- Tia Mowry is keeping her spirits high! The actress spoke with ET's Deidre Behar at the ‘Elle’ Women in Hollywood gala on Monday in Los Angeles, and reflected on how she feels just weeks after announcing that she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, are ending their marriage after 14 years. Tia also gives an update on how their two kids, Cree and Cairo, are doing.

I love Tia and the one who interview her. It was all about what she want to say and how she going forward and nothing else! Now that's how you interview people with comfort, truth, dignity and joy!

The interview was great. Her approach allowed Tia to speak comfortably about her life.
Tia's responses were emotionally reckless. She cannot speak for her kids' emotion because we know kids often crash emotionally when their parents go through a divorce.
Agreed; divorce are a mess. We don’t need to be fixated on the negatives. Have to move forward with hope, optimism, truth and purpose. The people who are interested in other people’s garbage, should watch that toxic appetite.
She did a Phenomenal job by saying to Tia, “I know you’re going through something right now, but” (POSITIVE) I LOVE IT. Such class. ❤️🙏🏾

I love how the interviewer was respectful and Tia answered the questions gracefully. Unfortunately some relationships don't work out I get the sense that Tia is looking out for herself and finding her happiness.

Divorce is hard... the ONLY way she is at this point in dealing with a divorce is ....the relationship was over way before the public found out and she's had a headstart on processing the situation. Otherwise, no ma'am, things are not great two weeks after you ended a 14 year marriage....no way. But, with that said, I wish them both all the best.

Sometimes the divorce comes after the relationship has been dying slowly for years. In this case it is easy to move on fast after the divorce
Exactly! If she’s able to move on so quickly after being with him for over 20 yrs, then she never loved him. I believe she truly loved him and believed in marriage and forever, so she is may just be faking it till she makes it… she’s an actress. The way she’s been acting afterwards comes off as “too much”.
She is doing an amazing job keeping it together. It took monumental effort for me to crack a smile at my coworkers after a breakup and I could hardly speak in coherent sentences and once the door was closed to my office I just cried lol… I wish I had some of her grace!!! I think it takes a lot of strength to keep it together publicly like that.

My opinion from the bits and pieces shared (again my opinion only)
Tia was a child star- her career and well with all was directed by her parents
She married young, had kids, health issues, a continued career
She’s 40…. Over half of her life has been dedicated to others
From her mentioning “better than an illusion”, Corey commenting subliminally about making emotional decisions, him denying cheating on her, her releasing her divorce news on the day her sisters book dropped, and her post saying it’s “ my turn”…..
She simply could have been unhappy with her life, well the part the part that was all about everyone but herself- kinda like a midlife crisis of sorts
She is setting out to prioritize herself, care for herself, and make decisions that are best for herself
She is taking control of Tia because she doesn’t want to look up in another 20-40 yrs with regrets…..
While, I hate to see a marriage fail, is it really successful if you are unhappy and stay? It’s best for everyone in the long run (no matter what it looks like now) to leave…… Everyone deserves their happy.
Wishing them All Love & Light❤ Hopefully whatever it was specifically that caused a divorce, it’s kept between Tia, Corey, & God, the person who they made their covenant with.

The parents are getting divorced and the kids are doing "amazing"?? With such a drastic change in their lives, I kind of find that hard to believe. Sometimes divorce is necessary and I don't advocate for staying in an unhappy marriage, but I feel she's trying too hard to put on a brave front. Us women are expected to be strong all the time and not deal with our true feelings. I hope she allows herself and her children the time to properly mourn this situation. I wish her the best!
Not hard to believe at all. Cree is the oldest and by watching her cooking channel on RUclips you can tell he is a lot closer to Tia than his father, Cory anyway. So when Tia explained to him that mommy and daddy were parting ways he understood cause hes old enough to and he was probably very supportive. Cairo is just a toddler so luckily she doesn't know what's going on. There are cordial ways of divorcing. They're not all nasty. Get over yourself. You don't know these celebs.
And I'm pretty sure before Tia filed for divorce her and cory probably *been* was separated and allowed the kids to process it all waaaay before she announced. Celebs are very private .

We don't know what went on behind closed doors.. to me that's what peace looks like.. my ex made it impossible to drag out the proceedings while we were still trying to settle,, in return my bill far high than his,, even if I was the only provider for my daughter.. that is Peace..
She still in the early stages and besides divorce happens way before the announcement! Women separate emotionally years before the actual act. Trust me she must have gone through phases, and will still encounter challenges that comes with the aftermath, and she chooses not to put them on display.
If it was a constant fight and emotionally draining marriage you would seem happy it’s just peace nothing more nothing less

This is my opinion so hear me out. First I wish her all the best and divorce is not anything I wish on anyone. Divorce is like death. You go through stages.
But I feel that she is i a stage where it has not sunk in yet... We go through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. ...right now it may feel comforting from all the support but once people stop to pay attention, then everything else will show.
