Wonderful alternative to colouring, Yana! The contemporary look is beautiful. Love these gorgeous cards. Thank you, for all that brilliant information :-)
I think this is why Copic markers were originally created, lol. I’ve always liked the “comic book/manga” style of coloring. And by the way I love your Spellbinders collection.
This creates such a different "look" and I really like it. It has a more modern graphic look. Great job. All three cards are beautiful. I love the foiled background.
I am so happy that you’ve presented this to us/me. I struggle so much with perfecting water coloring and this is so much more my style. Thank you thank you, thank you. It’s a beautiful blend of modern and traditional. I love it.
This is such a fantastic idea! I can't wait to give it a try. I might have to try stamping some of my images in very light ink and then colouring over them as if I was doing no-line colouring, and then outlining them because I don't really have that many outline stamps, but the plus side of that is that it might help me figure out where to do the darker sections. Thank you for sharing this, and the tip about waiting for the ink to dry is brilliant. Makes perfect sense but that doesn't mean it's obvious, at least to me. Thanks for your creativity. You're wonderful.
That's so cool, I love the crocus! The gold foil looks jazzy and one could use circle punches to achieve this look or circle die cuts. Thank you for your sweet video
Oh, this is soooo for me! I've been wanting to try out the anime style of coloring on a card for a while now, but haven't gotten around to it. It just seems to make the elements more modern. So glad to see you doing this! And man, how do you get such perfect foiling on those solid circles???!!!
Awww, thank you, Ritzy! As for the foiled circles - I foil them twice. Also, paper makes a WORLD of a difference. Simon's 120lb white smooth cardstock is best for these circles
I don't use my small set of copics because I feel the blending doesn't come out well at all. This technique should really help. I'll give it a try. Thx.
Your Cards are really pretty and it does remind me of a art graphic design that I had to do in high school to pass a grade I'm going to try this again. Love your coloring Yana❤😊❣
