Great video. Just added those tracks to my wish list. You need to modify/re route the carby breather hose for the DR650 for deep water crossings to stop it stalling.
Bugga. Looking at the video you can see a chicken track around that waterhole. Always a good sign it's a bit treacherous LOL. With all the bush in NZ surely it would be easy enough to take a sidetrack and bush camp for free?. I'm thinking of coming over ( from Oz ) next year and want to mainly free camp away from everyone.
Definitely should’ve taken the chicken track 😂. If you’re in a National Park it’s free game and you can camp anywhere. It can get a bit iffy in other spots with private land etc, but if you’re out of sight out of mind and leave no trace, I can’t see a problem
