I never understood how a narrow strip of cloth in which the damsel can clench in their teeth, served any meaningful purpose in silencing or constraining their ability to communicate.

As the smiling Catwoman approached the tied up Batgirl in the cat lair, I wish we could have seen how the Villainess transported the Superheroine there. It had to be in Catwoman's "Kitty Car" and she must have carried her over the shoulder after spraying her with sleep spray in the ladies dressing room!
Eartha Kitt played a better Catwoman than Julie Newmar did even though Julie played her role fantastic as well too but Eartha had that more of a cat purr sound than Julie did n also Yvonne Craig played Batgirl fantastically outstanding n too bad she wasn't able to meet Julie Newmar but she met Eartha Kitt n this Batman classic was marvelous.
After all, who better to play Catwoman that someone named Eartha "Kitt". She was born to play the role. Orson Welles was mesmerized by her presence and her unique allure. It's just too bad that the producers of the show had to water down the overt sexual tension between her and Batman, the racist audiences of the day probably would have burnt down the studio.
If this was real; Catwoman would strip Batgirl of her sexy jumpsuit and add it to her Catwoman competitive jumpsuit wardrobe plus it would also be a " trophy " outfit !
I didn't like the part when Batgirl was threatened by the radial arm saw, but I liked the part when she was picked up and carried. I myself wouldn't have had her bound and gagged.
Catwoman was at her happiest when she felt that there was a chance to eliminate the brave and young crimefighter for good, and unfair fighting made no difference.
