you go through life thinking you have everything you need, then awol drops a feature length concert from the archives and you realize how much you were missing out on.
1:04:33 Man, the way Aaron steps back from the mic at that one line in "Sail" in every concert makes me think. It's like he's giving the people going through that type of contemplation the space to say it for themselves. He knows he's not thinking it anymore, but there may be someone out there who is. I suppose it could be that it's just such a sensitive topic, he doesn't want to flout it. Regardless of why he actually does it, I think it shows he takes his music seriously, and the words are said consciously, just as they were written. Anyway, thanks for this gift of a concert. I can't wait to see you live one day.

Scrolling through these comments and I realize how lucky I've been the two times I've seen them. The first was 4/18/13 so they played the entire first album, including Knights as the encore and THISKIDSNOTALRIGHT because it had released recently. It was also Kenny's birthday and he totally crowd surfed at some point! The second time was 7/30/15, the second to last show of the Run Tour in Reno. I was fortunate enough to get the meet and greet package, the first band I'd ever met. The venue for both shows was this super narrow building so each concert was super intimate. K. Flay even opened for the 7/30/15 show which in retrospect is super crazy

Been a fan since I was literally 3 years old (I get it, I'm young) and I've only recently gone back and found Awolnation again and I'm really appreciating their songs in a different way now. I got a CD copy of Aaron's old band under the influence of Giants which was apparently super rare, and have merch from each album so far. I hope they go on tour again after Covid, as watching a band grow from so young and never seeing them live as I live in the UK and can't easily travel abroad is really annoying, but Aaron's music is insane, I love it. Can't wait for this premiere, I know its gonna be amazing.

This is such a nice comment. I was introduced to some of my favorite artists from older siblings, and I’ve passed down my favorites to my younger siblings. So my 11 year old brother loves Fall Out Boy and Awolnation because he’s heard them since he was in diapers.
