thanks a lot,,, i was watching the film Grizzly2 with the family, when the sow and her cub gets shot, for some reason i suddenly shouted out, chuke is that you, lol the look on the fams faces was priceless.
Kel-Tec sells thicker buttpads and picatinny optics rails for the KS7 on their website. Hitechcc also sells a bunch of awesome KS7 & KSG accesories such as metal magazine followers and muzzle brakes. I have a muzzle brake on my KS7 and it makes a world of difference
Once I shot it the lightbulb went on. After doing some double tap drills from a low ready for a period of 4 weeks I was sold. Maybe the best home defense weapon I’ve ever owned period full stop. Then I tried long range slugs at 100 yards from a standing position. I able to make noggin shots (8”) all day.
Keltec Sub 2000 in 9mm, is a great weapon, it is the only Keltec I bought that I didn't have to send back for repair. It is great for traveling. Two Keltecs I bought were out of box failures, a 22 semiauto carbine and a 9mm pistol. The third, a 32 auto pistol that I had to send back twice for repair. KelTek needs to something about their quality control, your buddy's shotgun should not need to be tweaked. It should be able to fire right out of the box 100% of the time.
Practicing reloading a KS7....but don't like the KSG? OK. To each his own. My KSG fits in my Harley hard saddlebag. I dig it. You can reload...awkwardly...I'll keep shooting. ;) Cool video. You're a funny dude!
Ksg too fat and unwieldy. Ks7 is svelte and packed with 7+ shots. In a shotgun that's all you need. With the ksg you're just lugging around extra ammo you know you'll never need.
@@m.m4982 You know you'll never need? I guess that depends on who you are and what exactly you are doing. It sounds more like you are speaking of your own personal situation. In my case, when required, the KSG goes in one saddlebag, and the AK pistol in the other, with several magazines, in addition to the sidearm.
I think the KS7 is an interesting concept. I am really interested in what you were standing in front of. Looks like some sort of aircraft but I didn't recognize it.
I am so confused by your comment. The KS7 is unbelievably lighter and less cumbersome than any AR10. Why would you need more than 7 slugs to take out a brown bear?? You do know that this video was about brown bear self defense not hunting right?
@@ElectronicJunky12 For whatever reason TONS of people comment on a video without watching it. It should be embarrassing to do that, but it isn't anymore.
I saw a tv show last week about a team of 4 scientists who camped out on a beach in polar bear country. They surrounded their tent area with an electric fence. Around 2:30 am, a polar bear busted through the fence and dragged one of the men from his tent, by the head. The other scientists were awakened by the noise, and it turns out the only guns they had were flare guns. WTF?? That was just damn stupid! If I'm camping out in polar bear country, even in a cabin, I'm bringing along a 12 gauge with slugs and a 454 casull, and demanding that each other team member do the same. It's completely irresponsible to not bear arms.
Cool video chukes Outdoors think of some better shotgun options. Like keltec to a point 👉 have one small 380 acp had for long time . Had few issues with nothing after they got fixed. Really like to shot their front eject 308
My 590s had to go back. Jammed due to bolt issue and also the barrel had a dimple interior after they punched mossberg on outside. Their quality is now questionable
Interesting. I guess the bullpup has the advantage of being compact, but the mechanism is somewhat different and has more potential for problems. I am sure there is a reason that Mossberg quit making their bullpup after a couple of years back in the 80's. A Mossberg 500 or Win 1300 is not any heavier (alloy receivers) and are known to be reliable. The 1300 cycles very fast because it uses recoil to partially unlock the bolt, making pumping that much slicker. The comnenter who mentions the AR-10 makes a good point as well (make mine a 338 Federal). Where were you? That was some sort of military aircraft on static display. On the upside, it is more practical and loghter than the KSG.
There is a company called HI-TECH Custom Concepts that makes a lot of nice parts for the KS-7 including Muzzle Brakes and sight rails.
Thank you

Had mine for about 1 year love the KS7
Why is he reloading once every time? I thought it could hold 6 or 7 shells?
Be fun to see what he thinks after a season of carrying it
Its pretty light. 6lbs. With a sling it would be no big deal

If it’s me and a grizzly; give me a Mossberg 500 with an 18.5 barrel and an extended tube that I know will feed and shoot every time..
pump actions do not jam..
My ks7 doesn't jam? My brother's rem 870 jammed same day we went to range

Just paid $326 new for mine
Nice me too! Hey a new "me too" movement!
it's just me or the flashlight dropped after 3 shots?
Yep. Haha I had to go back and make sure I really saw that.
KelTec Quality
Sure did. That gun sucks worst then a hipoint
@@whitespacemarines4308whatre you talking about. Keltec didn't make that flashlight.
Bears are a lot more chill than people think.

RE: weight & size I would rather have an AR 308 , too few rounds , too slow , too cumbersome , no range . Thanks for your work !!

Who walks around in bear country without a loaded gun?
A liberal 🤣

You should tell you guy to try the Keltec RDB Survival or Defend instead of his tavor 7
The main reason i went with mossberg It was the only shotgun to pass all the military torture tests.
Nah it was the cheapest one that's why they adopted it

Mcarbo is a great after market company for Keltec.
Very nice
Don't go 4 minutes without showing what you reviewing.
Interesting
If you need a place to sleep or shower, let me know
Thanks man! I’m managing good so far. Showering at the armory 😂
A higher sight like that reduces recoil, and that is why the military used them.
bear food
Are you really homeless
I would never trust Keltech with my life.
Why not?
Lol I have the UTAS 15 and it is way better.
Way heavier
.
Way more bulky
