Back when I was more on the depressive side of life I looked at a nihilist meme. It was a picture of a person standing at the foot of the hill and asking "why bother?". At the same time I had a video running of Kennedy speaking about the moon missions. And he remembered a conversation he had with a mountain climber he asked "why do you want to climb the mountain?". The climber replied "Why, because it´s there, I want to climb it." That was such a weird moment for me back then but it provided me with an answer for why to live, because life is here.
I can really relate to that, and quite honestly, meaning is infinite. We will never ever run out of things to explore, learn, and conquer in a universe as vast as this.
I've never liked that response because it can be applied to anything, even negative stuff. Why did you attack that person with a skateboard? Because he was there. Why did you burn down the building? Because it was there. Why do you force white people to say "black lives matter" under duress? Because they're there.
The only one I can think of still gives me chills. I'm getting goosebumps as I type: I'm Irish and back in 1995, aged 14, I went on a family holiday to Florida. We stayed in an apartment on Anna Marie Island on Florida's west coast. There were 2 bedrooms. My parents had one room and my younger siblings had the other room. I was the oldest, so I slept on the pull down bed which was out in the main living area. On the first night, I had this lucid dream in which an anonymous boy was standing beside my bed and staring at me. It was extremely clear and I remember sitting up in bed (in my dream) with tears pouring out of one eye. I lifted my hand up to wipe my eye. This action woke me up but I found myself literally sitting up and wiping my eye, which had tears in it. I completely freaked out and went hammering on my parents' door. I explained to them what happened. I noticed my mum looking at me weirdly. I asked her what was wrong. She said she was also having a nightmare about some young boy standing beside her. Weird. I slept on the floor of my siblings' room after that. Freaked me out.
@@knightstormbringer I didn't actually check. This was 1995 so there was no Goggle or Wikipedia to rely on. Freaked both me and my mum out at the time. I was uncomfortable in the apartment after that
Neil Kelly reminds me of when I was young, my brother and I shared a room. I woke up and he was standing beside his bed staring at the wall. I told him to go to bed but he just continued to stand there. So I went to my parents room to tell them what was happening and found my brother in bed with them because he had a nightmare earlier. 😯
I’ve had so many synchronicities in my life, even now as an adult but the one that meant the most to me (I didn’t know about synchronicities then) was on my 17th birthday. As my parents sang me “Happy Birthday” at night as we were out of town, 1 by 1, 17 butterflies came to my window. It was night time. It wasn’t moths. It was big beautiful butterflies. Before that happened, I was sad because I had just lost my grandmother and told my parents I wish there was a such thing where our passed loved ones could visit us. I told them that when I see butterflies, I think of her. My dad then said, maybe she’ll visit you as a butterfly if it’s real. Then the butterflies showed up. They stayed at the window for about half an hour too. We were all in shock. Still don’t know what to think of it.
I was in a bar with a friend, we had just come to the end of our drinks and had run out of money. Jokingly I said "wouldn't it be great if there was enough money for another round of drinks underneath the ashtray" we laughed. I couldn't resist the urge, however ridiculous it was, to look underneath the Ashtray, so I did. As crazy as it sounds and much to our surprise, underneath the ashtray there was the exact amount of money in change for one more round of beers between the 2 of us!!! That was nearly 30 years ago...It blew my mind and I'll never forget it!! 😆
Funny you should say that, I’ve just had a sequence of events that seemed meaningful though I’m not sure what the purpose would be. And a video on synchronicity pops up as though to validate the events having a purpose.
same dawg i’ve had so many the past few months and now i finally have a video about it! with my favorite game with tons of existential themes i find fascinating aswell!
Agreed. You will be surprised where the universe will take you and what it will show you when you start paying attention and acknowledging what it has to say. Steer into the strangeness and see where it takes you and you will believe. Many people choose to ignore these signs and "Coincidences" because of the implications they have.
Especially when I am driving I notice so many things around as if some force is trying to align all actions. Like a bird landing on a roof at the exact same moment I enter a pot hole ...
this is really out there but maybe synchronicities get more likely the more intense the "vibe" is. on burningman they had an experiment with random number generators and the number generation changed when they burned the man. burners.me/2014/03/16/xor-this-burning-man-used-to-scientifically-prove-magic/ this article calls it magic im not so sure about that but there is definitely something of value there. also watch out you can go easily "crazy" when u start actively looking for synchronicities
Coincidence - a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances without apparent causal connection. - I'm not sure how that isn't real We're pattern seekers and we see what we choose to see. Things just happen around us and we feel the need to make sense of it as everything is supposed to correlate to something else with the way we think.
A few weeks ago I watched a video describing one of Carl Jung's own experiences with synchronicity, in which a patient of his described to him a vivid dream of a scarab beetle she had. Jung then looked to his window to see that there was in fact a kind of scarab beetle, rare in that part of europe, trying to enter his window at that very moment. That was late at night for me. I went to bed not long after. As I was dressing for work the next morning I noticed a large, shiny beetle was flying just outside my window. It was determined to enter my room, just as Jung's beetle had been. I looked up beetles native to my area immediately after and discovered that the one I saw was indeed a member of the scarab family.
I met this girl who worked at the same place as me and we started seeing each other. We had literally had everything in common, we even both dropped out of college for the same reasons. Our mother’s were both of aboriginal ancestry and were hair dressers and raised sheep and goats. Our fathers were both moustached white carpenters even working in the same city at the time. We even had the same personality flaws which lead to the ending of our relationship. Before this I had always wondered if I would ever find a partner who really understood me. Maybe we understood each other all too well. Edit: I recently remembered that our mothers also both had llamas and both had male Great Pyrenees farm dogs that they were looking to re-home because they were both selling their farms and moving into houses in town at the same time.
It's typically best when two people can make up for where the other is lacking, I think the old biblical idea of that is very interesting; where before Eve, Adam was wondering aimlessly trying to find a mate unsuccessfully. And after several failed attempts God divided Adam and created another human out of a part of him. Meaning that we as a species are torn in two, forever destined to seek out the person that fills out the part that's missing or lacking. We're dependent on each other because we are each other. Hang in there, and nice story 👌
twin flame relationship everybody wants a partner who fully understands them until they meet their mirror image. only enter this type of relationship if you are ready to ascend to your highest spiritual level as it is incredibly challenging.
Synchronicity has gotten to the point where I don't even give it a second thought anymore. I shouldn't have my mind blown to one of the underlining foundations on how our reality is structured. It use to give me more faith in myself, the universe, and the infinite interconnecting eternal essence some call God. But, it's creates an odd situation where my faith has a bit of dependency on an outside influence rather than me just having 100% faith 100% of the time regardless of what is happening or not. Reality can be extremely surreal at times. Throw psychedelics into the mix and life is changed forever.
Its pretty much the same for me. I see synchronicity as the Universes way of communicating with humans. I notice it when it happens, which is often, but its very normal at this point.
@@wolfbeam9169 But WHAT is the universe SAYING??? It's usually such meaningless things. Like a word I'm reading and someone says the same thing on the radio at the exact time I read it.
@Artisan I disagree. I think faith is what creates God. I believe my praying makes me believe in my chosen form / image of God, and that is what helps answer my prayers. The strength of my belief in a possible fiction. I look at it like a placebo that works for me. I do believe we are not just "meat machines", that we have spiritual abilities, and that life is a miracle and as we broaden our consciousness we can perceive more miracles. I believe all life is connected, and we can access all knowledge at times. But I don't intellectually believe in God as an all powerful entity, even though that's how I conceptualize this Oneness we're all part of.
@@SandyCheeks63564 it means whatever you want it to mean. sometimes you'll learn something truly life-changing and sometimes they may seem pretty random. The fact of the matter is, when they happen, it's special.
I once got Google street view up on my tablet, so my housebound grandmother could see her childhood home, and on the front door of the house was a 'welcome home' banner...
Gonna share my most recent synchro with you guys, and it's very deep. My uncle died with chron's disease (it was actually pneumonia infection after a sucessful stomach surgery due to chrons just basically "unlucky"). He was 38, he worked as salesman at the mall in a music/book store, and at weekends or so he would play at night clubs with his bands, he was a musician and had multiple projects throught his life, althought he had one with this local band in my city, in which he gave most of the ideas, called the "Candyman Club", they do covers of mostly 80's pop and rock music. One of his favorite songs ever was Save a Prayer - Duran Duran. So there was this one night, last year, when Candyman would play at a small pub, and they would do a small tribute to Gus (me uncle). Me and my dad were undecisive about going, but we ended up giving in. That's when something odd happened, on the radio we were listening in the car on the way there, Say a Prayer started playing, my dad, with somewhat of an ironic point of view said "look, Gus really wanted us to go". As we get in the pub and the show goes on, the frontman starts speaking about Gus, the things he used to say, and how one time he said to them " Look, i only play with you guys because we get to play Say a Prayer". Obviously Gus was being sarcastic, as he was the big head of the project at the time, they used to call him "the Oracle". So they play Say a Prayer, in tribute to him, and me, dad and my aunts obviously cry like babies. One of my distant aunts who was there, is known to be a "medium", she can sometimes see spirits and such, and she's highly participative in her Umbanda group as a "catalyst" of sorts, means she gets to recieve spirits to manisfest thought her body at times during the events. She said to me, when we were outside smoking, privately: " I saw Gus next to the table where we were, he was happy to see us". I'm the only other person in the family that can play music, so i feel rather "responsible" for his heritage and to keep his legacy of making music, i'm struggling and unemployed because i really can't think of doing something else with my life, and no one listens to my music. I might be wrong, maybe i should be working with my degree or something else, but i feel like it's worth believing a dream, for him, he dedicated his life to music, he never got rich, or famous, and he didn't want that, all he wanted was to able to live of music. He will never be forgotten by those who knew him, he never made a single enemy, and he was just a funny creature you couldn't spend 10 minutes with him without him doing something silly to make you laugh and cheer you up. Thank you for your time, i really needed somewhere to put this things.
I feel a similar bond with my garndfather. He wrote a poem dedicated to me saying "I know you will be born soon enough, you'll fall like the meditative rain of October, and I know you shall be the great poet that me and all our ancestors have been waiting for, because that night when I looked at the sky I saw you like a shooting star, and I knew your blood was fluctuating across the cosmos" (this is a rough translation, as the language was spanish). So what do you know? I was born in an October when it was raining, at 5:00 PM, and I have not yet read my grandparents' book, but my father tells me I'm exactly like him. In my case I won't be a poet, but an artist, and yet, here I find myself writing the lyrics for Black Metal bands.... So, may I ask you about your music projects? Please give me names, do you have a Bandcamp account?
@@alafosca5724 That's a real beautiful poem by your gramps. I'm trying to start my recordings with voice and everything, so far, the only thing i have uploaded is a couple of beats on soundcloud, they're not mixed so they might sound very odd depending on your audio output. Since you're a black metal guy you might not like it. Speaking of it, i don't think poetry and music lyrics are so fundamentally different, you might be indeed entitled of your gramps legacy. I'll leave you the link just in case you wanna listen to something different soundcloud.com/gxxrdian. Thank you for reading my story btw.
@@gxrdian Hey, I expected a style more in the lines of the usual Lo-Fi beats, but these beats are more deep... In fact, your music is not so different from some of the things I listen to, since it has a very close approach to Ambient, and I'm all in for Ambient Synth/Atmospheric Music. In this case the fantasy is broken though, the Hip Hop elements makes them more tangible, it's not as dark or etherical, it's more like watching the modern world from a conscious self. It reminds me of Vexare, when I used to listen to EDM, since I can sense the flux of time in your songs. Really, these are the perfect example to represent time, time on a human perception. It was a very pleasant surprise, really... Let me know if you ever drop beats with voice over them! Just type it here or send me a message through arnaudecastrosistach@gmail.com Also, I'm sorry for asking this but could you write some of your most important music inspirations? Maybe it's time for me to research on this kind of music.
@@alafosca5724 OH damn. i wasn't expecting someone to actually listen or dropping a feedback that constructive. Thanks a lot really, for your ears and your time. I'm sorry for the mixing, if you don't use headphones they will probably sound really bad, and by bad i mean not the way i wanted them to or expected it to be when i was doing em. I have many, many different inspirations. I listen to things like synthwave (HOME, A.l.i.s.o.n, Timecop199something) up to nu metal ( Deftones, Slipknot, Mudvayne). I also grew up listening to a lot of 80's because of my dad, like R.E.M, Depeche Mode, New Order... I listen to a looooot of different genres, i even dig some reggae roots sometimes, it depends on the day and my mood. But whwnever i'm making my own music, i don't really think about anything specific, i try to let it flow with whatever i have inside me and what i know how to do. Some of the drum elements in some tracks are very similar to what the present trap scene comes up with. I don't dig most of the mainstream stuff, but i'm a big fan of Lil Peep and Juice WRLD, and some other underground "emo" trapper like Convolk, Guardin, sewerperson, nothing, nowhere. I try to make it so my tracks go away from the generic "Lil peep type beat" etc, and instead just borrow a bit of the elements it has. I'm not yet sure when i'm about to start the voice recordings and such... I would've started sooner if it wasn't for COVID because i need to go over a friend's house who is a producer and has recording gear... but i hope soon, i'mma send you for sure when they're done. Thanks a lot, really!!
Moths look for light just as we do too, but they are lost in the modern world with false light sources, just as we ourselves struggle to find meaning in the modern world
Moth's seek like because they believe the light source they are looking at is the sun. They also evolved to think the sun is VERY VERY far away. So this fucks up their navigation and causes them to spiral toward light sources. Its a well studied and understood phenomenon. But cool symbolism none the less.
Happened to me today. I was walking down the street behind a darker skin tone guy with black hair. He was short, his frame was small ans i thought to myself - " hmm, from behind this guy looks like the indian dude i used to see in my dorm 2 years ago, could this be him?".Literally 7 seconds after, the indian guy i was refering to got out of the bus near me. And c'mon, 2 hours after this experience i get this video in my recommended....
My experience... One week in college, I was doing research about German expressionist art, specifically looking into the magazine called "Simplicissimus." One week, a professor I was working with took a work trip to Germany, going to the exact spot that magazine was released. He managed to find a small store selling reprints of the magazine and bought one, bringing it back to the states with him. When I got excited to see that he actually brought an issue back, he said that he didn't even know what the magazine was, saying, "you've heard of this?" It is mind boggling that he unknowingly brought back a random historical art magazine from the exact place that it was released just a week after me studying it.
I eventually realised that the aesthetic of German expressionism obviously filtered through and influenced a lot of subculture (eg goth, post punk) and am really curious about what's in that magazine!
When I was in college but still living at home, my Dad and I decided to clean out the basement. We ordered pizza so we wouldn't have to interrupt the project with cooking. When I went to pick it up I got a Bermuda nickel back in my change. I'd never seen one before in my life. It had a tropical fish on it, and a profile image of Queen Elizabeth. About half an hour later we were clearing out a pile of boxes and junk that no one had touched in over ten years. We got to the bottom, and there on the cement floor next to the wall was a dusty old Bermuda nickel. One had been sitting in the basement for years, just waiting to be discovered, the other was in active circulation, but they both found me in the same hour of the same day. I'd never seen one before, and I've never seen one since. My Dad and I never did figure out what the universe was trying to tell us! Aside from maybe take a vacation, lol.
What an interesting event! You bring up a question I’ve had about synchronicity...what if the recipient doesn’t understand the message? I hope you guys took that vacation eventually haha
@@747Antman Yes! My dad was starting a states' quarter collection at the time, and we put the nickels in the jar. I think they're still there on the shelf. :-D

Also, my wife’s first spoken word was ‘nickel’. I use music I listen to, to follow synchronous thoughts. I find it helps my imagination which is useful when being creative. Thanks for the reply. I think yours is a great story. My favourite coin is the indian head coin. I think it’s a nickel too. ✌️🇬🇧
Actually just get real tired keep yourself up with caffeine and club music or something then rest in a comfortable position while keeping your eyes open until falling asleep
i think I like to believe in this type of stuff but we always have to consider the confirmation bias. how many times do you think you see the word astral in a day normally? some people couldn't even tell you. but if you have it in mind, and are thinking about it your mind will look for it. I've experimented even on myself and it's always 50/50. I consider things I thought were signs in the past and look at them in the future when I'm not actively looking for a sign yknow
My theory about synchronicity is that it's a sign that the universe is a dream. Albeit one being had by a much vaster and more sophisticated mind. In a dream, the world around you reflects your own thoughts back at you in the form of circumstance. This happens because the mind generating the dream world is the same mind that controls the character from whose perspective the dream is being experienced. Synchronicity is the same kind of relationship. This is a variation on the theory that the universe is a simulation, but I think it's more realistic to call it a dream, because a dream is a naturally occurring simulation, and it seems to me to be more likely that naturally occurring simulations are more common than artificially built ones, and so a person is more likely to find themselves living in one than in a computer simulation. This would also explain the rare instances of foreknowledge of future events. Since the mind of circumstance allocates a portion of its processing time to your personal experience, you can occasionally get brief glimpses of the events it's planning. There are also some famous examples of novelists writing fictitious stories that later events ended up matching in astonishing detail. What I'd like to know is, did they mistake prophecy for imagination, or did reality mistake their imagination for reality's plans?
As the ghost of Carl Jung, I've been studying everything, but of recent my focus has been this dream, and trying to understand how it works, and maybe what it means, if anything. The more I delve into these Aetheric mysteries, the more my sleeping dreams bleed into this waking dream, reducing through the process the sacred consistency. Another side effect of this is noticing the Mandela Effect quite frequently.
The faces of strangers we see in our dreams are generally people we have seen at some point in our life. It may be that you saw your wife in a picture or she passed you on the street before you met. She would have been in the back of your mind, because you found her attractive. If she came from another country or something, it might be something else.
@Melanie Wilson I swear dude lol it was her. I remember I had just gotten a new job and the night before my first day I had this really weird, like deja vu feeling dream with a girl in it I'd never met. Her face was distinct. TLDR I met her at work the next day. Married her a year later.
@@numerum_bestia it's possible, I did go for an interview before the dream and maybe not noticed her I guess, but there were only 3 people in the office that day. Anyway when we did eventually meet we shook hands and I had deja vu from the dream. Like I'd met her the same way before, in the same place. It was weird!
When you really see deep into the fractal you will be able to see yourself in everything and the synchronicities manifest everywhere all the time...move your arm and the fractal manifestations move with you...I really don't know any other way to say this...but when you find the core you will be in compete synchronicity with creation...you really are the center of creation...just not in quite like most would think...
You don't get it - there is NO CORE in a Mandelbrot set - its core is infinity, which proves the saying that its not the destination that counts - its the journey
@@howardevans7384 there is a core...zero point...where everything comes into and goes out of...like a breath...it pulses...like your heart...everything pulses with this...in and out...all of creation...things come and things go...so there is a source point...where all is one...before it got fragmented or fractalized...from the fall...so its not really Infinte...just the fractal reflections of the shattered mirror are...at it's core its all one...before it fractalized...and really it's the journey and the destination that matters...like where were they going without ever knowing the way...take care
The fractal reflections are used as vector points for navigation...they help you navigate the matrix...have you ever gotten lost in the infinity mirror maze...it's not very much fun...you need a way to navigate the fractal other wise you would get lost in the illusion of infinity...when humpty fell from the wall he was shattered into pieces...but all pieces of the whole nonetheless...this is what the matrix is...don't get lost in space my friend...just use fixed points in the matrix for navigation...like the north star so to speak...then you can't get turned around and lost within fractal maze...
@Leotard Gura yeah ok...you obviously have no idea how the mirror works or what spiritual work is...but you are right...it's BS...that couldn't be...no way...just cause you can't see it doesn't mean it's BS 🤦...ha...take care...
that's weird.. About a month ago I just started writing a song called "Moth". I didn't know about the chasing light and purpose symbolism. maybe it's all conected
You know that green moth in the thumbnail? That's a luna moth, which is interestingly the first experience I ever had with synchronicity. I was a young teen, doing the dishes at the kitchen sink. Over the sink was a window overlooking the porch, and I noticed in the corner, this gigantic, fluffy green insect I'd never seen before. Pretty like a butterfly, fuzzy like a moth. As I stared in awe, it fluttered, and I realized it was trapped beneath a dusty cobweb in the corner of the windowsill. So I went outside, and took a little stick and peeled the web away, and up close it was stunning, and it was so calm! It didn't fly away immediately so I coaxed it into my hand, and I was amazed at how docile it was, I'd never seen a bug so chill about being handled. It took me a few years to find out what the species was, and I learned that they don't have proboscis so they basically starve to death once they become moths, and I found it beautifully tragic. A few years later I was home from school sick with the flu at the lakehouse, and I heard something pretty big hit the window, and it was a luna moth. I was thrilled and let it inside, it flew around and even landed on me and hung out, I snapped some pictures and then walked it out into the woods as far as I could go, and I shut off all the outside lights so it wouldn't come back. They live such short lives, it should be free! But it came back the next night, and I took it into the woods again to let it go. Every night I was sick it came, and the morning i woke up and felt better, I found it dead next to my bedroom window. Like it spent its life comforting me. I put it's body in a mentos box and buried it. Note that this happened while I was at my granddaddys lakehouse, so it wasn't even the same place I saw the first one. It always felt very meaningful to me. Needless to say this video had me riveted.
Synchronicity led me to your channel! Love your content , always hits the spot. I’ve noticed synchronicities since youth, before the days of the Internet; now I have to question wether my present observations are synchronicity or AI directing my attention towards subject matter that an algorithm deems interesting to me. These observations seem to come far more frequently these days. Regardless ,feeling the wind of the logos keeps me in sense of wonder. As a new comer to your channel and Jung I feel eased that there are others wired differently seeking meaning and healing through the numinous experience. Remarkable ,deep work ! Thanks keep the memes flowing.
I do remember that I would have dreams that would at times show me some random moment, like watching a clip that is only a few seconds, and it would end. At some later time the small moment that I saw with in my dream would occur in the same exact way. The one occurrence of this that I can still remember is that at some point in the 1st grade I had a dream of holding a hard cover orange book while sitting at a small table, then the dream ended. It wasn't till I was in the 4th grade during a math lesson that I held a math book that had an orange hard cover and I was sitting at a table that happen to look the exact same as it did in my dream.
Yes yes and yes I have the same type of "visions" and it's always random stuff like watching a "clip" of a person passing by and then an hour or a day latter that happens
i completely believe you i always thought this was normal as it always occurred. except my “visions” were 3 months apart at most. and id see conversations between friends and I then the day would come id be talking mid sentence then I say to myself what they were about to say then id look at their outfit and instantly get this wtf moment in my head. i havent had this happen since I was like 12 id assume its because of age or the fact thats when i started smoking marijuana. regardless I believe you.
That's crazy i also have dreams or "little clips" that i see when i sleep occasionally and get the strangest deja vu feeling when it happens, it makes me feel really anxious.
Whenever I wish for something I know I can't have, and the radio is paying, the En Vogue song 'My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It) ' always plays. It's spooky.
I like to think that objectively speaking, these things are “random”. No other consciousness intended for it to “happen to us”. But it did, and we experienced it - that still makes it really cool. Just the sheer fact that there was a consciousness to string together such events and call it synchronistic, coincidental, creepy, beautiful, scary, whatever it is. I like to think It’s this very exploration into strange things that make life worth living.
As I was watching this, packing, I found a an old pen inside a drawer I haven’t gone through in maybe 10 years, and it’s labeled with the same name as the street address that I am moving to.
When I was a teenager, I found a scan of a portrait of a young blond woman. I was mesmerised by woman's beauty. I've been using this portrait as a wallpaper for my phone ever since. 5 years later I moved to another city, made new friends and was invited to a birthday party of one of them. My friend's mom was there too. She was eagerly sharing stories from her teenage years when she was so beautiful that artists kept asking her to pose for their paintings. And then she showed one of the portraits of herself. It was the same picture I had on my phone.
I've experienced SEVERAL interesting ones: My dad and I discovered the Pleiades constellation for the first time the same way at the same age; The moment after explaining to my step brother what a synchronicity is he pointed to a bush and was like "do you see that bird" and I saw something that looked like a bird and nodded yes, then a bird flew out of the same bush and I realized what I was looking at wasn't a bird. I told him I looked at the wrong thing and he said he pointed at the thing I saw that I thought was a bird and didn't realize it wasn't a bird until the actual bird flew away, meaning we experienced a weird synchronicity right after talking about it; Once in highschool I saw a couple holding hands and really envied them, and not even two minutes later this random, cute girl came up to me, grabbed my hand and pretended to be my girlfriend until I got to my class. To this day I don't know why that happened, I think it was a dare or something; Among others...
I recall this moment I had with friends when I was a young boy. We were playing at the park, when suddenly I decided to fool them saying that I saw a black widow near a bench and a tree At first they didn't believe me but then they decided to get their flashlights out to look for the creature, I lied again and said it probably hid, but all of a sudden one of the boys yells I found it! And what do you know a beautiful black widow spider in it's web. I was in shock but all I said was: See? I told you. So now I understand what it was all about, synchronicity.
Well, you are a subscriber of this channel, and it is a regular mention in videos here. You've got to be very discriminating, try and disprove every instance first, before you accept it as such.
I have had some of these moments before, but I've always shrugged them off as a coincidence or that it was meant tl be or something, which is the reason I don't remember many of those 'events' anymore, but it is very interesting and I liked hearing your experiences eith the concept
Yes! I graduated in June and I was thinking about what to do now, I been interested in the military since middle school but I hate the military in my country, then I found about the French Foreign Legion and after that everywhere I looked was about France or the FFL, to the point where there are some guys working on a mod for the game SQUAD that is about the French Foreign Legion. (Even max talks about france in this video lol) I feel as if the world was trying to tell me to join... altough it's no easy feat joining the military let alone a foreign one, I'm still wondering if I should go, it would definitely be a crazy life experience
I more often notice synchronicities in what humanity focuses on, in completely unrelated ways. Ever since 4th or 5th grade, I've had prophetic dreams. Dreams where my dreaming mind seems to overlap with my waking mind sometime after the dream. The Dreams usually aren't very detailed, but this has led to a time paradox before, but that's a different story. I'd never really told anyone about it, and living with my parents in midsummer quarantine, I decided to talk to my father about it. I told him about the dreams, and how they weren't often useful, and we had some interesting discussions on humanity being partially future-telling. The very next day, while watching a RUclipsr and his group of friends play a video game, one if the friends mentioned that exact phenomenon; of them having short dreams that show up randomly as bits and pieces of their life later on. Something they had likely never mentioned before, and that they described EXACTLY as how it happens to me. And they mentioned it *_One. Day. Later._* I have had similar occurances, where I think of doing something, and then I see someone do it on RUclips or the news, but none so provable.
I feel like I mix up synchronicity and deja vu a lot. Like I would have dreams about things I would be doing years later. It would be like 5 dimensional screenshots where I knew what I was experiencing at that momemnt from all senses and emotions. I guess that feeling is like a very delayed version of synchronicity. It's like my memories have saved future events in my past self and I immediately remember that last time I predicted that event in the past. Can't think of anything specific, but video games come to mind and being asked questions. In those moments I would experience psychosis for a good 10 minutes (feeling as though I left my body and I was actually observing myself in the third person). The only recent thing that is specific is for a zombie update for red dead 2 coming out this month or next year. There's going to be a zombie hunter role and I remember seeing the ui for the update screen when it got released.
Awesome vid, Max 🦋. As for a personal experience with synchronicity, well, I started the year 2020 in Huatulco, Mexico. I was there for the first week of January and one ofmy Christmas gifts that I brought on the trip with me was Sandra Kynes' Connecting with Sea Magic. That book is mainly about how connecting with th sea can help us relax and find answers within ourselves. I was reading the chapter about seashells, and it was written that sometimes, a seashell can be a message the universe is sending us about our state of mind. Later that day, I was swimming in the sea ( Huatulco has a beautiful beach), and I saw this amazing conch shell that rolled to my feet. One of my hobbies is collecting seashells, and that conch would have been perfect on my desk. I picked it up, and brought it back to the room. This is when I noticed that it still smelled like rotten fish, and there was indeed some flesh left. I tried to clean it a few times with no results. I had to burry it on shore on the day we left, but I also came to realized that the conch was a message to me that said that I could never let go of some rather traumatic events if I held on to the past like I did and that even if said events shaped who I am, I had to leave it all behind. 🐚🧜🏼♀️
I feel like this video is actually part of something I've felt similar to this concept. I thought about this concept just yesterday but didn't know if it had a name and I just didn't research it. And then I wake up the next day and watch your video. And your video is about this exact concept that I've thinking about.
Not related at all but thought i'd share. I was on holiday in Spain when I was about 15 years old, I came back to my apartment one night after drinking a good few pints( might have drank other stuff like shots or cocktails I can't remember). Anyway I was sleeping on the futon in the front room of the apartment, soon as I lay my head down I must have drifted into one of those light sleeps that you have on airplanes where you wake suddenly and have what seems like really quick dreams. I began to feel as if I was levitating off the couch and when I opened my eyes and there I was hovering mid-air in the front room of the apartment, what I would now call a "vortex"(after watching one sci-fi movie too many) opened up and began swirling on the wall in front of me and I then began floating upright and gravitating towards the black hole in the wall. Just before I reached it I woke up and ran down the hall to my brothers room almost frantic ha I can't remember if I woke in the middle of the room where I was floating or off the couch, and although I know it was a dream it didn't feel like one. I chalk it up to the warm weather and alcohol but i have never experienced anything like that.
Probably my most prominent experiences with synchronicity is with my moms siblings. My uncle, who I somewhat knew but wasn’t exactly close with, appeared in my dream and we talked for a while. He commented on how nice my hair was, said the silver hairs add to it. He said goodbye, specifically for the final time, and I woke up. The next day my mom comes into the car crying and when I ask why she tells me my uncle is dying and he doesn’t have much time left. The other experience is with my aunt, who I was really close with as she’d been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It was another dream where me and my aunt simply talked, I don’t even really remember the details of it all. I do remember her complimenting my hair like my uncle and saying goodbye. When I woke up my mother burst into my room and told me that my aunt was dying and we needed to go see her in the hospital. The difference between these two experiences is that my aunt didn’t die and it bewilders me on what changed between her and my uncle. Not that I mind, I don’t think I was ready to say goodbye.
"With one breath, with one flow You will know synchronicity A sleep trance, a dream dance A shared romance, synchronicity A connecting principle Linked to the invisible Almost imperceptible Something inexpressible Science insusceptible Logic so inflexible Causally connectable Nothing is invincible" (Hint hint, I would love an analysis video on The Police's last album, pretty please)
@@FistfulOfFilms The more cynical part of me would chalk a lot of what you mentioned up to the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon. But please, don't think of yourself as "egotistical" just for sharing your thoughts and experiences, that's what forums/comments sections are meant to be for. The idea of the "unus mundus" seems to me more and more plausible by the day. Once you open your mind to animism, a lot of the fog surrounding your brain clears up.
@@FistfulOfFilms I read your story and it was interesting. I just wanted to add to this Bader Meinhof thing that the RUclips algorithm for example takes in everything it can get its grubby little hands on, and recommends you videos and ads based on it, without going into detail I speculate this algorithm thing will be driving whole feedback loops of this BM phenomena. What happens when millions more people start getting (de)sensitised to these loops?
@@FistfulOfFilms My stance on synchronicity and other "supernatural" phenomena is best summed up with, you guessed it, a Jordan Peterson quote: “Whether the gods are inside or outside makes very little difference to whether there are gods.” As for brevity being the soul of wit, it's kind of overrated as a piece of advice. Hell, the quote comes from the character of Polonius from Hamlet, an infamously long-winded ranter, it's meant to be ironic. One of my favorite RUclipsrs, MauLer, is quite well-known for his (some might say, ridiculously) long and detailed critiques of video games and movies. I can't recommend his content highly enough, I've learned a great deal about things like story structure, and the importance of a logical through-line and character consistency from him. His critiques of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and response series to hbomberguy regarding Dark Souls 2 are both excellent; I'd suggest listening to them while playing a game, or working out, whatever floats your boat. (Also, check out the podcast he hosts: Every Frame a Pause [EFAP]. Some of the highest quality entertainment on the internet, right there.) And if you're a Kubrick fan, Rob Ager's analysis videos on Collative Learning will prove most informative, even enlightening.
@@hecomin152 Well, what *could* happen is that we'd see people drifting further and further into camps of close-minded, fringe ideologies, unable to communicate with one another without the conversation devolving into a shit-flinging contest, but what are the odds of *that* happening, am I right? (He said, chuckling through tears of frustration)
@@ManiacalForeigner at the macro level yes, but at the micro level we might see superstitious/paranoid and even spiritual tendencies creep into the public consciousness. Which could fuel an almost religious zealotry to that closed minded fringe ideology bunkering down. Wow, getting rid of religion might not actually prevent insane levels of arbitrary tribalism that divide us all and ultimately perpetuate violence.
My BEST synchronicity story: I ate some shrooms, learned a bit about myself, 2 words stuck in my head from that trip 'HUNGER' and 'IMPATIENCE'. I went to a Tool concert in Las Vegas. In the airport the song 'Hungry like the Wolf' came on. Then when I got to the hotel the song came on again. It was following me. I sat down at a cafe and ordered some food. A lady behind me was pulling a full Karen saying her food was ordered an hour ago and that it was ridiculous that she should have to wait so long, etc. I turn to look at her, she was wearing wolf ears and a tail -- she was HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF. A week later I had a dream about being chased by a white wolf in a forest thinking it wanted to eat me but instead it was trying to play.
This video itself its a sync for me, I was raised with old time simpsons, Metal Gear, Silent Hill, practically most of the topics you manage, and one of my closest friends its been telling me about syncs about a way of how the universe speaks to us, and now, you specifically YOU upload this lol, is the first sync related YT video I have even seen, and ah dont get me started in how much MGS and SH reflected in some core topics of my life 😅 oh well, love your videos
I've always been a very skeptical person, didn't really believe in anything spiritual or ghosts etc. I'm not religious in any organized/traditional sense of the word. I've had a few weird experiences with my girlfriend, though. The first one involved us both seeing an "orb" of sorts fly around on the back porch of a friend's house. We weren't dating at the time, we weren't high or anything, and we both saw it plain as day for 30 seconds+ moving around the back yard. It was not a firefly, it seemed almost more akin to an erratically moving, silent stealth drone with a slowly blinking light on it. Haven't figured that one out to this day. The second experience wasn't that weird, but oddly enough, we did see a giant green luna moth outside of the restaurant we went to on our first date. That's partly why the thumbnail for this video caught my eye. My girlfriend's name is Jennifer, as well, and she has discussed us getting tattoos of said moth. I think I still have a picture of it on a Drive account. The most uncanny one was one day while visiting my aforementioned girlfriend in another city she was living in for college, we were discussing how we were sad I'd be leaving to go home soon, worried that it'd be forever until we could live near one another, etc.--mushy stuff like that. Well, on our way home, a homeless man stops us out of the blue and tells me that I "didn't need to hold onto her hand like that because she's not going anywhere." He went on for a couple minutes about how I looked worried about her and how I didn't need to be--basically the same kind of things we had just been talking about. This one kinda freaked me out a little bit, but it was a positive message and we're still together so maybe he was right? No harm no foul. After witnessing these things, I'm still a rather skeptical fella', but I'm much more open to the idea that there may be things going on "behind the scenes" that we're not necessarily privy to. And, yes, my girlfriend has gotten me to read a decent amount of Carl Jung since then.
Dear Max, I also experienced the moth earlier this year in June, I had just discovered Aion and it happened during watching your Aion series in June. I still have the conversation history with my gf about my experience. There is more going on here with your meaningful content, something meta.
I watch this hilarious insightful dude called PierreXO. He was talking about this today and how Prague has an aspect to it that deals with a lot of Synchronicity. Now I'm here listening to you talk about the very thing.
Max I was writing as I watched connected the game to the movie and my lighthouse symbols I get as you speak on the game being the next one that was voted for you to play...I believe in this phenomena...it’s like the universe telling us we are going on the right direction imo
A few months ago I was discussing prayer and spirituality with my girlfriend one evening while we had Spotify radio playing on our speaker. As soon as the discussion turned to prayer, Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" began to play. Couldn't make it up! Haha.
I remember one event, speaking of dreams, where I dreamed a person I hadn't seen in 10 years shaved their head. The next day, I looked him up on Facebook and he had, in fact, shaved his head for the first time that morning. Another time I dreamed about the cover and titles of the first "Pokemon" movie weeks before it was announced. I told my mom the next day and she treated it with the same respect one treats any childish dream. Two weeks later, she handed me a newspaper that confirmed what I described. I coined the term "Schwifty" in high school (pre-2003) and was surprised to see a whole Rick and Morty episode about it many years later. There are loads of other examples of weird coincidences; I'm fully convinced of the "collective unconscious" as a means of accessing information that shouldn't be physically available to an individual. I think as quantum theoru becomes quantum reality, we'll be able to describe those threads with much more clarity.
I’ve had a similar experience, expect, it was through me talking to myself, in my words, I said, “if I don’t have work tomorrow then I’ll have to go and run errands in town” and then the next day, exactly 1 hour before I would have arrived at work, I get a message from my boss telling me that our job was postponed and didn’t have work that day. I thought it was a funny little coincidence.
This is freaky and I love it Max I've put a like sir , I have the number 23 repeating through my 10th and 11th grade in numerous occasions and also whenever I start to mention about my father to my mum or anyone no matter where he is he would coincidentally meet up with me (ps : my dad does not teleport) . I know it's kinda silly but this has been occuring a dozen number of times I'm not sure if it has to do with synchronicity , but it just happens .
I have experienced a few synchronicities myself and they always kinda freak me out. They make me feel like I've just kicked the cosmic beehive, so to speak.
@@aleynamutlu4206 he's discovering the universe outside the narrow slice we believed was only ours to see and behold. The universe awaits us and at the same time, the universe is us.
I don't generally believe in stuff like prophetic dreaming, and usually just chalk most of that up to happenstance, but right on my birthday in 2011, I had a dream that I walked to the house of some family members that lived out of state, who I had not seen, or even thought about for maybe five years at that point. As I entered their home, we gathered around a long dining room table, and they had something important to tell me. Just before they told me what it was, I woke up (of course). A week later, I get a phone call, and a great aunt who I had never met before called me to tell me that my grandmother had passed away (on the night of my birthday). I had not seen this grandmother since I was five years old, and the last contact I previously had with her was almost twenty years previously. Likely just a completely random event, but it's hard to forget when things align like that. You could argue that I was just feeling sentimental around my birthday, so that was the reason for the dream, but if that was actually the case, it was an outlier. I don't typically start dwelling on family around the holidays or birthdays, especially those I don't really have any contact with anyway.
Make of this what you will. When i was probably 12 or 13 i went on a school trip to the isle of white. It was a camp type thing with various physical activities for kids to do, like climbing, absailing etc. One day we were visiting the surrounding beaches being given a tour by the camps guides and we stopped at a particular spot where we could see some interesting erosion. One of the guides was talking about the erosion and the sea and whatnot and another one of the guides who was a young guy climbed on top of a boulder. Once he was on top i looked down at the ground where the boulder was and the rocks were jagged and sharp. I immediately thought to myself "if this guy jumps off he is going to break his leg". The young guy then says out loud "hehe dont look guys i might break a leg" in a joking manner...... He then jumps down from the boulder..... I remember seeing his leg split apart and it almost had a yellow like appearence to it, however immediately after witnessing that i had to turn away as i was sick from the sight of it. The young chap was screaming in agony and we then learned about air ambulances as we were led away and watches a helicopter air lift him to a hospital. What symbolism should i google from that?
I had a dream about a little group of shops on a hill off a highway. It was very detailed. In my dream, I even went into one of the shops. Mnths later, I was driving through a town out of state with my sister, and to my right, there was the group of shops on a hill off the highway. I also had a series of dreams about driving down the highway to the town where my brother lived. My brother suddenly died of a heart attack and the dreams totally stopped.
I have had these moments so much in my life. Peaking significantly during the time when first reading through Grant Morrison’s “The Invisibles”. Just yesterday in fact, I was driving to work and the cloud formations ahead struck me as looking like a small demon beneath a legion of angels. The demon slowly disappeared below the horizon. Then later last night I was talking to my best friend who literally out of nowhere mentioned that he saw a cloud the day before that he said looked like a huge demon looming in the sky. 🤷🏻♂️
@@haggridhinglehorn I’m curious if you noticed any odd phenomenon while reading it. I leant the first volume to two different people. Both of whom couldn’t finish it due to the intense, and I guess to them, frightening, levels of synchronicities that they experienced during the time they were reading. Where as I kind of like that stuff 😛
@@megamob5834 Nothing odd while reading it that I remember, but in the months to come I took a new interest in its core themes (gnosticism, magick, life as a play) so much so that I believe I was affected subconciously. Grant Morrison says himself he wrote the series as a spell of sorts. And thats funny to hear because my volume 1 is currently lent out to a friend! lol
@@haggridhinglehorn haha another fine synchronicity! Yeah Morrison describes the book as a “super sigil”. Definitely piqued my interest in those subjects as well. I would have to think that was part of his intention.
Awesome video dude! I haven't been able to keep up with the channel as much as I'd like to, so I have a huge backlog of your videos to watch. I'm looking forward to having some time to sit down and binge.
Humans are complex and we live in a complex dynamic world. I know its not the sexy and mysterious perspective people want but shear chance and how humans ascribe meaning to things result in spooky coincidences. Just think of the old playing cards analogy; you shuffle a deck of cards and draw five off the top, you notice its a royal flush. "Wow, what are the odds?!", we say. The odds are exactly the same as drawing an 2, 5, 8, K, and 10 (all of various suites). But we don't think that is special in anyway, though its just as "rare". Confirmation bias, attention bias are also things to consider here.
This type of shit happens to me on a daily basis and has done since I was in my early teens, used to make me feel really weird but now I’m just so used to it half the time I don’t even pick up on it. Used to chalk it down to coincidence but it literally happens so often and has done for so long it really made me start to question coincidences in general. I also often dream about really specific things and when I wake up I already know that I’ll end up experiencing or seeing these that day. The last major one was about 3 weeks ago. Had a very vivid dream of being inside this cathedral (I’m not religious and have never been interested in religious architecture) and it was architecturally beautiful and grand. I remember the bells ringing in my dream and I said hey it’s 11 o’clock! That morning I had a phone call off my bored friend who suggested we go on a random drive. He ended up randomly driving us 25 miles out of where I live into a City called Litchfield. As we where driving through the city I was on my phone and my friend said “wow look at that mad church” I just looked up and immediately smiled in disbelief because my life had brought me to that moment after showing it to me. It was Litchfield Cathedral which it turns out is pretty famous for its design. He ended up suggesting we check it out which we did. I’ll let you guess what time it was when the bells rand while we where in there. Life is strange. I like to see it as me being in sync with my life path and destiny. As long as stuff like this keeps happening to me I feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be at that exact moment in my life. It puts my mind at ease and allows me to just go with the flow. Nothing happens by coincidence.
These types of WTF syncing moments in life are the reason why I'm still alive. I want to encounter more of them, since I tend to overanalyze and overthink stuff which makes me rarely surprised and disenchanted with the purpose of living(kinda led me to severe depression at some points in life). I sometimes wish I could could dumb or be an ordinary joe that doesn't get plagued by an annoying turbulence of thoughts 24/7. An overworking brain may help me achieve better at cognitive tasks compared to other people, but sometimes it's a curse that wears down my desire to continue living.
I know how you feel bro meditation have helped me a lot to deal with depression just lay down close your eyes guided meditation also helps search on youtube there is plenty of good stuff out there life is beautiful it's bless to be alive the key is to use your mind not the opposite mind is a dangerous weapon it can help you through life or make you miserable

My most recent experience was probably the most powerful one. I was watching the movie Adaptation for the first time and multiple MULTIPLE times throughout the film (probably 30-40 times), a line of dialogue would perfectly mirror something I had said in the recent past, or a piece of imagery would evoke a strong feeling of deja vu. I was recalling events and conversations from all the way back to 2011. After about the 10th incident of this, I started to pay closer attention (and started to freak out a little bit!), and soon everything started to connect in my head!! Every occasion that I was reminded of had some manner of divine intervention, even if I didn't recognize it at the time; for example multiple near-death experiences where I seemed to survive only through sheer coincidence, as well as people I have met who turned me on to new ideas that have grown me into the person I am today. But the most profound moment brought me back to a few short months ago. Sunday, late afternoon. My house was quiet, empty. A couple of windows cracked as the temperature is fairly warm. I sat down in the center of the couch in my living room, closed my eyes and started to meditate. As I observed the many sounds of the environment, I started hearing the breath of another human. The sound was coming from the front porch window, which was directly in front of me about 7 meters away. I kept thinking to myself "I hear you breathing, bro" (a line from the movie). I would also hear the occasional very quiet audio clip start and stop like they were flipping through social media. Now my house is way in the outland surrounded by trees, so this was not a typical occurrence, let me tell you. For the next couple minutes I sat there with my eyes shut thinking about what I could possibly be hearing. Also I have a great sense of when someone is staring at me, and that alarm in my head was going crazy even before I noticed the breathing! I glanced at the window and around the room as to not seem suspicious, but didn't see anything. The next thing I did was lay down on the floor in a position where the line of sight to my body was blocked by a wide chair. Not even a minute later I hear a slight scuffle followed by a loud creak from the window. The dude had CLIMBED ON A CHAR on my porch to try to get a better view of me. I quickly sat up and caught a glimpse of this stranger, who darted off to the side behind the wall, not wanting to be seen. After this I looked outside through every window and eventually spotted them once more, crouched behind the chicken coop up against the tree line (about 20 meters from the house). This time we made eye contact. It was fairly shadowy back there but It looked like they were holding a device up to their mouth, like a phone or audio recorder or something. Dazed and confused, I held up a two-finger peace sign, and they returned the favor. Now, if you've seen the film you can see the correlations here. What I first thought was a home intruder now seems like a stealthy screenwriter? I have no idea. Never saw nor heard from this person again. Anyway, I've been neglecting speaking to one of my good friends because of some silly drama, who, oddly enough is the friend that recommended this film to me. Time for a change. I feel I have been shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Creator has a hand in this world, and that he is in control. God is real, and he is a fan of Nicolas Cage.
My synchronicity is my birthday July 14 and the number 47. as I type this comment there are 714 comments infront of mine, the view count is 47,492 and there is the descriptions "carl Jung mention #1147." pretty overwhelming too is that this is all on a video about synchronicity
You have some really cool synchronicity (s) Max. I've experienced this phenomenon, but not to that degree. The story of The LightHouse and the Jungian thing freaked me out. I had recently been watching an Episode of X-Files that dealt with the same exact subject, then watched the LightHouse, then saw your video as I had recently subscribed to you. At the time I thought it was meant to be. Thanks for the awesome content man. I love the way you think.
No, Deep Thought.. The answer to the ultimate question of the meaning of life, the universe and everything is 42, remember? You told them they wouldn't like it
Hey max, ive been watching your videos for a while now and i just wanted to tell you that its fine work youre doing! All of your videos contain interesting perspectives, even on subjects im already familiar with. Keep it up and keep them coming, ill be looking forward to it. Cheers!
After looking at this awesome mind blowing video. I doubted that I would have had a moment of synchronicity. But after much thought I have at least 2 I know of. One is... political... I’m not going to say much about it. But for the other one: When I was in high school I wanted to write a multi-series fictional story. So I drew some characters out of thin air to get my mind flowing. The next year around that same time. I unknowingly befriended some people that resemble some of the characters I drew. It wasn’t until a few weeks in when I realized some of the new friends I made resembled some of the characters I drew a year. I faded away from some of those friends weeks later cause hehehe drama. But It was such a weird time.
Ok Max... Never been on your channel before tonight and I am shook at your mention of Moon River. It has been stuck in my head for about a month now - never seen the movie either...what the fuahhh
My bf and have met in passing about 7 times throughout our lives since we were 18 and 40 now...we have said entire paragraphs with the same inflection at the same time so much that its annoying lol
Let me just say that me finding this video is a synchronicity in of it's self. I experience synchronicity almost daily, and I came across your channel when I was looking for videos related to Killer7, one of my favorite games of all time. I'm glad to see this concept is picking up steam, I used to think I was crazy lol.
Do you think it's unlikely that someone could experience so many synchronicities that it actually becomes.. likely? Sounds like a paradox but that's kinda my life now.
I was dating this girl and we broke up mostly because she has a ton of mental issues. Projected those issues onto me and created a whole lot of, problems in our relationship. I told myself “Next girl I find will be emotionally sound, mature and healthy.” The NEXT day I swipe right on someone on Tinder and behold. The kindest, mature and empathetic girl I’ve ever come across slid in my DM’s after matching me. But one thing I always said is that “I always attract broken people or those that are going through a lot.” This beautiful woman recently lost her mom due to suicide. So...I managed to find her right in this pocket of her life where she’s at her lowest because I love helping people. I am going to help her, but the odds I meet someone like her is just astronomically low. I feel like the chaos of the universe is trying to tell me something.
FearLessLion Z I used to similarly attract broken people through seemingly astronomical circumstances. I used to fantasize about picking people up out of their lowest moments and fixing them. But when the times came to help them, my actions either led to rebound relationships that were detrimental to both of us or them developing an unhealthy dependence on me that I was unprepared for and unequipped to deal with properly. It was like the universe was asking me if I really thought I was cut out for this life, or if my desire to help people was in reality just a way for me to feel better about myself rather than a characteristic spawned purely from altruism.
Loved your Jeopardy example. My family plays a game where we randomly guess the answer to final jeopardy based solely on the category, and all of us have gotten it right a few times. Couple times a week, something we were talking about earlier that day comes up in a question. Things like that happen a lot in a show that covers such a diverse range of topics.
Its just coincidence, that’s what I believe. Many things happen all the time and we are just really good at noticing patterns. Synchronicity happens, sure, but I don’t believe there really is something special about it. It can still be cool though! I have a very scientific/ “materialistic” world view but I still think it all is pretty cool for what it is. ^^ Oh and, It’s really exiting to see you playing bloodborne. Gaaah, I loove that game too much. Like, it’s almost painful.
But sometimes the coincidence is astronomically ridiculous, I have watched hundreds of movies in my life, there exists thousands of movies out there, why is it that when I thought about a movie I watched a long time ago and then opened the TV I found it playing .. what are the chances of me thinking about the movie (for a completely arbitrary reason) and then opening the TV at the same exact moment to find it on.
-> Doesn't believe in Synchronicity -> Loves Bloodborne -> Watches through a video of someone talking about what they don't believe in while showing what they love so much *Welp*
zezuntxiduntxi I have taken psychedelics a few times. Those experiences have been very important to me and I feel like they have shown me deep “mysteries” about the world, but I still have this scientific view on the world. I do find our existence and the world we live in as something quite amazing tho. I just don’t find a reason to fill it with “meaning” or spiritualism. I have never found something that I can truly believe in... Like, I find the science amazing!
AscendantStoic You can still count on it happening. How often do you think about this movie? How often do you open the tv? How often is this shown on the tv? It will surely happen in someone’s lifetime, right? Why the need to add this mystical meaning to it?
I was spending the night at a friends house to complete a school project. We were chatting and I ended up talking about weird shit online. One of the things I wanted to show him was the youtuber Poppy. So I pulled up one of her videos randomly, one I'd never seen before. It happened to be one called "Do you ever think about God?" In the video she says the title of the video and goes silent. So I started explaining more about Poppy and what she was and to punctuate my explanation I said "It's really weird". Not one second later she broke the silence and said the exact same words. To say the least I kinda freaked out. This is the one moment of synchronicity I can think of. I have never been religious but I wonder if this is some sort of sign lol.
When I was in the military, we were cleaning the barracks on a Friday. If the Staff Sargeant was happy with our work upon inspection, we'd be granted weekend liberty. He'd inspected the barracks 2 or 3 times already that day, and was not impressed, citing increasingly minor infractions. So, we were standing in formation on the parade deck, waiting to SSgt to finish his inspection. I muttered under my breath to my squad leader that he'd fail us again, and that we wouldnt get liberty until after he inspects us again tomorrow because he'd found ghost turds on top of the air ducts. This was said in jest, and only a couple people immediately left and right of me could have heard it. Ssgt comes out of the barracks, and says. verbatim what I just said just a moment before. Totally freaked out my squad leader at the time.

My synchronicity story: I was selling some old crap I had on Ebay, to make room in a cupboard. In one of those auctions, I accidentally clicked on "free shipping" and it got sold to a bitchy lady in the US. I explained to her that it was an accident and it was not worth for me to pay for the shipping for something that was sold for 10$ and we should cancel the auction and get her refunded, but she insisted I should send it to her or she would report me to ebay. Long story short, I didn't gave a damn if she reported me, so I didn't send it to her, but she didn't report me and she kept sending me messages for a month that I should send her the crap she won in the auction. One day I realised that nobody wants the crap and I'ld better send it to her to make room, even if I loose money on it. So, one rainy day I went to the post office and mailed it. I went on foot and on my way back I was calculating how I much I bought the collectible toy crap, how much I sold it to the bitchy lady and how much I paid for shipping and came to the conclusion that I lost 2 euros. And guess what... The exact moment I finished calculating, I looked down on the ground and there was a 2 euro coin lying in a pool of rainwater. I haven't found on the street more money than a few cents for ages, but it happened on that day and it was the exact sum I lost, the exact moment I was thinking about it.
The Greeder I love that!✨💜
I can really relate to that, and quite honestly, meaning is infinite.
We will never ever run out of things to explore, learn, and conquer in a universe as vast as this.
Nice that is the conclusion I came after a few years of depression and honestly it still calms me. Live to experience life
You might as well live. You don't need any particular purpose or meaning as long as you're here and able to obtain fulfilment in some way.
I'm getting goosebumps as I type:
I'm Irish and back in 1995, aged 14, I went on a family holiday to Florida. Freaked me out.
that's good stuff
That's creepy. Was there any corroborative history about the room you guys slept in?
@@knightstormbringer I didn't actually check. This was 1995 so there was no Goggle or Wikipedia to rely on. Freaked both me and my mum out at the time. I was uncomfortable in the apartment after that
Neil Kelly reminds me of when I was young, my brother and I shared a room. I woke up and he was standing beside his bed staring at the wall. I told him to go to bed but he just continued to stand there. So I went to my parents room to tell them what was happening and found my brother in bed with them because he had a nightmare earlier. 😯
Chills to my spine

When you become attuned and aware of your surroundings. You will notice synchronicity much more often. There is no such thing as coincidences.
- I'm not sure how that isn't real
We're pattern seekers and we see what we choose to see. Things just happen around us and we feel the need to make sense of it as everything is supposed to correlate to something else with the way we think.
@@Tabrellik this exactly
I watched the same exact video a week or so ago, and retold the scarab story the other day as it stuck with me

I just now entered into something like this yikes
It's typically best when two people can make up for where the other is lacking, I think the old biblical idea of that is very interesting; where before Eve, Adam was wondering aimlessly trying to find a mate unsuccessfully. And after several failed attempts God divided Adam and created another human out of a part of him. Meaning that we as a species are torn in two, forever destined to seek out the person that fills out the part that's missing or lacking. We're dependent on each other because we are each other.
Hang in there, and nice story 👌

Synchronicity used to freak me out, but it happens so often now that I just accept it as a mysterious phenomenon of the human experience.

She said to me, when we were outside smoking, privately:
" I saw Gus next to the table where we were, he was happy to see us".
Amazing story, thank you for telling us this brother !

How does one detox your pineal gland?
Very interesting idea. Who do you suppose is having this dream?

that's weird.. About a month ago I just started writing a song called "Moth". I didn't know about the chasing light and purpose symbolism. maybe it's all conected
I love your storytelling you’re very well spoken.
same here: people around me start singing the songs i sing inside my head, i think that is a good example
That's crazy i also have dreams or
"little clips" that i see when i sleep occasionally and get the strangest deja vu feeling when it happens, it makes me feel really anxious.
Whenever I wish for something I know I can't have, and the radio is paying, the En Vogue song 'My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It) ' always plays. It's spooky.
Plot twist:
Icarus was mothman.
Wow, I was just talking about this phenomenon with my friend today lol. I guess it's another case of synchronicity !
Keep up the great vids !

Happy to see you still uploading. I hope things are getting better for you
When I was a teenager, I found a scan of a portrait of a young blond woman.
Wow
Don't worry Max, Syncronicity happens to all of us.
IS happening
imho Synchronicity only happens when we are open. While closed (cynical) we only experience negatives.

I never knew there was a name for this. I've been experiencing this for so long.
I was discussing this subject with someone earlier today. Then you post this; just further proves it’s existence.
Syncronception
I've experienced SEVERAL interesting ones:
My dad and I discovered the Pleiades constellation for the first time the same way at the same age;
The moment after explaining to my step brother what a synchronicity is he pointed to a bush and was like "do you see that bird" and I saw something that looked like a bird and nodded yes, then a bird flew out of the same bush and I realized what I was looking at wasn't a bird. I told him I looked at the wrong thing and he said he pointed at the thing I saw that I thought was a bird and didn't realize it wasn't a bird until the actual bird flew away, meaning we experienced a weird synchronicity right after talking about it;
Once in highschool I saw a couple holding hands and really envied them, and not even two minutes later this random, cute girl came up to me, grabbed my hand and pretended to be my girlfriend until I got to my class. To this day I don't know why that happened, I think it was a dare or something;
Among others...
I kid you not, i was literally just thinking about synchronicity yesterday and talking about it with someone...
Same bro. I’m convinced it could be a base principle of our reality

(Even max talks about france in this video lol)
I feel as if the world was trying to tell me to join... altough it's no easy feat joining the military let alone a foreign one, I'm still wondering if I should go, it would definitely be a crazy life experience
You should always write down what you are thinking about! We forget about a lot of stuff so it’s very interesting to look back on
I more often notice synchronicities in what humanity focuses on, in completely unrelated ways.
Day. Later._*
I have had similar occurances, where I think of doing something, and then I see someone do it on RUclips or the news, but none so provable.
Oh and great video max. Truly thought provoking 👍
Fred Durst I see you everywhere.

Max: the universe might be trying to communicate with us

@@FistfulOfFilms My stance on synchronicity and other "supernatural" phenomena is best summed up with, you guessed it, a Jordan Peterson quote:
“Whether the gods are inside or outside makes very little difference to whether there are gods.”
As for brevity being the soul of wit, it's kind of overrated as a piece of advice.
Some of the highest quality entertainment on the internet, right there.)
And if you're a Kubrick fan, Rob Ager's analysis videos on Collative Learning will prove most informative, even enlightening.

My own experiences with synchronicity is what keeps be believing.
🤔
The veil has fallen. Be prepared for far more.
@Stella S. cool right? Haha
Same for me but replace hungry with horny
Ya know I would call your bluff on a woman wearing wolf ears and a tail. But Vegas is Vegas lol.
ah shit, here we spiral out again...

I wish I could remember all the synchronicities I had. They're amazing when they happen
Someone else in the comments keeps a synchronicity journal. Perhaps you could try the same thing?
Fantastic, enjoyed to a great extend! Thank you!

Your videos are really insightful and interesting keep up the awesome shit🤩🔥🔥
Common sense I'd say.
That series is, in itself, a spell. I never finished the final book but I really should
@@haggridhinglehorn I’m curious if you noticed any odd phenomenon while reading it.

I've had hundreds of stories like this. Dreams that bleed into the following day. Other things. It's all driven me mad.
@@jeaneljaylamputi2215 I FEEL YA... you just got to practice meditation and just let your thoughts flow... dont get stuck on them ....Trust me... Meditate...
@@osamhala7madi536 i told him the same thing lmao talk about sychronazation ha
He probably was a Home intruder and you spooked him. What on earth possessed you to throw a peace sign to them??
My synchronicity is my birthday July 14 and the number 47. as I type this comment there are 714 comments infront of mine, the view count is 47,492 and there is the descriptions "carl Jung mention #1147." pretty overwhelming too is that this is all on a video about synchronicity
I was born at 7:47. I see the numbers everywhere.
Any idea what’s the deal with 47 ?
You have some really cool synchronicity (s) Max. I've experienced this phenomenon, but not to that degree. The story of The LightHouse and the Jungian thing freaked me out. I had recently been watching an Episode of X-Files that dealt with the same exact subject, then watched the LightHouse, then saw your video as I had recently subscribed to you. At the time I thought it was meant to be. Thanks for the awesome content man. I love the way you think.
Everything is 23. You seek meaning in the meaningless, and find meaning.
I've been seeing 23 for the last two years, multiple times a day. If not more.
Still can't grasp what its supposed to mean for me.
@@dallas7095 it means nothing.
@@jasonruther7046 But what would nothingness be or measured by if it were not for EVERYTHING?
No, Deep Thought.. The answer to the ultimate question of the meaning of life, the universe and everything is 42, remember? You told them they wouldn't like it
Lmao nobody understood what this man wanted to say. I stand by the same, dude, chill, not everything gotta have "meaning"
Oh and, It’s really exiting to see you playing bloodborne.
I believe you are in need of a true psychadelic experience. You certaintly will have your view exponentially broadened.
-> Doesn't believe in Synchronicity
-> Loves Bloodborne
-> Watches through a video of someone talking about what they don't believe in while showing what they love so much
*Welp*
zezuntxiduntxi I have taken psychedelics a few times.
AscendantStoic
You can still count on it happening.
I’ve watched your silent hill videos, Tool videos, and smashing pumpkin song analysis all great videos. Recently I took a break from social media, I then had an urge to finally play a game I’ve always wanted to play for its challenge...so I picked up blood borne a week ago, played it a couple times, then got back on RUclips and see this video recommended to me of you playing the game I just bought. I haven’t seen your videos for a while too weird
Hey Max I know you're up to your neck in proyects and videos, but a vid focused on your creative process for planning, writing, recording and/or editing would be greatly appreciated by us content creators, both to inspire and give us ideas to improve on workflow.
