Thank you Pastor Webbon - great message today. We need more men in the church to be spiritual fathers - and faithful pastors like you are faithfully administering Ephesians 4:11-13 - to make that happen. God Bless!
Thank you Brother for another great message. I couldn’t help but think of the “Word Hand” method of getting a full grip on The Word (I believe taught by The Navigators). Hearing, reading, studying, memorizing, and meditating on God’s Word are all the ways we have to truly hold The Word.
Great message, Pastor Joel. You have a great way of explaining the Word. 1st John can be a difficult book to understand but you explained it well. God bless you.
Great message! Back to gospel and theological foundations. We need more of this. Yes politics matter and all that but we need to learn the Word and dig into the word to grow spiritually and stop discussing worldly things all the time. This was very refreshing. Keep it up Pastor 👍🏻
“It’s not obedience” is scripturally inaccurate. “If you love me, you will obey my commandments”. If you do not love Christ you are not saved. Ongoing obedience to Christ is required in order to be saved. “If man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6 If you do not abide in the Lord, by your God-given free will, you should not expect to be saved. It takes a degree of hubris to declare your salvation. The Lord determines whether you are saved or not. “I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” No man will pluck us from the Lord’s hand, but he certainly can choose to remove us from his hand if we choose of our own free will to live as apostates after receiving the truth. You have assurance of salvation in so much as you walk with the Lord. A Christian who forsakes the Lord will not be saved.

Webbon’s sermons are becoming more important by the week! Praise be to God 🙏🏼

Glory to God!
He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His namesake
Great message. Blessed be the church fathers. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water.

Awesome brother. Thank you for this teaching. I can relate to this struggle.

Thank you Pastor joel
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, very helpful message
Thank you
How could I get that book the book you wrote on first John
Justin Peters has an interesting video on the meaning of Ephesian 4:26 (the anger verse). Worth a look, imho.
Where can people find your short book on 1 John?
