Stumbled on your tiktok tonight and ran over here to subscribe and say, I’m really impressed with what you are doing! Wish you all the best in this adventure! Cheers
Hey man - just an FYI for the future, when you’re cleaning up old metal (line when you were using the wire wheel) I’d recommend using a filtered mask so that you’re not inhaling the tiny particles you’re throwing into the air Great job!!
They make stuff called stove "polish" or stove black - it's a thin paste you get in a small jar and wipe it on with a rag - it'll dry and some will burn off - with all the intricate decoration on this stove paint (like what you've done) is probably a good first step anyhow but to keep the look of your stove "up" the stove polish works great - I found that a jar would last me about 5 years with our medium size stove that we used to burn almost non-stop (between 2-4 full cord a year)
Im definitely not an expert, however i would suggest repainting the doors and windows. And adding some kind of insulation on the edges of the glass, and if you have any extra money you could double glaze the glass but i have heard its quite expensive. It’s awesome you have done this yourself. Keep it up! 👍
Next time instead of paint use a oil well the stove is hot. Its probably cast iron and when cast iron is coated with oil wrll hot it turns black and also helps prevent rusting. Think of it like a cast iron pan
Get some offset snips if you can, for metal work they'll really be worth it you can get a two pack one is for a cut that turns left and the other for a cut that turns right. Looked like you're using straight snips there which are hard to use for this. Found your content on Instagram and followed to yt, love what you're doing man!
I'm no expert but shouldn't the tighter side of the chimney pipe, which fits into the other side, be installed towards the top of the chimney system and the wider side installed towards the bottom so smoke does not leak out? Really been enjoying this build and what you have accomplished so far!
Its exactly the other way around , you should expect what you say, but vaccum in the pipe cuz of the heat will suck everything up , the pipe is connected in away condence and water endup in your stove and dont leak out of your pipe
U going to make a greenhouse on the side of the shead like instead of glass the cheaper option is pixie glass idk how to spell the plastic part of the name lol
Wow 🤩 you really turned that shack into a nice little tiny house !! Good job ! ✌🏼😎💯

Oddly satisfying {i dunno in usa but in italy we have attachment rings between the pipe and the stove}

Dont know if it was asked already. But why did you not put in insulation on the roof?
The wood crunch was so satisfying - did you seal around the opening on the roof so water doesn’t get in?
Yep it's all sealed
What is up? It’s been a bit, any updates?
@justinwarren9743 my tiktok is way more upto date
@janklabs awwww man, don't have tiktok....too much social media 😢
The pipes were so frustrating to watch omg. Glad you finally got it! (The blood sacrifice was necessary)

Get a carbon monoxide sensor incase the fire in the furnace eats all the oxygen
You remind me of an ex friend. Every single thing he did in life became his arch enemy.
