Terminologies:
BS: Battle Spells are extra abilities any hero can equip. Never forget to check if you have the appropriate BS based on your line up and the enemy team's line up. This can only be set up prior the game which is during the draft pick/preparation phase.
CC: Crowd Control is the act of disabling heroes. (Stun, Slow, Silence, Root Etc.)
Objectives: Jungle Objectives such as the Turtle, Lord etc. This also includes Turrets, and of course, the opposing team's base.
Camping: The act of hiding and attempting to Gank a hero multiple times with the intent of preventing its growth.
Freeze/Lane Freezing: Act mostly done on the Side lanes to prevent over exposure. Mostly done during the earlier stages of the game, or when enemies aren't visible in the mini map.
Carry: Can be any hero with the potential of flipping the sides of the coin in battle, or in other words, carrying an entire team to victory!
MM/ADR: Marksmen also known as Attack Damage Ranged, are usually a squishy hero with low to minimal survivability which has the potential to carry the entire team especially in the late game if fed enough. Normally farms dominantly on the lane.(Bottom Lane)
Assassin/ADC: Attack Damage Carries also known as Assassins, are usually squishy but with high mobility, these heroes also has the potential to carry the entire team. Unlike MMs though, most if not all Assassins are melee. Normally uses the Jungle as a farming area as oppose to laning.
Offlaner: Usually are fighters or even tanks with good minion sweeping potential and high sustain and survivability. Though not the norm, some offlaners are known to have the potential to carry an entire team. Dominates the Top Lane.
Tank: High HP pool, high resilience, and survivability are the qualities of a Tank. Normally sacrifices itself for the Core Hero(es).
Support: Extremely versatile heroes which can either have high survivability, or hard CC, usually with skills able to empower a number of heroes with buffs, heals, etc.

I love how he uses "we" instead of "I" when stating his actions in the game. Really connects with the audience.
Thanks for noticing. When writing the content, I try as much as possible to use "we", though sometimes, out of reflex, I use "I" but that was not intended. I use "we" as a way of acknowledging that a lot of the things I know now, have been because of a lot of people I have played with, played against, and of course everyone who contributes their knowledge on the comments section of this channel and my other pages.
He has very low self esteem i think... that's why he uses we every time. He should use "I" when it's required...

I've been playing xborg for fun for years now and he's never underwhelming idk why people think he's weak , he's just different from other fighters.
I kinda understand why they think that way. And this is coming from a person who likes him the same way you do, his damage needs time to become effective (true damage), then he loses a ton of his HP after using his ultimate and deals between 1300 to 1600 damage only, he also has lower stats than other fighters.
However! Once the Ice Queen wand gets its adjustment, XB will become far greater than what he is now.

The upcoming changes to spellvamp would be an indirect buff to xborg. He might gain some popularity because of it though it might not be enough to push him through the ranks of the current popular xplaners. If it does make him popular enough, it would be a breath of fresh air to see a different hero in the pro scene.

ice queen having spellvamp now allows him to ditch bloodlust and have one extra slot for defense
Yeah! Exactly ! This is a very good indirect buff to XB. Like really really good. Gives him more options in selecting a different item.
I smell a rework on Bloodlust axe. I think it will be one of the least used items once this patch is released. Why? The new talent system can give players as much as 20% spell vamp, then there are items that will have hybrid lifesteal (Lifesteal from basic attacks and spell vamp) which means Endless battle will get a higher usage rate, same as Ice Queen Wand. Since BloodLust only gives average stats and of course spellvamp, it doesn't make sense getting it over other items that can also provide spellvamp among other useful stats

Honestly when I use him he feels so squashy and the damage is not that great but when the enemy use him he seems much more tankier and deals more damage, but honestly I don’t think he’s that great in the current meta. His ult leaves him so vulnerable after.
Yup, definitely. He might become much better though next month.
X.Borg requires the player to be aggressive especially during the early game. The key is for him to outlevel and outgain the enemies. If you can do that, then definitely it will be very hard for them to kill him or escape his attacks.

it wasn't better to take dominance ice instead of the necklace of durance? like it would be kinda more useful because you could decrease Wanwan's atk speed and the healing effects ... I forgot about the cdr lol
btw I've sent you some matches (2) with Hanabi, pick one of them or both if you want
and btw, on the next patch one of xboy core items would be icequeen wand for the new spell vanp mechanics
The problem with Domi is you have to be really close to activate its effect. Durance on the other hand can reach them further. The range of Domi's effect is melee range, and XB, technically is not melee. XB is also played very differently than other fighters. If most fighters need to remain close, XB needs to maintain space. Space far enough from enemies reach but close enough for his skills to hit, sadly, that range goes beyond the range of Domi.

Would you buy sea halberd for anti heal instead? Does 8% more damage to enemies with higher Hp, and x borg base hp is so low
Sea Halberd calculates extra HP not base HP. XBorg's build has a lot of extra HP. which means he will not benefit much since his extra HP will be higher than most heroes

It really depends. In most cases, using S1 is better especially if you have Ice Queen, but there are situations where using ult first is a good idea especially if they have CC, or you want to stack up slow quickly, his ult's slow stacks with IQW afterall.
Notice that the slowing effect is better when ult is used, versus only S1. Using which first really vary on a lot of factors.
i didn't know ice queen wand is magic spell vamp because the description says 10% spellvamp only 😅
I believe it was, and then it was changed to magic lifesteal, and currently, it is hybrid lifesteal. So it does have spell vamp now

Hey buddy! Thanks for asking, actually, I have decided to let Davis lead the commentary. That way, I have more time creating content and playing the game. Recording eats so much of my time especially since I need to consider factors like
1. The noise from my kids
2. Noise from the neighbors.
3. Nearby construction
Is necklace of durance better than halberd?
That depends Sea Halberd is better for most Physical heroes especially those reliant on basic attacks. That juicy bonus attack speed can go a long way in helping dish out more damage.
XBorg benefits from magic items, but not so much. He benefits more from physical attack items damage wise. However, Durance does provide more stats that will benefit XBorg so I always choose it on XBorg rather than Halberd. Also, I normally build XBorg with a lot of defensive items. Because of that, his extra HP is usually higher than most enemies thus preventing him from taking advantage of Halberd's 2nd unique passive. Here's the comparison
Halberd
PAttack 80 (Greatly benefits XB's damage)
ASPD 25% (XB is not a hero that relies too much on basic attacks so this is not very useful for him)
UP Lifedrain
UP 8% bonus damage on enemies with higher EXTRA HP (Not max HP) (Since XB has usually higher extra HP than most enemies, he won't be able to maximize this effect)
Durance
MPower 60 (XB benefits from this, but the scaling is not as good as PAttack.)
HP 300 (XB needs this as well)
CDR 5% (Any % of CDR is always good to have when playing XB)
Mana 380 (Sadly XBorg does not benefit from this stat)
UP Lifedrain ( I was not suppose to buy Durance but based on my observation, the Alice player was gaining a significant amount of stacks and was starting to become tankier. )
UP regenerates HP and Mana (if applicable) whenever the user levels up. This makes Durance good as an early game item (most of the time).

Lifedrain does not stack. If you already have Domi Ice, do not get NOD
Same goes with Halberd, if you have Halberd, do not buy any other lifedrain item.
Only choose and buy one from NOD, DI, and Halberd since their life drain effects do not stack.

Thank you. And yes, that's what I was aiming for. I feel like too many videos discuss the specifics of the heroes but fail to discuss stuff like decision making.
This makes a lot of players think that there is only one way to approach the game which is not true at all. It's not just point A to point B, sometimes, it can be point A to point D, then from point D to point B. If you watch my other videos, you would notice that how I move on the map differs. Sometimes I play aggressively and invade just like in this video, sometimes I play defensively and freeze the lane. It really depends.

Odette is alright, the problem is when they pick Odette. She's usually good as a late pick and only against specific match ups. Otherwise, your timing should be impeccable .
