I have nothing against naga...I love you guys. But in my opinion lamkal and anal are mizo tribes. And i based my opinion entirely on their language and traditional clothes and culture.
What a pity, you people want everything, you people want everyone to include in your tribe, for your kind information, even meiteis also called loubuk as loubuk so are we meitei?? We were never kuki or mizo or will be, there is zero matching between Lamkang and kuki or mizo. I'm not hating you guys but I'm so sorry to say stop dragging every tribes of nagas as kuki or mizo. We can never be or were your tribes. Nothing similar in our blood behaviour thinking mindset lifestyle cooking style zero match.

Wow..... Beautiful It's my first time coming across this Naga tribe..... Greeting from Nagaland..... Lol.... Btw someone please give me some basic information about this tribe..... In which of Manipur they are found and thier population etc etc......
They may be politically Naga, but they are ethnically Old Kuki, and that doesn't mean they are exactly the same as the New Kuki tribes like the Thadou, Hmar, Paite, Gangte, Simte, Lushai, etc. There are few similarities and few differences, but all Kuki-Zo tribes, old or new kuki, have the same origin, i.e., they all came from a cave. Most of the Old Kuki tribes have now drifted away from the Kuki-Zo group, like the Aimol, Anaal (Pakan), Maring, Koren (Koireng), Kom, Chiru, and Chothe tribes, due to political issues. Few of them have joined hands with the Nagas, and few wish to remain under one umbrella as the Rem community.
Loubuk = small hut in Jhum field, meaning is same and very very close and similar to Mizo- Zomi- Kuki- Hmar languages, Lamkang dialects sound similar to Pawi( Laimi) of Mizoram and Chin Hills, I hope it is right ..please do correct me ..
Even after wiping out Lamkang populace to near extinction & settling in Lamkang burn off villages n land, if such incident hadn't taken place Lamkang probably could be one of the most populous tribe in Chandel & probably one of a big tribe in manipur itself. Our ancestors & us a new generation of young Lamkang felt the burn, it still lingers in our mind, our folklores dont lie of such incident, Christianity came in between least we forgive but the scar remains Yet here u still want to claim Lamkang to Kuki-chin-Mizo conglomerates. Where have u burried ur shame and guilt. The linguistic similiarity is the fact of geographycal closeness, words past from one location to another during the early stage of agrarian & Nomadic lifestyle, especially during constant hunting and gathering at different places, who knows the particular tribe having similar linguistic accent might have had contact with the Lamkang during hunting & gathering and might hv learn the dialect from the lamkang lol.
@@amorengthang6257Brother i will not claim you as Mizo-Kuki but it is a fact our languages are related. Tribal wars are common, even amongst brethren tribes.
