Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.
The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

で、聴いてのとおり、こんな馬鹿みたいに激しくて暗い曲も無いだろう、と言う曲です。
少年少女十字軍の勇ましさと、大人を信じて騙された無念の塊なのです
そろそろ、ゲーム用曲ばっかじゃなくて、ＨＰで公開できるような曲が創りたくて創りました。
今回は、Midi 版にする気力が無いので、生データそのままで
久しぶりに好きな様に曲を創ってみたんですが、最近、人目を恐れて適当に創れない事が多く、
これでは、セオリーばかりの無難な曲しか創れなくなると危機感を感じたので、思い切って感覚だけで弾いてみました。
結果として、物凄く稚拙なところもありますが、私的には楽しく作曲でき満足です(^^;
（人様に聞かせるようなものではないかも）
絵の場合、ちょっとしたもので落書きってものがありますよね。曲の場合は、なんていえば良いんでしょうか？
私が、ＵＰしてるものはまさに、それなんですよね(^^;（３～４時間作品だし）
いずれ、落曲(落書きのような曲）だけじゃなくて、ちゃんとしたの創るべきですね(^^;

is this zun's first instance of using super quartet?
really nice btw, the hihats are a bit bothersome in some places but other than that its pretty nice
I think this is all SD-90. Super Quartet pianos (especially St.Concert piano) have a more exaggerated hammer attack sound.
@@rusolarusso8372 It's definitely the Super Quartet piano - the SD series doesn't have this piano preset...
@@pmd9801 SD90 and Super Quartet share some waveforms but this all sd90 so maybe your mixing it up
This would sound even better with a bit more reverb

Posting this here in case someone sees this and knows how to help:
I got an SD-90 recently (Not just because touhou, though it definitely put this synth on the map for me after I started making music) and it's fun to mess with. However, I have no real idea how to get the MFX to actually... work. It doesn't do anything to the chosen instrument for me. I've asked around a few other places but no one's replied. Figured I'd ask here and see if maybe someone sees this and knows.
Have you gotten an answer yet? I actually have the same issue

Just how many synths do you have? sound canvas VA + an actual SD-90? Or do you have all the hardware?
Everything on this channel was recorded manually and in real time by me using real hardware, except for the SC-55 and SC-8850 stuff which was recorded by EP.

there's an sc88 vst but if you want sd90 sounds you'll have to buy the physical thing, which can be hard to find and costly
