The Go Up dance practice is their first viral video and what really launched them to popularity in the Philippines. They even say in interviews that they about to break up the group but then the dance practice went viral
Well, that was 52 minutes well spent. Really felt that this wasn't so much a reaction but more of a conversation between friends. Nice
That were the days that they are helping each other to do make up on themselves, actually Stell was their main make up artist, but now they have already professional make up and hair artist.
I had completely forgotten that Justin and Ken and Sejun (Pablo) and Josh were switched with their normal seats in this one. Now, every time they're performing on Wish, they have a specific spot they sit on.
Yeah, this one and Tilaluha (which were filmed on the same day) are the only oddballs with a different seating order.

FYI, "Love Goes" ,aka LG, is an elegy (see what Pablo did there? Another word play!) - a song written as a lament for a loved one who has passed away. Thus, the outro - Stell's last verse, which was not part of the original composition - tugs at your heartstrings!

It's Ken. I know the color of that high note. Coming from someone who also has deep singing voice. He can still make it less raspy on their early years

That Go Up Wish Bus performance was the video where Ken snatched me. He looks so good. Now that I rewatched it with you, I did not like how Wish remix it. Their voices weren’t heard much.

Love your reactions Hanna, im grateful that you dedicate your time and attention to my fave group SB19. I have been a fan of theirs for 3 yrs now, didnt get to know them sooner as I live in the UK. Im so happy that they are getting more and more foreign fans.
I think this is the only time that the performed this on wish bus that they used backtrack. Other performances of their songs on this wish bus don't have.

I became a fan of SB19 in June 2023 w d release of Gento and since then I checked out a lot of their songs ...one of my most fave is Love Goes
You can also see SB19's humble beginning in the Wish Bus Go - Up performance. If you watch their wish bus performances chronologically, you would notice how their fans grew with every performance.

WishBus performances by any artist use live mics and normally without vocal backing tracks. You will discover when you watch more of their WishBus performances that they sing just as good or even better than their recorded tracks.

They are all so great singers that they can pass the parts and switch who does the pre chorus, chorus etc.

You should definitely check out their RUclips Fanfest 2020 performance before you go on to their Pagsibol album. They did an Intro + Love Goes + Go Up there. Its worth a look as everytime SB19 perform their songs they don't do it the same - they might change their arrangements, add dance breaks, change choreographies etc that every performance is different even if they are performing the same songs.
Also you don't need to apologize for watching their older songs/performances. We all started that way. Take your time and no need to rush. Each of their songs and stages are gems and every one of them are worth checking out. 😊

This was their comeback song but didn’t go over too well until this dance practice came out on twitter and helped put them on the map 6:20
For their harmonies, I noticed Ken usually is the one who suddenly changes. Like he will suddenly do falsettos after a low note. Many other live performances I also noticed, most especially just the singing performances, he supports others by singing lower notes in the background for a rather big portion of the song.
For other SB19 live performance vids, I would like to suggest their covers as well. They did several at the start of their career. They did not just do Kpop songs but also songs like Finesse by Bruno Mars and more recently Attention by Charlie Puth. 😊

Ken is known within the fandom as the Intro King. He is the "starting fairy" for most of SB19's songs. He also has a wide vocal range. He can be depended upon to do the deep bass and also the high falsetto. Of course Ken also has a very rich baritone🐥

Love goes is actually my Sb19 second favourite song after TILALUHA. Both songs from their debut album. TILALUHA is very OPM while Love Goes has western influence. It's very backstreet boys and nsync.

In general, and especially in older stuff, if someone other than Stell is doing high harmonies, it's Pablo. Justin and Ken are usually doing low harmonies and Josh can sometimes be unfortunately hard to hear, as he's the "middle" voice.
One of my fav is go up it's more meaning and also MAPA...

I don't know if the Wish Bus allows you to have backing vocals. At least there is none in any of their other Wish Bus performances, or any of the other artists who have gone on the bus. I would bet there is none here, too.

YES THAT'S DEFINITELY KEN'S FALSETTO AT @40:05, HE CAN GO DEEP AND HE CAN ALSO DO HIGH FALSETTO. HE HAS A VERY VERSATILE VOICE AND HE CAN INTERCHANGE IT QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY 😊
if you ever get into their live ballads, i recommend Tilaluha and Hanggang Sa Huli from their TM Pusuan guesting (one of them posted by TM Tambayan, and the official SB19 channel), personally think those are the best versions of those songs and when you watch it, i think you might agree too! 😊

LOVE GOES can be abbreviated as LG that sounds like ELEGY (if pronounced faster). ELEGY is a song or poem of sorrow for someone you love. That's the song's thought. Longing for a lost love. It's so poetic, especially the ACOUSTIC VERSION.
Anyway, they're an all-rounder group even before, so, harmonizing and switching ranges from mems just occurs time to time.
Ken has a wide range. Although Stell can really hit the highest notes in the group, Ken can also hit high notes in his falsetto. And for me he has the most developed falsetto among the them. You can hear him use it more on his solo songs.
Stell can really push through high notes, especially now. And that angelic tone he has even when belting earned him THE HEAVENLY VOICE tag.
