Yas going very political over several topics and confronting the listener with very deep lyrics. He's not just the king of persian rap, he's the king of metaphors at the same time. His lyrics are often that much cryptic that I can't figure out the meaning behind his words. A lot of things seem to go wrong in this world according to Yas: Especially with the iranian government and the music industry in general. There's so much fake music out there, but Yas stays a real one.

In persian literature, parrot symbolize someone who just repeats other people's words without understanding the meaning of them. We also use the expression "tooti var" that means "parrotlike" -memorizing or repeating something without realizing it.

I thought I could list a few topics he insists of in his raps. they are like rap, Iranian Rap, Iranian rap music and art market, recording companies and agents, politics mainly art related politics and inequality in all these, then he tries to describe himself and his art being pushed down by all these and yet growing strong. keep up the good work.

Hey my German brother. Good job on reactions mate. I feel you brother. it's hard to understand it from the subs. Specially since a lot of it is literal translation, which is never a wise thing to do unless you know both languages fluently. Basically, a lot of metaphors in there and the translator should've either used an equivalent English metaphor or at least, terms with references to the common spoken english that would make scene to an ordinary person reading it.
Therefore, unfortunately it wasn't able to correctly and effectively convey the intended message of the clip which in short, is in relation to how art has become industrialized and it's loosing it's originality and rightful purpose as an art form, regardless of its place of origin. How the influential entertainment industry, has negatively engineered or brainwashed or made them get used to or accept what they offer as music, since the record producing companies have no concerns regarding the art itself, with profit margins being their only objective, they choose whom to promote and those whom accept, accept becoming nothing but puppets with good voices and no substance, only a mouthpiece to be used and abused by the corporations, in return for a shortcut to obtaining fame and money. In addition, YAS points out that even then, they are being used and abused and milked by the companies since they have the power and control over the industry and they set the rules and regulations. Subsequently, not only the art is being destroyed, but unfortunately the listeners competence and understanding of quality art is also being degraded in a systematic manner, accordingly. YAS is promoting the integrity and self reliance and the resilience required in this platform in order to be a true and genuine artist capable of producing worthy matterials for the worthy lovers of true art, whilst at the same time, trying to warn the audience of the trans like state of mind they have been hypnotized into, trying to wake them up to this fact and pointing to them that they are a part of both the problem and the solution. He's taken the position of the Wise saviour in relation to both the art and the artists, and the consumers alike, against the evils of the corporate entertainment industry.

This song is actually protesting against the recognition of rap in Iran, but on the other hand, very low-level pop singers who have only lost a love and a beautiful voice .... Being a rapper here means that you have to produce a song. You have to spend a lot of money and have no income ... only if you are not imprisoned for your art ... Yas has only one goal, and that is to bring Persian rap to where it deserves

Not to discredit the translator but the problem is they're most of the times too literal. They need a bit more explanation for people that don't speak farsi. I make subtitles myself. It has helped Iranians work through their Iranian Identity as it crosses Islam. This is the main reason his lyrics seem dark and cynical to non Iranians.
