To me, this song represents terrible sadness. When I close my eyes, I see a boy walking along a road, weeping, passing by fallen bodies that have decayed into shadow and bone. At 1:05, he begins to visualize everything he once imagined, the beautiful future he could have built. The images appear like transparent, holographic images of homes and neighborhoods and people playing. He looks up and we see his face for the first time, stained with tears, weeping in the rain as he looks into the cold grey clouds above. Then he shrugs it away and the piano dims again. Throughout the song, he is constantly overcome with visions of his beautiful dream and the sight of his terrible reality. An Estrangement between Dream and Reality... is truly a Curse.

The beat at the beginning reminds me of an EDM song where the vocalist (male) just kinda says the lyrics, doesn't really sing, and uses an autotuner so his voice sounds low and techno but I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LYRICS OR THE NAME so THANK YOU Valiant! This song that made its way in to my recommended has gotten a piece of a song stuck in my head and it's driving me nuts lol
