I am not from Africa but I think what he is trying to do is to have one united Africa with one military, one economy, one currency. The same like one china. South africa is still a puppy between big world economies and most SA economic control is in white mans hand anyway. Those small African countries alone don't have the power to stand against the super powers. If the white or chinese want to be evil they can just come and wipe half of you black people out and take out recources. They dont even need to place boots on your land just air or biological attacks and there is not much africans could do about it. But I have to admit that you need things in order first then just open borders cause you can invite terrorists to. for Most of Europe has the roman catholic Christianity faith so they are better in moving their population in one direction . africa seams to have alot of tribal issues.
I live in a country that also has tribes. They have their villages in areas full of riches but they don't capitalise on this in a proper way. They don't combine to have a company that will benefit their people. And now other people come and take the riches because of corrupt leaders in their community and these villagers are complaining..like man you got the same opportunity to get rich?

I don't know why other people expect SA to copy American and UK for, those countries don't copy Africa 🌍, they do their thing. Why one country SA out of 55countries of Africa do that.
And why must it be SA the topic and agenda of the whole 54 countries by force and fuel and others outside countries. What is it with our black people , to be so bitterly obsessed and always be alert to any movement , issues and affairs of SACANS in SA be involved in. It's really disturbing and sort of very sneakish for people who think that this one country of SA must be the answer for all countries that have other black people in the whole world and be responsible for all them as well.
Since when a sovereign country shouldn't be independent and do what is best for its people without being be labeled, judged and forced to do what all other black countries demand.
Where does their itch exactly come from. They don't get tired of watching.
They never worry about other sovereign developed and growing economic countries like Zambia Botswana, Ghana, Nigeria, Namibia, and Rwanda .
What is exactly the problem of all these Africans is about SA.
The they didn't know and cared about SA until now 15 to 3years ago. All of a sudden they are up talking things they're not even know about. They are up with their bags claiming entitlement and even lying saying that their forefathers comes from this country which is the fattest lie .
And even denying their original background where it really is. And they even change their whole being and force to be some other nationals. This is sick and it is really absurd and retardation.
As for keep on comparing Africa and its nations to European nations and America. America is as big Africa , and US is strict, racist as hell to other Americans inside America and outside America is even worse than Africa.
But here in SA and Africa we know that but we don't talk about it, whether it has black people or not, it has nothing to do with us , because we have also much bigger issues and problems.
Now where does the problem of those people poking their nose in SA affairs for. Don't they have any more of their problems to fix. America is their motherland now, just like other Africans have their motherland in their countries .
We don't push them around as South Africans, we respect their space. And we don't care or worry ourselves of how they live their lives. But we worry and voice out when they are facing brutality.
It's not for them to put blame on us SAns for their dissatisfaction and unhappiness ,for we didn't wrong them. We face our own problems daily and retaliate when these forces challenge us because we have no choice, but to protect ourselves from the attacks.
I wish people, especially our fellow Africans to respect themselves by respecting other people's lives and their home countries, that way the love they talk about will be noticed. But please stop forcing your ideas of making SA country to Africa continent , it is our homeland as you also have your own share of homeland in the same Africa 🌍. We have a right too , to have the same especially to our own land, not the other way around.
Non SAns brought their xenophobia treat in our land, and reversed it for shine and seek attention. If it was SAns who were xenophobic, they'll have stopped flocking into SA in droves long ago and especially now of late that they come in and don't even care whether they permitted or not .And they won't go to other black countries or go away where they belong. But they shout, scream xenophobia while they flock in in millions, while xenophobicking in our homeland, GET A GRIP.

I fully agree with you . We know how the Western media knows how much petrol to add to the already burning fire. They only thing they do for themselves is to make sure that their jobs are secured, as they are getting paid for doing that. Otherwise, they are going to lose their jobs if they ignore doing that. As to them, it is being considered very important, as if it is legal in their countries.

Those people viewed Africa with the diasporian eye, they did not have tribes and nations, they did not have different cultures and languages in the diaspora.
They came with a good theory which was not practical, Dr Nkrumah adopted it, however, Sellaisse, Nyerere jected it claiming that let Afrucan countries develop independently first and later unite.
Nkrumah's government became authoritarian in the 1960s, as he repressed political opposition and conducted elections that were not free and fair.
In 1964, a constitutional amendment made Ghana a one-party state, with Nkrumah as president for life of both the nation and its party.
So if Africa united under Nkrumah and he became a president, how do we know if he wouldn’t have introduced a one-party state whereby he was a dictator, and would that not have resulted in a breakaway of the United States of Africa?
Take for instance the cherrypicking of Dr Nkrumah when it comes to Berlin Conference Borders when they benefited him:
“…After World War I, the winning powers divided the African colonies of a defeated Germany, including the small protectorate of Togoland. The western half of the territory was given to the British who unified it with the Gold Coast (present-day Ghana), while the eastern half became French Togo.¹ This artificial partition was rejected by the Ewe people, who were divided into two different territories. However, the union with the Gold Coast was ratified in a referendum in 1956 and followed by the creation of the independent state of Ghana in 1957. Although the option of unifying with Ghana won with 58 percent of the vote, the southern Ewe regions voted in favor of remaining under a UN mandate…
Following the unification, the Ghanaian government divided the territory into several regions. Western Togoland today corresponds mostly to the Volta region and some territories in the Northern, Upper East, and Upper West regions.
While Ghana's President Kwame Nkrumah advocated for the integration of Togo as a seventh region of Ghana, the Togolese government took a stand against the division of Togoland and the Ewe people.
The then-Togolese president Sylvanus Olympio called for the unification of Western Togoland with Togo. This issue created strong tensions between both countries, which eased after the assassination of Olympio in 1963…” Africa Upclose-Western Togoland: a Secessionist Conflict in the Heart of Ghana.
As we speak this secessionist conflict is revived.
You go to Nigeria you will find a similar disatisfaction amongst the Igbo, in Zimbabwe two tribes, the Shona and the Ndebele people do not see each other eye to eye.
In Botswana, 32 non-Tswana tribes complains of descrimination and oppression by the 8 Tswna speaking tribes, and these are just mild conflicts compared to some that I will not mention.
The problem of Africa is not borders, it is the corruption and undemocratic tendencies of the African leaders and their unsatified greed.

Let me help you, you used wrong examples. The USA was always a one country run by Britain, it was not different countries run by Britian, therefore in 1776 they inherited a single administration, unlike Chile, Agentina and Brazil or our African states.
The division of the USA happened in 1880, four years and in 1884 it united again. So you cannot compare an 8 years separation of a country that was administered as one since its colonization to African states that unto this day are taking each other to the ICJ in Hague, paying European lawyers to fights each other for disputed territories and maritime.
As you write this comment, all 54 members of the African Union are fighting against each other, using the very same colonial documents claiming territory against each other from their masters.
The AU cannot resolve these desputes because the very same AU all of it is these desputes.
You cannot use EU as an example, because unlike your Malema, the EU set standards eg:
      1. Democracy
      2. Rule of law
      3.Government transparency’
      4. Human rights
      5Gender Equality
To name but a few. Your neighbour rigged elections this year and got away with it, beating opposition. Two years ago, Nigerian women were happy that a Bill was proposed for gender equality, it failed because the North stated that it will not accept gender equality due to the fact that Islam does not agree with such behaviour.
Rwanda is attacking the DRC you cannot even solve that.
The EU has rules and Malema has none, Turkey, Cyprus, Ukraine, Monaco applied for the EU membership and were not accepted, they were given targets that they need to reach before they become members.
Have you ever thought how you will deal with gay rights in a one Africa, whereby only 8 countries recognises the rights of gays and the rest of the continent does not?
Have you thought about how you will address gender equality when in other countries beating a woman is not even a thing to be discussed in a court of law?
What about child labour and child bride?
Guys stop singing this utopian thinking without really thinking hard about it.
Please do not compare apples with oranges, look first at the history of countries you want to compare to us with.

We need to remember that Europeans felt the same about opening borders, eventually they did open borders and they are more united and stronger than they were. Free movement will allow our future generations learn more and work harder to build their surroundings. Rwandan left their country during the genocide 1994 but they went back to their country. Zimbabweans are all over the world but they go back to their country, as Africans we can learn a lot from all these disadvantaged countries. Free movement will limit other foreign nationals floating into particular country. That will simply mean tourism will expand, hotels and restaurants will boom, factories and goods will do more. The best way to stop your staff from sealing food is to give them food!!

You are wrong, dead wrong. Firstly Europe still has independent countries its not a one country with one government, a nonsense Malema is calling for.
      2. All European countries that are part of the EU agree fundamentally on one standard of human rights, one standard of democracy, one standard of transparency one standard of the rule of law.
That is why countries like Turkey, Ukraine, Cyprus and Monaco though they want to join, they cannot until they meet the standards set by the EU; when Malema’s standard is just simply that we share a continent, really?
Your neighbour Zimbabwe does not uphold your standard of democracy. Eswatini is bullying its citizens, Nigeria does not uphold the gender equality, two years ago a bill that was about gender equality was defeated in Nigeria, other senators stating that it is against Islam.
What about Uganda? Rwanda is committing war crimes in the DRC. These are just a few of the challenges that we have.
8 countries in this continent recognizes the rights of Homosexuals, the rest of the continent doesn’t. How do you deal with that?
How do you deal with countries that allow children to be married, even as young as 12, we have them?
Other countries child labour is legal, be realistic.
You guys supports stuff you do not even bother to research nor just read about, and inform yourselves with the African geopolitics.
As we speak, all 53 African states have taken each other to the International Court of Justice, in Hague, paying western lawyer with Euros(whilst the people are starving) , in order for the very same west to adjudicate on the land and maritime desputes as we speak. Most are using the very same colonial documents to argue their case.
Its only South Africa that is a defended in this foreign court in Europe, accused by Namibia(Orange River border), Lesotho(Free State land) and Eswatini( huge portions of Mpumalanga).
Malema is not even aware that the whole of the African Union members are in the Hague claiming land from each other as we speak. What kind of nonsense is that?
You are talking about unity, these guys wants a piece of of land and maritime from each other, they are not even attempting to solve that in that useless circus parliament called PAP, no, its their masters who can solve that problem for them.
Wake up, do not allow Malema to use you guys, using a programme that failed in the 50’s and was resurrected in 1963 and died.

Which Zimbabweans go back to their country? You are referring to people who visits their almost former country.
I am friends with with Zimbabweans, in the diaspora, we have an Afrucan association and on top of that my best family friends are three Zimbabwean families.
When they came back from visiting their families in Zimbabwe, I used to asked them how were things and if they met their friends and neighbours, the response will always be, no one of age is in Zimbabwe, its only old and very young people, we are scattered all over the world.
You are listening to the Malema apologetics, that people return, the influx of people from different provinces, to bigger cities is real, he and Shibamvu left Limpompo and are literally living in Gauteng, those less fortunate, who had no ANCYL corruption connections are living in shacks, shacks are growing, crime is rising.
These are sysmptoms of influx, which is execerbated by the illegal immigrants. Malema himself has admitted that the most brutal crime in this country is committed by the Zimbabweans.
Yes we have a problem with our policing system and the ever so flexible human rights constitution, but foreigners exploits it. Ngamaanga that people return. Or the loose laws fo not attract people in this country.

i don't agree with your point and Malema's, firstly for European countries to join the European Union they have to meet certain standards, Malema just wants to open borders of South Africa based on "Blackness and Skin color" to the whole of Africa, people with different backgrounds, cultures, languages, no standards to be put in place at all, South Africa would become a slum and lose its culture. I dont want to live in Malema's South Africa whete it'll be hard to see 90% ethnic South Africans while walking on the streets but to see 90% different aliens speaking different languages with different accents who cant even speak any South African language having to share space with them. No thank you. And I think South Africans have clearly expressed that they don't want influx of foreigners into this country thats how they started to call us Xenophobic i dont know why he so hell bent on opening borders despite knowing this, why does he wan to force these people on us?

However that needs be done after all countries sort its economic problems and provide opportunities for employment ,land and housing for citezens. Furthermore, have one currency for all African countries. That will ensure no influx of immigrants in one country with high currency.

I really enjoy all the questions the journalist is asking, while Julius as well is answering all the questions satisfactorily. Therefore, that is why all of the people in S.A., myself included, would like to say thank you to both of you, i hope. Those questions and answers give the people the ideas or reasons why some people like black S.A. prefer to have borders while others are saying No to borders. The argument of that topic "BORDERS" got heated much stronger when the ANC took power. It actually is the truth that foreigners used to come to S.A in the past, but they were not as many as like when the ANC starts to govern the country and during that time, blacks never complained about the foreigners as much. I would like to think that, most of the workshy type black people, were thinking that Mr Mandela was going to take all the white S.A possessions and give it to the black South Africans and the minority groups people? Oh no guys, it doesn't work that way, and we know, it has never worked that way, and lastly, it will probably never work that way in any existing country on this planet. That, was noticed when some of the employees were starting to resigned from their jobs while they were envying the lifestyles of the White S.A people. Meanwhile when we knew that, white people happened to enjoy that life styles through the help of apartheid as a results nothing, that the people who were under the apartheid laws could have done, as now those people could see that their only revenge is to commit crimes through corruption which we see how the governing party is happy about that, as he is doing the same thing as well. That is why all the piece loving S.A people are crying for help without even showing their tears, as we all hope that the only people to rescue us and bring back the situation to normality is Julius Malema and the EFF. By the way, people know that it is not going to be easy, but you GYS just try as far as you can do.

What will happen economically to the country over fludded? When it comes to destroying the electricity equipments, the foreigners know so much about electricity as most of them are very intelligent when it comes to technology. Therefore, the work-shy South Africans, they form a syndicate with the foreigners as the foreigners know how electricity is being built and the materials which are being used. The S.A citizen guys, know exactly where to sell those tools for them to get money from them. Therefore, the S.A citizen will ask them to remove things like copper etc, for them to sell those, so as to share the money. That is why the foreigners are know as thieves, instead of them. That is why, it is always being reported that the copper etc thieves are the foreigners, as the S.A are always refusing to do dirty job, as the foreigners are willing to do any kind of job, as long as they know how to do that, because they know they are going to the get money for the task they have been given. As much as I would like to put a blame on the foreigners, it is difficult for me to label them as thieves. But I would not want you to agree with me.

Pretoria for example or Gauteng as a whole , There are lot of limpopian people who moved there . Looking for greener pastures . The very same thing will happen with our brothers and sisters from the neighbouring countries . They will go where theres light or where there are more opportunities . Leaving no room for South Africans to thrive in their own land . And i can assure you that no one will move to countries where there are no opportunities. There will be issues like overpopulation in the big cities . And many issues will arise . The land issue For example . And touching on the issue of safety , there is a lot of human trafficking happening in and around South Africa. Whereby they take people from SA to the outside . That will only enable them to do that freely . Iam not saying that every other person from outside our borders commits such crime but we can't shy away from the fact that it's happening . And some do commit such crime . It will do more harm than good . We have issues already with illegal immigrants who come in and out of SA as they please . And some are not here with good intentions . And we can't shy away from that . There won't be order also . Unless he has plans and ideas of how he is gonna run such nation and contain the country . We have limited resources that even our citizens from rural places can't access . For now I strongly disagree on the issue of open borders . He might as well remove his fence and see what happens . I respect this man . But it's a no for me . I was gonna vote for EFF but now I'm not sure. I think Every other nation including South Africa needs to work on their own issue first before this is even implemented . I think Mr needs to think deeper into this . Then you have a funny way of showing love to each other Africans, and borders that you are in hurry to get them opened won't change your mindset because you are hard by nature.
No race can tell other race of grown people to hate or love each other. Every nation fights and hate in the world for various reasons. Please find other excuses for abandoning your countries to invade other people home countries.
Colonizers my foot , I'm a sick and tired of lame excuses from people who has nothing to do but play blaming game towards others.
If it's not xenophobia then it's colonizers, get a grip and stop blaming borders that were there from the time of very first nations on earth. Everyone has a place that he/she belongs to. You can start by checking in your Bible then in history when there were no colonizers, people were always fighting for their lands up to this damn day eg Russia vs Ukraine, now Israel vs Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Eritrea Burundi ,Somalia, Ethiopia, west Africa . Whites on whites and black on blacks, no race is better than the other. People fight for their own belongings, get it in your head and stop blame game and find something to do.
