Me Against The World to me is PAC’s best and most introspective album. That was Pac before his rage period. Also, I hated when Pac was dissin Biggie, Stretch, Nas and Jay. Pac was loved in his hometown NYC and he just felt paranoid and skeptical of people. Pac knew Big and Stretch had no knowledge of no robbery. I feel Pac was trolling. He made amends with Nas at the MTV awards. He planned on removing Nas disses from Against All Oddz. Pac did more music with his ppls from NY even when he was affiliated with DRR. He had no beef with NY nor the east. In his songs recorded later in 96 he speaks about there being no east Vs west and how he and Stretch “We go back like wild nights in Latin Quarters”….. Gregg Nice who grew up with Pac in the Bronx brought light on Pac telling him he miss living in NY and how he isn’t a threat to nobody. Pac said shit and thought it out later. PAC’s first artist name
Was MC New York when he moved to Baltimore from The Bronx. On songs like “My Block”, Pac shouted out his neighborhoods in the Bronx and Harlem like 183rd and Walton and Harlem around w112th and East Harlem. In “Ol Skool”, Pac referenced Uptown (which is Harlem and The Bronx where he was born and raised). Prominent NY producers have good history with Pac, like East Moe Bee, DJ Ron G, Shock G, DJ Premier, Live Squad, and more. Pac aligned with California and reppin hard to express his frustrations with the Quad studios robbery and rappers and media hosts clowning him while he was incarcerated. He felt betrayed by his closest friends, so he disassociated with them and took on a west coast based persona. Prior to Desth row, even while living in California, Pac always repped NY

I respect tf outta Majesty, Stretch, and all the other niggas that was around Pre-Death Row. I’m just sick of this narrative that “Pac was low key snitching, Pac wasn’t really in the streets, he wasn’t really a gangster, etc” Real Pac fans KNOW he wasn’t a Gangster. But a SNITCH he was not. And he was fight a RAPE CASE where other niggas that was there weren’t getting treated how he was. My biggest beef with Live Squad and other cats from that time is if y’all were the “real gangsters” of the crew, why ain’t nobody slide or ride for Pac after Quad or while he was in jail. To me it seems like Niggas thought they were more hood than what they really were until ACTUAL gangsters got involved. It don’t make you a bitch or soft that makes you smart. Too many niggas wanna play both sides tho. Wanna walk and talk hard, but don’t wanna “get involved” in street shit and it never works like that

Jimmy wasnt cool with Strech or any of them, to him they were just kids trying to be Rappers. Henchman and his crew were older and very serious feared underworld figures. Henchman and his crew was one of the most dangerous black gangsters in NY Underworld, they all would have gotten themselves killed including Pac in Jail trying to retaliate. BIG warned him to stay away from feared notorious Brooklyn Underworld figures but he didnt litsen, went to the LA did almost the same shit over, and got himself and alot Gangstas killed behind that bullshit. Gangsters business should stay in streets, no place for entertainers to play around...
