
