This is exactly what I have been looking for. Listening to dutch while looking at the subtitles in both english and dutch. Very useful indeed. Thank you. Would like to see more videos.
Dag Bart! Dit website is heel belangrijk om Nederlands te leren. Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands maar ik heb mooilijkheid om nederlandse zin te maken. Mijn compliment voor je werk.
Nederlands is mijn drie spreek (I mean, that dutch is my third language). Ik leer Nederlands vijf dagen en ik denk dat is super en ik ben blij dat ik kan Nederlands leren. Dank je wel, Bart. (Sorry for my misunderstandable dutch)
This is so helpful! I love how you speak slow enough for us to understand each sound individually. I was getting kind of frustrated for not being to understand a single "listening exercise for beginners". Your videos motivated me to keep going!
I was born in the Netherlands but left when I was four years old. I'm going back for the first time in many years and needed to brush up on my very weak dutch. This is perfect. Thank you so much.

This is wonderful, thank you Bart! I am South African (I primarily speak Afrikaans which is similar to Dutch, but yet so different). So I can pick up on some words here and there, but still have a lot of learning to do. So thank you for videos like these even if they are very time consuming. Much appreciated.
Dank u wel. Dit is makkelijk voor mij. Ik wil graag iets moeilijker dan dat. Maar dit is echt super. Gaat u iets hoger voor gevorderde cursisten doen? Hartelijk bedank voor uw tijd.
this is the most helpful video I've seen. I understand every thing go on please this way is better than learning words because we can see the position of each word in the sentence
Way to go, RUclips. As a Dutch native I really needed this, so thanks for recommending this to me! Also, who translated these sentences? For example, the English translation for "cafe" is actually -- hold your breath -- cafe...... Yes. When speaking of a pub, please call it a kroeg (bar). Seriously, being lingual of nature this really made me cringe. It might help beginners, but there's too much lost in these translations and I very much doubt any of this will be of use in real practice. It comes off (very strongly) as a promotional video. However, kudos for speaking slowly and with a clear pronunciation. My advise, though? Get some text and/or audio books, study like you'd normally do and, if you can, befriend some actual Dutch people so you can practice. The latter tip is golden advise to learn any language, not just Dutch. And remember to have fun while learning.
Wat een mooie filmpje , ik heb jou filmpje in mijn school groepje gedeeld. ik vond hem nuttig en makkelijk te begrijpen ik heb heel veel woorden gestudeerd , maar als ik met praten begin met iemand , dan kan ik niet uitleggen , vooral met woordvolgorde . Dag !

Hello, I’ve just started learning Dutch and would like to thank you for this amazing series as this method is way better than remembering words individually.
Hello Bart , Thank you ,I like this new video very much I am NT2 student , please go on , it helps me a lot , much much better than the ( my Saai slecht school ) , please Can I ask why the voice here is lower than normal , How to make it louder , How can I mute the music . ? ,Bedankt voor alles , you are a great teacher ,
I like a lot the dialogues, they are simple and very instructive to practice new words and verbs. It makes you think in Dutch in everyday situations :-)
looking at the dutch words are very helpful! I also helped me know how to read some words and remember. If I see the same words that are being used, I already have an idea what was being talked about! And the English subtitles are also great for some words I am not familiar with. Dank je wel, Bart!
This is the best! Congratulations for the fantastic job! not only is it done well by the way the cartoons were made, but by the dialogues and the very important detail of the subtitles. I have seen many videos to help my study but this channel is the best in everything! Dank u wel Bart!
Geweldig! Het is inderdaad niet zo natuurlijk voor moedertaalsprekers, maar wel super voor wie Nederlands leert! (En daarvoor is het toch gewoon gemaakt?) Helpt me enorm om mijn vriendin Nederlands aan te leren. En vind het super dat het accent en taalgebruik zo neutraal is. (Als Vlaamse worstel ik een beetje met hoe de taal aan te leren.) Dank je!

This is really helpful. It seems if you know some German and some English you are off to a good start. I think Dutch sounds cool and I can instinctively understand some already. thanks!
Hello dear teacher, it is very interesting to watch your videos, I help a lot, only that my level of English is not very good. I dare to ask even though I may seem daring. Could you consider making a video with subtitles in Spanish? or if there is any program to put the subtitles in Spanish; ol please. I am studying for the integration exam and it is a difficult process for me. thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this :) I just started learning Dutch in October and I was happy to see that I almost understood everything without reading the English subtitles.
