I think Mike and his friends where pre teens when the thing with Jason happened. And was already a full teenager when Elizabeth died. But yeah I too absolutely love the desings they look so realistic, not such crazy outfits, they're just minimalistic outfits they feel real.

Crying Child doesn't have a canon name so there's no "mostly canon" for naming him "Evan". Keeping it mostly canon would be censoring his name all together since "crying Child" is a game mechanic to hide his real name

I mean, name him what you want and You're allowed to have your stuff based on the games/books/movie(s), but it doesn't mean Crying Child and Gareth are the same person since in the movie William Afton isn't even the father of Michael Afton, unlike how it is the games. Haven't read the Silver Eyes books but I don't even think the Afton kids exist in them, so there is no "canon" based off the books and movie(s) when talking about the game's lore, as they are all separate.

In my AU, William used to care a lot for his kids. After his wife died, he started his project on immortality because he loved his kids and had a big fear of loosing the people he loves. That also caused him to work more in order to achieve his goals, leading Michael to have o take care of his siblings. William also purposely caused Elizabeth, Evan(CC) and Michael to die. That’s my AU. I love your AU tho!
