You would not believe the journey this video took me on. I looked at the time period with the rulership you defined and it was an incredible time in my life that I had forgotten. My fiancé had been killed in an accident during that time, so I had taught myself never to think back on it because it hurt too much. But now it's been more than a decade since then and I decided to look into it to find out what it had to say about my soul's purpose and who is here to support me in that. It was incredible. Initially I thought I'd lost all the information because I couldn't find any emails from that time. But then I looked at old diaries and photo albums I used to keep. I found that almost all of my poetry, life drawing, love letters and diary entries were from this tiny 10 month period of my life. I was seeing and feeling and experiencing so much that it spilled over into extremely detailed journal entries for the whole period. Both before and after my fiancé's death I was surrounded by amazing people, animals and places, doing incredible projects, and pouring it into art and writing. Thanks for making me go back and unlock all these things I had buried.

Great information Komilla ji. I am currently going through amatyakaraka/atmakaraka phase. And the task master is making me pay off my karmik duties big time. This is also being a phase of my inner transformation and I feel it within me that I am on the right path to achieve what I have come for, the ordeal is just making way for it.

This technique played out perfectly in my own chart. Atma in the 7th Jupiter, Sun 8th Amaty, three planets in my 10th in Uttara phalguni ruled by Sun my Amaty. Is there anyway we can check these planets in d-20 for progress. I have them combined in my d20 in the 10th in Sagittarius. I'm really hoping that I knocked out my souls purpose in this life because it's been tough. I'd appreciate anyones advice on reading d-20, books ect.
My Atmakaraka is Saturn in Ashlesha 26 41 degrees the Gandanta point which we are going threw presently. It is also parivartan with Moon Dhanishta.. I think these two balance each other out well. I'm into healing, psychology, dancing, poetry, palm-reading, astrology,,,,

In rasi Shani is in Singha, in the 11th. In navamsa Shani is in Tula, in the 10th. In navamsa Rahu is Atmakaraka at 9 degrees = 21 degrees in Scorpio, in the 11th.

My AmK is Moon. In the D1 chart I have Libra Ascendant and Moon is placed in the 9th house in the sign of Gemini, Punarvasu Nakshatra.
In the D10 chart Moon is also in the 9th house but it's in Sagittarius.
In Karakamsa Lagna Moon is placed in the 2nd house. I studied fiscal law and now after some delay (Saturn is opposite to the Moon in the natal chart) I have been studied to get a master degree in economics. It seems I must have high education in one or another way.

I really appreciate this video Komilla ji...my atmakaraka mars is in 6th with my amatyakaraka Jupiter in 12th but retrograde. I have always had father like figures helping me in spiritual matters or helping me to gain knowledge in some area...I don't always follow through with the advice though lol...I now have a better understanding of this placement...thank you 🙏🏼
I’m an pretty interested in Rahu/ketu as Rahu conjunct my Sun, and is potentially atmakaraka with Amatya being Saturn. Still new to Vedic system ( many years as a tropical astrologer ) so am open minded to a system being different, but my life really feels as though Saturn is the atma, and Jupiter the amatya. I am wondering if this is just the possible blindness caused by having Rahu close (2°) off my sun? I have certainly been interested in all kinds of odd things, but my life is pretty Saturnian.

In d1, AK (Mars) & AmK (Mercury) are in the 7th house in Gemini.
In d9, AK (Mars) is still in the 7th house in gemini with mutual aspect to Venus in the 1st.
AmK (Mercury) is in Pisces in the 4th house, in mutual aspect of moon in the 10th in Virgo.
In Karakamsa lagna, Mercury (AmK) and Mars (AK) is in the first house in gemini.

Thank you, I had thought for me it was Shani and Guru, ( which I liked) but I did not include the nodes, which changes it to Rahu helped by Shani. Rahu in VERY close to Surya in kumbha, and 5th house. Shani in Kanya in 12th. Enough, I thought to have Surya gnawed on by Rahu, but I can see the value of it from here a bit.
My Amatyskaraka is Jupiter ruler of 3 and 6 but it is combust 8 minutes from the Sun. Jupiter 16 degrees 49 minutes Satabhishak the Sun at 16 degrees 41 minutes. I heard someone say that because the Sun has combust that planet it will take up some of the responsibilities of the combust planet. Does that in your opinion mean that the Sun becomes amatyakaraka by default because of the combustion?
Amatyakaraka and bhratri karaka are together
Always with combust planets they need the support of Sun to get their message across so in this case the Amatyakaraka needs the help of the Sun who remain the bhratri karaka

Why is it that all the 'planets' are thought to be males?
I have Scorpio Lagna in Rashi and Navamsha (Vargottama) and my Atmakaraka is Moon in Revathi (22º 22') in the 5th house Pisces with Amatmakaraka Mercury (20º 44') in Hasta with Sun in Uttara Phalguni in the 11th house Virgo. Moon and Mercury are in direct aspect as is Moon and Sun. Ketu is in Pushya in Cancer the 5th house from the Moon. Moon is in Revati Nakshatra and Mercury in Hasta. Mars and Venus (and Pluto) are in Magha, Saturn (and Neptune) in Chitra, Jupiter in Mrgashira, Rahu in UttaraShada. Saturn is exalted in 5 charts and Moon is fallen in 5 as well. *Rahu is at 8º 13', which according to your subtraction method would put it at 21º 47' (?) - and therefore it will become my Amatmakaraka because it is greater than Mercury at 20º 44'*

Some Questions..how do we decipher our souls purpose ?..or does the dasha give us the clues when it's time for discovery..what happens if AK and AmK are conjunct in the same degree and Gandanta.? How does one decipher this very knotty problem? Also would you say if AK and AmK are in a 2/12 relationship to each other it causes confusion and misunderstanding?

You need to know who you are (not in the perspective of how society identifies you, like enginer, doctor, good person etc) but your true self. Once you know who you are, you will automatically know what's your soul purpose is

The Amk/Ak antardasha was traumatic, in pre-teens-early teens. Experienced a lot of harassment, came to loathe myself and everyone around. The Amk dasha in total was very eventful. I took huge and bold decisions. Leap of faith. I dont know whether the decisions were right or wrong, but I just know that it could not have been any other way. Dreading the impending MD of the Ak.

I'm a aries ascendant and my 10th Lord Saturn is in the 8th house of Scorpio.
But my Amatyakaraka is Venus and it's placed in Sagittarius. My Karakamsha lagna is Pisces.
