  • A few days ago, while working in my yard, this song was playing relentlessly in my head... I don't think I'd heard it in years, so the next day I pulled out the 12" and gave it a spin... and decided it was definitely going to be this week's Friday Dance track!
I've actually got two copies of this song - this one, a UK Import from 1998 on Jive, and a US Domestic promo 12" on Universal Republic. After comparing them, I went with this one... The Domestic was a little quieter during the intro, but had WAY better sound quality once the track got going. And yes, I DID consider stitching together a hybrid, but decided to just roll with the import!

I was in a nightclub in Washington DC called "Spy Club" when I first heard this track and the next day I quickly went to the record store to find out if it was available and they sure did have. thanks for bringing back GOOD memories.

I got my start at RIPCORD in 1998 one of Houstons premier leather /bear bars , the year this FOREVER CLASSIC was released , this was on high rotations on my sets ❤
Fast forward to 9/11/2001 , I was a billboard deejay , one of the few .....9/11 was the most horrible day in this nations history , RIP all the souls that perished that horrible day .
Billboard asked us to play a song at midnight the following Friday , they asked us to submit The name of the song and why .....I chose this song ......WHY ??? Listen to the lyrics !!! It says everything that should have been said for that horrible day ........
Billboard was so moved by my choice that they re-released the song by Tina Cousins and asked that we have it on rotation again , I got a year free from my dues and got a year of promo only for my club ❤
ANYONE that knows me knows I speak through my music ..I will post in the comments the lyrics to this song , it was PERFECT for 9/11

She had some fantastic tunes... One of these days I'm going to post Mysterious Times, which is ultimately my favorite song from her.
