    People used to be sensible, so they were allowed everywhere before. Now with selfie culture, it's risky where one is allowed. If someone injures themselves or worst, everyone finds fault with authorities. Things done for people safety, always don't go well with public... Wear helmet n save your head.. No.... Wear mask and save yourself and everyone else... No... Dont go near Dam, it's slippery and dangerous... No... We want to go and fall!

    Brother, I used to like your videos but this one disappointed me! The way you calling out officers as British and unnecessary commentary! Im not denying the fact that few officers might have taken photos and videos near the dam because they had access to close points of dam! That doesn't mean that all our officers are bad and British! Just because you did not get access to go closer to the dam and shoot your video please don't blame the system and restrictions for general public (not just indians) today you are just one family there and if they allow you to go wherever you want then tomorrow when there is large group of tourists start visiting what are they going to do? Do you think they should allo everyone to go near the dam? And take selfies? How many securities will you appoint to control the crowd? Just for your reference Even the Hampi musical pillar was open to general public but what did we do? Do you think everyone will be so responsible and cautious with our valuable places and things like you? Come on grow up and start thinking logical don't mix your personal emotions and sat anything you want ! If there are places restricted for general public (not just indians) that is to protect those places! I really appreciate your work but be responsible

    Dear Sir,
    Very nice Vlog regarding one of the biggest dams of Coorg.
    I would like to add my personal comments. Hope you will not be angry with me. Please ignore my comments if you deemed them to inappropriate.
    I could understand your frustration, which you expressed throughout your narration too many times. I would like to consider your comments as an expression of a disgruntled individual about the way in which the dam security has been handled by the recognized authorities.
    I am being from Mysore, I know very well how Humans behave whenever they are near the water body. More than four decades back I was the resident of Sarswathipurum and I know the Kukkarahalli Lake as a palm of my hand however I have not visited Kukkarahalli Lake since four decades. Kukkarahalli Lake was a major point for Humans to commit suicide.
    There are many reasons why authorities are not allowing regular people near the dam.
    1. Humans get excited and indulge in all kinds of the most heinous activities when they are closer to magnificent water body such as dam.
    2. The security of the Dam is most important and for any reason authorities do not want to compromise on that.
    3. Another notorious instinct of Humans to take very young kids (who have no idea about the dam and they do not care because they are too young) including pregnant women just for a fun and nothing else. This cannot be supported especially in the close vicinity of the dam. Sometimes even sick people physically and mentally also try to get closer to the dam if it is allowed.
    4. All across US, nobody is allowed or can go very near to the dam and dams are are completely fenced and sometimes one can even see warning that they are electric fence. There are at least three dams where we live in US and I am wife made several attempts to go close to these dams but all our efforts were futile.
    5. In order to ease your frustration, authorities can come up with a method or process so that eligible, sound minded dam enthusiasts can be allowed to have a close look at the Dam. They can create a website where interested individuals can register and their background can be easily checked if they have Aadhaar card and guided limited tour can be arranged by the authorities with heavy security so that any untoward incidents can be avoided and also enthusiasts will get an opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
    Can we expect a kind of process mentioned above in a country like India (labelled as developing country or third world country) and the answer probably can be provided by an ALIEN.

    • @SudeeshKottikkal
      @SudeeshKottikkal  3 года назад

      My only message was that if the restriction was for dam security then entry to all should be restricted, expect for those who are directly related to the dam such as maintenance, upkeep and inspection etc.
      But in Most dams the access is given to any one who can get a call or reference from Sahebru. This is the point that i am trying to put across. Just because some one knows Sahebru doesn't mean that he or she will be well behaved and will not cause damage to dam or to self.
      My message is to stop this kind of discrimination. If its for security concern then all should be stopped.

    • @mysoredurgesha9712
      @mysoredurgesha9712 3 года назад

      @@SudeeshKottikkal Dear Sir,
      You point is very valid and it should be noted. But in life, please tell me where one cannot find Red-tapism, Nepotism, Favoritism and it is all pervasive and one can find the type of things you have mentioned even in burial grounds / crematorium.
      If there is a chance to escape from all these things, life would have been fantastic and I too whole heartedly would have welcomed it.
