I am a Rajasthani student learning engineering outside of state. This video really helped me to know my state more in terms of education and industrial sectors . I got a bigger picture of the problems and the potential solutions to utilize the capabilities of the state. With the help of technology and proper awareness for the importance of right education and quality training my state could show its true power. I would definitely like to do something in my state for its people and just not grab a IT job or be corporate guy.

Being a Rajasthani! The MGNREGA is not properly executing there! As I'm a Student of Government school i have seen people that are just sitting in ground of school not doing any work there, from morning to evening they sit there or just register themselves in register then they go home, not doing any work there, Government should check this and take strict action on this! There should be proper mandate of work and register properly!! And due to this they get paid without doing anything!! And the problem of freebies, recently before the helding of election the Congress government just given phone to womens and girls starting from 9th class! As in this there can be many things that can be developed but freebies is only policy for both BJP and congress to gain the votebank! Seriously you need to address this issue!

Major portion of tax collection is going in subsidies and we all know there is no transparency. I m the student of Rajasthan veterinary university we don’t have professors for few of our subjects, means their is the lack of teachers yet there are my people unemployed i can see my seniors who have cleared entrance for assistant professor but government is not releasing vacancies as much. I studied in a school in Tamilnadu where most of my classmates were marwadi from Rajasthan. I was quite shocked to know that many girls were engaged in eight standard itself. They were showing little interest in studies and many of them failed in 12th CBSE board and appeared for reexam . The reason they said was they don't have the necessity to study as they have their own family business to take care of.
marwari community is like that. my partner and friends are rajasthani but not marwari and i have stayed in rajasthan, ther3 is no such concept in other communities

@@Swapnil4055 BJP might be a better option at this point but even they have to use the same policies as congress for 5 10 years till they implement policies that will actually help the situation get better. This is simply because of low education and literacy rate in general. Uneducated people perceive a party's worth in terms of freebies they offer. So giving out freebies is the only way to get votes in this state. Implementing schemes that help in development gets difficult because of corruption and politics involved(whether it is BJP or Congress, they both will have the same corrupt MLAs and MPs in their administration). So the only option that may actually works in this scenario is NGOs. If NGOs help educate the children and youth, they will be able to understand what their state requires and eventually they will ask for those changes. And because of this, political parties will have to change their manifesto accordingly which in turn, will help the state develop.

Great video, a book called - India is broken by Ashok Mody actually talks about unemployment as a persistent problem in India since independence and how lack of efficient policies on manufacturing sector has led to increase in unemployment rate further. This is also the reason why many people who are unemployed are the perfect fuel used by the politicians for communal tensions and vote banks.

I am from Rajasthan and I completely agree with your video you kept all the valid points well. The main issue is lack of manufacturing, industries and pvt jobs in IT/Management or Automobile. Due to which everyone is running after govt jobs plus govt does nothing to improve either college education or school education. The focus is always on poor, giving freebies, subsidies and money to them. There has been no focus on bringing any sez for software or big factories. There hasn't been much new deals on ground in Rajasthan investors summit. The state is not able to think progressively due to which it's youth is forced to migrate to delhi/mumbai/chennai/bangalore/hyderbad for jobs and their future. I feel we need a CM who is well educated and thinks of education and industries first rather than making people happy with 2000 unit free electricity for farmers or giving smartphone to women. I feel someone like Ashwini Vaishnav should be made the CM he is from rajasthan too.

All cash crops, fish, and tourism, just these 3 sectors bring in more than 120 billion dollars, not Rupees. Add to that another 20 billion Dollars from remittance. Who cares about Govt jobs. Example: A doctor working in India can only earn Rs. 2 lakhs a month, while the same doctor can earn Rs. 40 lakhs a month in a small country like Estonia. Keralites don't work for peanuts like the rest of India.

Being from Rajasthan i can agree, everything presented here is very true. In villages they still get their kids married in childhood and then women have kids and don't study. Also men are bombarded with responsibilities because of marrige and end up doing small jobs instead of apply for high level exams which will take time to clear

Rare example where even after the public voting so wisely changing govt in each term much of them haven't done much. People of Rajasthan deserve Kerala like development.
Unfortunately, this is a vicious cycle in most of the poor states. The poor will vote for politicians who will give them immediate relief in terms of subsidy (for obvious reasons, one will naturally want to sustain in the present before thinking about fututre). The government will not have enough money to build infra and create jobs. People will remain poor, thus expect more subsidies, and will vote for someone who promises more. And the cycle continues.

Key reason for unemployment is the 1.high electricity bill and non continuous supply. If the factory doesn't' get cheap electricity..then how could the job produce? 2. Low water supply. And unemployed among educated youth higher than skilled labour.

Being a Rajasthani! The MGNREGA is not properly executing there! As I'm a Student of Government school i have seen people that are just sitting in ground of school not doing any work there, from morning to evening they sit there or just register themselves in register then they go home, not doing any work there, Government should check this and take strict action on this! There should be proper mandate of work and register properly!! And due to this they get paid without doing anything!! And the problem of freebies, recently before the helding of election the Congress government just given phone to womens and girls starting from 9th class! As in this there can be many things that can be developed but freebies is only policy for both BJP and congress to gain the votebank! Seriously you need to address this issue!

I am also from Rajasthan.. and literally this video helped me understand the loop holes in system. I can totally relate to each thing discussed here. Major portion of tax collection is going in subsidies and we all know there is no transparency. I m the student of Rajasthan veterinary university we don’t have professors for few of our subjects, means their is the lack of teachers yet there are my people unemployed i can see my seniors who have cleared entrance for assistant professor but government is not releasing vacancies as much.

I studied in a school in Tamilnadu where most of my classmates were marwadi from Rajasthan. I was quite shocked to know that many girls were engaged in eight standard itself. They were showing little interest in studies and many of them failed in 12th CBSE board and appeared for reexam . The reason they said was they don't have the necessity to study as they have their own family business to take care of.
marwari community is like that. my partner and friends are rajasthani but not marwari and i have stayed in rajasthan, ther3 is no such concept in other communities

@@Swapnil4055 BJP might be a better option at this point but even they have to use the same policies as congress for 5 10 years till they implement policies that will actually help the situation get better. This is simply because of low education and literacy rate in general. Uneducated people perceive a party's worth in terms of freebies they offer. So giving out freebies is the only way to get votes in this state. Implementing schemes that help in development gets difficult because of corruption and politics involved(whether it is BJP or Congress, they both will have the same corrupt MLAs and MPs in their administration). So the only option that may actually works in this scenario is NGOs. If NGOs help educate the children and youth, they will be able to understand what their state requires and eventually they will ask for those changes. And because of this, political parties will have to change their manifesto accordingly which in turn, will help the state develop.

Great video, a book called - India is broken by Ashok Mody actually talks about unemployment as a persistent problem in India since independence and how lack of efficient policies on manufacturing sector has led to increase in unemployment rate further. This is also the reason why many people who are unemployed are the perfect fuel used by the politicians for communal tensions and vote banks.

I am from Rajasthan and I completely agree with your video you kept all the valid points well.
The main issue is lack of manufacturing, industries and pvt jobs in IT/Management or Automobile.
Due to which everyone is running after govt jobs plus govt does nothing to improve either college education or school education.
The focus is always on poor, giving freebies, subsidies and money to them.
There has been no focus on bringing any sez for software or big factories. There hasn't been much new deals on ground in Rajasthan investors summit.
The state is not able to think progressively due to which it's youth is forced to migrate to delhi/mumbai/chennai/bangalore/hyderbad for jobs and their future.
I feel we need a CM who is well educated and thinks of education and industries first rather than making people happy with 2000 unit free electricity for farmers or giving smartphone to women.
I feel someone like Ashwini Vaishnav should be made the CM he is from rajasthan too.

All cash crops, fish, and tourism, just these 3 sectors bring in more than 120 billion dollars, not Rupees. Add to that another 20 billion Dollars from remittance. Who cares about Govt jobs. Example: A doctor working in India can only earn Rs. 2 lakhs a month, while the same doctor can earn Rs. 40 lakhs a month in a small country like Estonia. Keralites don't work for peanuts like the rest of India.

How about making a video about what's going on in Andhra Pradesh after it partition from Telangana? How the youth of AP is paying price to that separation. Rare example where even after the public voting so wisely changing govt in each term much of them haven't done much. People of Rajasthan deserve Kerala like development.
Unfortunately, this is a vicious cycle in most of the poor states. The poor will vote for politicians who will give them immediate relief in terms of subsidy (for obvious reasons, one will naturally want to sustain in the present before thinking about fututre). The government will not have enough money to build infra and create jobs. People will remain poor, thus expect more subsidies, and will vote for someone who promises more. And the cycle continues.

Education is suffered as government teaches all kids in a non native language. Rajasthan has been suffering from Hindi imposition. Rajasthani language must be the medium of instruction as it was before independence

@@cubsingh than dear why shahitya academy and UGC has recognised rajasthani. Even if you are right then it doesn't mean that someone will force us to read in a not so related language. Hindi imposition is the worst thing happened in history of Rajasthan
@@badmash3210 no one cares which academy has recognised what...we are the people of Rajasthan and we know much better than a random person sitting in whatever government post and distributing random titles...the name 'Rajasthan' did not exist before 1949...it was known as Rajputana...how can you claim to to have a language to a name that did not even exist...I am from mewad and we speak mewadi....not marwadi..not shekhawati...not Hindi...and definitely not something fictional known as rajasthani

@@cubsingh also, I am against hindi imposition in Rajasthan education. Let it be in whatever language which earlier kingdom used to follow. Hindi imposition is one of the main reason of low literacy rate in Rajasthan. There are many research paper on this topic.

I am from Rajasthan and the point is neither bjp nor congress ever concerned about the education system in Rajasthan infact they want that people will never get the education bcoz if they will then free ke rewadi kisko denge or rewadi ka jhasa yh log uneducated ko hi de skte hai and since they just want to be in politics so they abolish each other’s political schemes because if any one of them is able to achieve their goals then the next election will be in favour of them and also they will solve the problem then what would be the next political topic in their rally I am not saying they can’t …. Just saying they don’t want to …….
