Never heard of this show until I realized this aired in Canada. More familiar with Yan Can Cook here in the US, but I can see some similarities! Update: did a quick look up and apparently they act similarly because Martin Yan worked under Stephen Yan for a year.
@@corleone5382 yes he is! He was recently on a Canadian talk show. Here is a link to the video. ruclips.net/video/-ZIvOXp7a0c/видео.htmlsi=ycr1JLBM5jeD6x6_
Wow, I've never even heard of this guy before. Great host and comedy gold awesome show. I'll say he's not the best cook and kinda sloppy compared to Martin yan. It could just be that they rushed him.
When you wok with yan you never wok alone. lol I used watch this in the Philippines in the 80’s.
Why were you in the Philippines in the 80's?
I thought everybody had forgotten about this show. Great show. Great memories.
if you live in the philippines you would have encountered his show before! so much nostalgia
I grow up watching this show
Me too
Wow this is such a blast in the past , i used to watch this with my Grandpa back when i was a little biy 😢😢
Wow! So excited to see this after all these years. I hope to learn lost recipes that my grandparents cooked. 😋
Don't eat Pork. Its very dirty and disgusting according to Islam if you eat pork, you will go to hell. 🙂
Here in the Philippines, this most unforgettable show airs every saturday night during my childhood days. Thanks to this great guy, Stephen Yan.
I love watching this show every Saturday afternoon as a kid in the early 90s.
Dulu tayang di RCTI jaman masih pake decoder tiap siang, hiburan abis pulang sekolah 😅
RPN 9 ba ito noon or IBC 13, Basta pagkatapos nito eh may magandang palabas ka na mapapanood.

I sense a team up soon with uncle roger and yan can cook!
Already had.
@hectorarguelles1596 not with Stephen yan
Thankfully, not like the overly polished cooking shows of today. Such nostalgia!

Why is everyone clapping every now and then. Its distracting.
I see this is the knock off Yan can cook from KQED from America. This is the Canadian knock off version of it😮
Other way around possibly. This show started in 1978, whereas Yan can Cook started in 1982.
This is the og yan lol
Buti na lang hindi pa uso ang pag dudubb. Dikatulad ngsyon kahit english na need pa idubb. Kakaloka. Haha. Mas ok pla tlga noon yung mga palabas.

His sloppiness could be intentional
