    not planning on getting any of those things but just wanted to watch. your videos are beautiful and have such high value bro.
    the research and scripting, days used in shooting, being extremely practical about what you're reviewing, typography animation, sounds effects and choice of music are all top notch. beautiful. great great great work man.

      This is probably the best compliment I could ever ask for. You watched 1 of my videos just to watch it. Not because you were looking for a specific product, but you watched because you value the other lessons, effort, and knowledge I squeeze in the videos. THANKS EDEM!

    Biggest question: Color cast through the stops?

    Thanks for the review. Great job! Have you noticed a color shift while using this filters?

      Thanks!! Only in the situations I showed where you are facing towards the sun, and some situations where glass reflections were bouncing back the wrong way and not getting proper polarization. Causes weird stuff to happen around the edges, green and magenta waves. Definitely works best facing 90 degrees away from the Sun.

    I bought the K&F 2 in 1 vnd +CP a few weeks ago. It's pretty good, but there is a tiny bit of a yellowish color cast. Regardless I need another one for my 82mm thread lenses.
    I do have the setup ring that came with the Tilta matte box, but it doesn't fit perfectly. Maybe the vaxis version would be a better fit, since it's the same brand 🤔

      Hi Danny. Tilta and Vaxis are separate companies, they only worked together on the initial filters made for the Mirage (because Tilta did not have any). Tilta is currently in development of their own filters for the Mirage (besides their Mirage VND and Mirage CPL). Vaxis VFX is a department of Vaxis Wireless (I've spoke to both departments). For step-up rings, I recommend Brass rings because they don't stick as much as aluminum step-up rings. I use these Luzid Brass Step-Up RINGS: geni.us/Luzid-Brass-StepUP

      @RayValencia Oh ok. I thought they were the same company? Thank you for the link 🙏

      @danny castro No problem, I have like 5 or 6 of those step up rings. They are solid and heavy duty. And yeah, Tilta has been in the game a reeeally long time, but they just announced a new rubber Matte Box and the development of "made in-house filters" at Cinegear.

    Is it stops or ND density? I assume the latter so red is 1-5 STOPS, and blue is 3-7 STOPS.

    • @RayValencia
      @RayValencia  Год назад

      I believe You could be right, BUT the VAXIS website and the box says ND 0.3-1.5 STOP, and 0.9-2.1 STOP.
      It gets confusing because an ND 0.9, is the same as an ND8, which is only 3-STOPS of ND. Lol!

      @@RayValencia WOW, I cannot believe Vaxis says 0.3-1.5 STOPS 😮.
      ND_X is ND number or factor, 0.X values are ND density, and STOPS are integer numbers from 1-10 (usually). I know it's freaking confusing, but there are tables that explain it all :D.
