I am a LeonardPenny shipper, but Penny brings out the hilarious craziness out of Sheldon. They have a real brother/sister relationship. Jim Parsons is definitely one of the best out of TV comedy ever.
That little eye twitch Sheldon does at 1:08 when Penny says that she will play the part of Spock reminded me of the eye twitch the Joker did in The Dark Knight when one of the mobsters called him crazy. That made me think of the episode in which Leonard said that Sheldon was "one lab accident away from being a super villain".😀
Leonard thinks Sheldon is one lab accident away from a supervillain!? Wasn't it Leonard who started messing around with unstable chemicals in his apartment after a break up resulting in the elevator blowing up? I think we know which of them is more likely to go supervillain after a lab accident especially since Leonard is the one whose lab accidents are actually dangerous.

A lab accident is only likely to fix one of those, meaning he’d still be a bigger nice guy than the man of steel, who can decimate planets quicker than a fleet of Death Stars but still refuses to kill under any circumstances…. So, lab accident and superpowers, maybe, supervillain, no way in hell.
It is so sweet that Penny understand him by saying "It is only logical". Even "High intelligence upper human being" Sheldon can't deny her request. In a way Penny always outsmart Sheldon, and Sheldon accepted it.
Having watched Young Sheldon, I can honestly say Mary and George both had no clue what to do with Sheldon most of the time but did their best!! This scene was actually so touching. You can tell how much Sheldon still loves his mom.
He's so alienated, that he finds strength in pretending not to. He'd rather be the sociopath people think he is. But you can't fake that forever if you're just not. And he loves his family.

I love how Penny acts as the straight man to Sheldon’s pure craziness. Both actors are very talented and, while Jim Parsons had plenty of chances to shine, they rarely gave Kaley Cuoco the opportunity. Now she’s not only voicing Harley Quinn, but she’s on The Flight Attendant which I’ve never seen but I’ve heard that it’s really giving her a chance to let her talent shine.
Actually the flight attendant was Kaley's idea to buy the rights of the book before it even got published so she could do a tv series based on it, she even basically directed a lot of scenes and mange to finish filing even with the pandemic starting. She's a beast

Jesus, the end of this scene was kinda dark. I know that there is a mindless laugh track going off every 2 seconds, but Sheldon just got triggered to re-enact some sort of emotional trauma from his childhood. This was actually really cool insight into the character.
Yeah I'm a psychologist and this is actually similar to some of our therapeutic methods. You see how him acting as his mother, expressing love for her son, leads to an emotional breakthrough for him, and perhaps also provides insight (not that they would stress that too much in a sitcom, of course).
Yup, that trauma is probably him leaving his confort zone (his mother and loved ones) to live alone and study in germany. Notice how he later in life regrets going alone at such young age to another country thinking he wouldn't need his family because he's an emotionless robot when in reality he's capable of having feelings just like everyone else
@@ItachiSharinganDN He went to Germany with his mom.... The thing is that he imagined losing his family when he didn't think of it before. I think it's less trauma and more a childish fear. Like, when I saw the movie AI and imagined my own family dying (note, all of them were alive at the time) scared me and made me cry.... Kids can be sensitive like that. They won't think of scary things in the future, but the moment they imagine it, it scares them.
this types of scene makes this series so great. the last 2 mins tells us actually thr deep dark and difficult life Sheldon grew up with during childhood, being "different" . A deep emotional scene done with the right amount of humor 😢

I like how penny quickly realizes how bad Sheldon's mindset got and provided the only possible remedy she could think of with no hesitation. Only your best friend can do this.
This moment of hesitation after Penny suggests flipping the roles and before Sheldon agrees "Very well..." contains so much emotion until he decides that he really should leave his comfort zone and trust(!) Penny to go with him to an unforseeable(!) adventure. Noone but Penny could have pulled this off.

There's a VAST difference between wisdom (Penny) And intelligence (Sheldon). Intelligence is being able to explain how and why it rains, wisdom is understanding that you should come in OUT of it.
Sheldon has a special kind of love for me. It’s not love love but it’s a mix of the love you feel when you see a s sick orphaned kitten and the love you feel when you flush a stink bug down the toilet… I don’t know how else to describe it, so that seems as close as I can get 😂😂😬🤨
I never got into this show, in spite of being a Star Trek nerd who gets and fully appreciates the joke at my expense. But damn, if these two didn’t earn every cent of their extravagant pay in this scene. And I should know: I worked in the Payroll Department at Warner Brothers and personally wrote Kelly Cuoco a huge bonus check to replace the one she or one of her people had managed to lose. (When I asked my manager how such a thing could happen, she just looked at me and said, “Welcome to show business.”)

Ok fans you’ve watched the whole long wonderful series. Watched the characters grow and everyone developed and we all laughed and loved. NOW rewatching notice how penny starts as a young beautiful woman with a dream of acting. She has a sarcastic remark, heart of gold, drinks somewhat, and even has friends………. LATER she will have only sarcasm and alcohol…. And a heart. :) Everyone else grew but poor penny’s character was just worn down… :(
