For me I think playing for the win > playing for kills /KD is the best way to stay consistent. For example, I would much rather have a bottom fragging duelist who does a good job entry fragging picking up a kill here or there while getting traded by their team and taking map control to win the round than a top fragging baiting duelist who flanks/lurks every round or waits for the team to push in first, pick up a kill or 2 then lose the round anyways. KD is the easiest thing to inflate in a match and does not truly show the impact a player brings. (Unless its like an absolute insane carry and you win). The way I found to consistently win games is to play smart, for the win, and using util effectively. Don’t get me wrong if someone is doing absurdly bad like going 0-9 at half then yeah they’re probably doing something wrong. But don’t just go “oh this guy is at the bottom going 5-8 he’s obviously the reason we’re losing”.
This is me, I'm that bottom fragger. I have a good understanding of tactics, mind games, and patterns, but because of my shit aim, I'm usually the one with the least kills. I practice in deathmatch a lot but have only seen a small bit of improvement. I've completely committed myself to being a utility support and mostly hang back because otherwise, chances are I'll die upon first enemy contact. Problem is, when you're a bottom frag, everyone just assumes you're bad at the game and shouldn't be taken seriously and shouldn't be listened to. This is why I'm still in Iron. When I play with friends, I magically don't suck anymore, because they listen to me and play off of my support.
I really have trouble with my self and aim and mentally I ussually get frustrated or mad when I cant aim even if I practice it only lasts like 3 or 4 games on mentality I get dissapointed and mad at myself ,I try to not tilt but really the anxiety is just kiling
Same thing here... it doesn't matter if i practice every single day (counter strafing, flicking, tracking, ADAD, FFA, etc.) on ranked/casual games i tend to choke real hard. It feels like i just forgot all that i've learned.
