For those wondering why the old Volkwagon logo looked like that is because it was founded in the 1930s by Nazi Germany. If you look closely, the lines of the outside resemble a Swastika.

Fun fact, Volkswagen used to make planes for World War II, but after the war, they were banned from making planes so that’s why the logo kind of looks like the same one you could see in World War II (you can also see what side they were on🫤)
