Big safety tip: When pivoting the scooter handlebar, once you pull that lever up to lock it into place, always also rotate the plastic ring, which acts as a safety for the lever.
Lever has some screws which may come lose due to vibrations, the plastic ring will prevent it from unlocking when riding the scooter.
If handlebars get loose when riding, you are almost guaranteed to have a crash.
Good thing u wear helmet.
So do not ignore the plastic ring, just to save one second, your skin will thank you.
Hello, thanks for the tip, this is a newer model so I cant rotate the ring on this model, I checked few tutorials here on youtube to understand what you mean and found out that rotation is not available on newer models.
@@JustaTravelerVids Oh, ok, noted. Yes, saw the new locking method, you need to pull lever up a bit to unlock, then you can pull down.
The new xiaomi scooter 3 has it, maybe also 1S if its recently made. Mine is built in 2020 and doesn't have it.
The scooter 3 also has disk brake improvement, now both disk pads move and push on the disk, on mine one pad is fixed.

Use the suspension in the column of the handlebars. You can get it really cheap or make it your self with some rubber of the inner tube of a tire.

impressive, you still had like 3 bars full and maybe 4th blinking after 10km. That means still over 60 percent battery.
I also have 1s, only used it for short trips of 3.5km until now.
I use energy saving whenever I can when driving and going downhill :)

@@nabilyt6831 Yes you could, but you can also charge it in school just in case. You have 3 modes, economic, medium, and sport mode. Use economic if worried about distance.

Hello. I was on a 65% battery level, 3 bars. But I also turned on the lights 2 km before I arrived. After this ride I added one more battery, so now it has double range than before.

@@kwame.7093 i don’t have one but it is around 15-23km depending on speed and weight and what i mean by that is that if u weigh 70-80 kg and drive sport mode u will get about 15km out of it and if u go with drive mode then maybe more

Ok, so my 1s has about 11 km range, total. Tf is wrong here? I mean, i take a ride for about 6 km and my battery indicate 54%. I don't get it. No matter what gear i use. It has around 140 km total run. It is broken or something?...

I have added extra battery. Before I could ride around 15/18 km range, now around 25/27 km.

Looks like a pleasant commute, but you do use the sidewalk a lot. I don't know if that's okay in Serbia, but even if it was, I would feel bad driving that close to unsuspecting pedestrians, especially when the roads don't look that bad.
I ride my scooter in a similar city (Prague, Czech Republic) and I'm really trying not to sway the public opinion against the various e-vehicles.

I think it is not as comfortable as a bike but at the same time it's a different kind of position. I like it as I find myself sitting a lot at home so the standing braced stance is welcome.
