Can we all just collectively agree that this is Chopper's best fight by a MILE? Even when ignoring the Monster Point section of it, Chopper was unbelievably badass in this arc. That leather jacket looked great on him and the fact that he's essentially a kid yet has the guts to stand up against an agent of the worlds main government tasked to kill him is commendable. Plus, Chopper breaking through Kumadori's Tekkai Gou with his Kokutei Roseo Michieri is one of the highpoints for me.
Ussop had a few amazing moments. Definitely burning the World Government Flag is iconic. But, when he sniped+shot the keys across the water I was hype! Ussop saving the day.

This one Everytime I hear this opening song, I get goosebumps. And after that best opening is Hope..! And this song reminds me how huge journey it was completing those 800 episodes.! This is like 280 around.
This is one of the last times the Straw Hats could just walk in and have a standoff, the New World is just completely different, stealth is key now. If they do barge into a New World battle, they usually have a decent amount of help.
And they got their asses handed to them several times. Never said they would use the key. I wouldn't call Whole Cake a "standoff" if they had done that, they'd be dead. Let's not forget that they sincerely tried stealth first.

My favourite opening song and the best one. This hyped me up so much especially when they got to Enies Lobby to get Robin back. This arc is my favourite so far as it showcased each of their strength. They all fought so hard for their nakama and it honestly made me wish I have a nakama like them. On that part 1:11-1:14, when they all stood beside each other in front of Robin with tears in her eyes, IT WAS THE BEST. This show is honestly EPIC. Periodt.

How I got started on this series was just plain weird. This takes place when the "Dressrosa Arc" was going on. I was going to, medical school at the time. One day me, and at the time, girlfriend Jessica were driving and stopped at a Red Light. She tried getting me started on Anime a few times before this but I just didn't care for it. We were at this Red Light and she was watching One Pice one her phone. The light changed to Green and I'm trying to drive. All the sudden I start hearing "Mingo, Mingo" and I had to pull into a parking lot to get my laughing under controll and so she could show me what the hell was going on. She didn't know what was going on. For regular fans "Mingo" was just more of Luffy renaming people. For me it was something different. In the medical world "Mingo" is the Latin word used for "Pee/Piss." So I'm hearing someone screaming "Piss, Piss". After I got over that I was going to chalk it up to a "that was weird" and stop watching it. Than I ran into "Dr. Chopper". After that I started watching it to see what other weird stuff was in this. As I was doing that I was slowly getting pulled into the shows plot.
Water 7/Enies Lobby are forever two of my top favorite arcs 💪🏼💪🏼🙌🏼 the music, the fights, the emotions, the up-grades they all achieved were just so incredible 😎
I never really watched One Piece but my big sister is still a huge fan and my father was a fan during the first seasons, so during our long roadtrips in family, we always listened to this masterpiece and now, listening to this brings so much nostalgia, when times were harder but simpler. I don't really miss this part of my life, but I really feel like this op is one my truest connections with my younger self, if this makes sense? I changed a lot but liking this song never will. I'm kind of proud to say that I have always had an incredible music taste ;)
When I finished watching this for the first time, I watched it again 2 times cause I wanted to be sure if I could have said properly that this is my fav arc in anime history and one of the best in anime. 11/10.

Basically this song is so cool that it showed full Ennis lobby arc in just 4 minutes whereas it takes 10-15 episodes.
I loved this arc cause every menber of the crew pulled their weight and it wasn't just luffy, sanji and zoro unlike arcs that came after where chopper, nami and brook did fuck all
