Man, I still have my old Roboraptor laying around the house, but I always wanted the Roboreptile way more. How ironic that I wound up being obsessed with real reptiles as an adult 😂
Wow Wee robotics was the bomb when I was a kid... one of the staples of my childhood. In fact, RS Media is sitting on a shelf right across from me in the living room of my apartment right now. And the other Wow Wee robots I had growing up as a kid are still tucked away in my parent's basement. Those were some good times.
@@superdog1227 it would be cool if the old stuff would make a comeback. i mean cant wowwee just put there old product back into production at the very least like roboreptile and RS v2 i mean they "should" have learned from there mistakes they could not make fualty plastic or wire insolation. and its funny that considering they are now 15 years old and yet alleast the ones i got both from ebay work purfictly provided i have durcell batteries. and considering that there 15 years old there pretty advanced in comperison to many cheap robotic toys now. it would be nice if new cool stuff. imagin if roboreptile was more autonomous and did not need his remote to funtion had more sencores color cameras voice and facial recogition. and more articulation in its limbs and acts more like a pet. maybe upscale it from 28inchs to 40inches to make room for now more advanced technology. i mean really we live in the modern era it time that toys modernize.

@@hellothereknownasunknownus6535 its kind of sad to me then ill defenatly keep ahold of the ones i got but personally i would like to take wowwees old robots and get the patants for them and then make more upgraded versions. like for roboreptile in creast the articulation on the legs so roboreptile can actually walk then give it color camras and AI. facial and voice recoge so roboreptile can remeber its owner and can recognise its name if there owner give them one. maybe make hime more like a pet. it would even be cool to put a form of hydralics in the legs so roboreptile can jump on to furnature and such. and add idle animations such as him curreling in ball and taking a nap or sniffing at the ground make roboreptile more allive and active. and then add fuctions so roboreptile will case lasers, or fetch something to make him interactive but also make it so roboreptile will try to get your attention rather than sit an wait make so roboreptile get board and will start rolling around or making noises or nuging people trying to get people to play with him. but also have mode where roboreptile can be calm and frendly or even have feature if roboreptile has enouph bettary instead of laying his beed which would act as a wireless charger would currle at the end of his owners bed like a dog/cat basicly a robot that for somekids that cannot have pets ether because they live in apartments that dont allow pets or have allergies or cannot take care of pets can have a something like a pet. something is fun also that is kind of a companion to.
Almost everything says not to use rechargeable batteries, it's just really old and was used for years on end sense 2007, you gotta expect that the motors are gonna start dying out after awhile. that had nothing to do with the rechargeables. most alkaline batteries dont last long enough and that would be too expensive to keep buying more because I had hundreds and hundreds of toys that took batteries at the time
my robo-reptile doesn't walk, it only emits sounds, when using the control, when pressing a button only sounds come out, before using the control, if it walked, it worked fine, could you please tell me how I can make it work, that is, my robo-reptile can walk again
i think wowwee need to take a momment. take a look at roboreptile and take a look other toys being made and realise they have been messing up this entire time. because roboreptile vs something like miposouar i would take roboreptile. or even roboraptor. they should take a look other companies moving for money grabs like Mattel which can only think about making new versions of barbie or Hasbro which just wants to sell my little pony or the furreal friends line which is plumeting fast. there nothing in comparison to roboreptile. while most of them have animatronics they still cant walk in there own and well wowwee has several toys which have able to walk on there own sense 2003 with Robosapian. ether they should maybe revive some of there older toys like Robopet, RS V2, Roboreptile, Roboraptor, Roboquad or they need to revise and upgrade them with more modern tech. i would like to see wowwee try to compete with Sony's Aibo or Anki's Vector/Cosmo as i think there needs to be more cool toys rather than stuff that looks like it was pooped out of a cartoon.

Rechargeable battery’s will mess the wowwee robotics up... it said in the manual.
